Lawnside School District

Lawnside is a borough in Camden County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the borough's population was 2,945, reflecting an increase of 253 (+9.4%) from the 2,692 counted in the 2000 Census. In the previous decade, the population of the small community had declined by 149 (-5.2%) from the 2,841 counted in the 1990 Census.Lawnside was developed in 1840 and incorporated as the first independent, self-governing black municipality north of the Mason-Dixon Line in 1926. The United Parcel Service has a large depot in the borough. The borough had the 25th-highest property tax rate in New Jersey, with an equalized rate of 4.213% in 2020, compared to 3.470% in the county as a whole and a statewide average of 2.279%.

Woodcrest station is a station on the PATCO Lindenwold Line rapid transit system. The station is located in the Woodcrest section of Cherry Hill, New Jersey, at the intersection of Woodcrest Road and Melrose Avenue. Woodcrest is the first stop in the outermost (formerly "Blue") fare zone.

Ashland station is a rapid transit station on the PATCO Lindenwold Line. The station is located in Voorhees, New Jersey, roughly near the intersection of Evesham and Burnt Mill Roads. A small section of the parking area is located in Cherry Hill. Ashland station is located near Voorhees Town Center.

The Magnolia School District is a community public school district that serves students in pre-kindergarten through eighth grade in Magnolia, in Camden County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2018–19 school year, the district, comprising one school, had an enrollment of 408 students and 39.1 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 10.4:1.The district is classified by the New Jersey Department of Education as being in District Factor Group "CD", the sixth-highest of eight groupings. District Factor Groups organize districts statewide to allow comparison by common socioeconomic characteristics of the local districts. From lowest socioeconomic status to highest, the categories are A, B, CD, DE, FG, GH, I and J.For ninth grade through twelfth grade, public school students attend Sterling High School, a regional high school district that also serves students from Somerdale and Stratford, along with the sending districts of Hi-Nella and Laurel Springs. The high school is located in Somerdale. As of the 2018–19 school year, the high school had an enrollment of 958 students and 69.8 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 13.7:1.

Tavistock is a borough in Camden County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the population was 5, reflecting a decline of 19 (-79.2%) from the 24 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn declined by 11 (-31.4%) from the 35 counted in the 1990 Census. As of the 2010 Census it was the smallest municipality by population in New Jersey, with seven fewer residents than nearby Pine Valley, which had 12.Tavistock was incorporated as a borough by an act of the New Jersey Legislature on February 16, 1921, from portions of the now-defunct Centre Township. The name of the borough came from the estate in England of a family of early settlers.The borough was formed in order to allow the members of Tavistock Country Club to play golf on Sundays by members of the Victor Talking Machine Company. This was prohibited at the Haddon Country Club which was governed by a local blue law prohibiting sporting activities on Sundays. Tavistock's secession from Haddonfield, New Jersey, the original site of the club, is said to have been driven by the fact that Haddonfield was (and remains) a dry borough, though Tavistock was formed in 1921 during Prohibition when liquor would have been banned. Members of the club included State Senator Joseph Wallworth and Assembly Speaker T. Harry Rowland, who helped push the bill that created the new municipality to unanimous approval in the New Jersey Legislature.

Peter Mott House is an historic home that is the oldest standing residence in Lawnside, New Jersey. It was the home of Peter and Eliza Mott, a freed Black farmer, carpenter, pastor, and a "stationmaster" on the Underground Railroad. It is located in close proximity to Interstate 295, the New Jersey Turnpike, and the White Horse Pike.

Ashland is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) located within Cherry Hill, in Camden County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the CDP's population was 8,302.

Tavistock Country Club is a private 18-hole golf club located in Tavistock, New Jersey. On December 14, 1920, the club was formally incorporated, and the course was ready for play on June 22, 1921. The course is nestled between Warwick Road and Interstate 295 in Camden County, New Jersey.The club is where the modern day snowboard was created by Tom Sims.Tavistock is part of the smallest municipality in New Jersey by population. The Borough of Tavistock was established in 1921 as the club's original municipality, Haddonfield, did not allow for games to be played on Sunday.The current (2019) club champion at Tavistock is Jamie Slonis and Mary McGuinness.

Somerdale is a borough in Camden County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the borough's population was 5,151, reflecting a decline of 41 (-0.8%) from the 5,192 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn declined by 248 (-4.6%) from the 5,440 counted in the 1990 Census.The Borough of Somerdale was created on April 23, 1929, from portions of Clementon Township, one of seven municipalities created from the now-defunct township, and one of five new municipalities (including Hi-Nella Borough, Lindenwold Borough, Pine Hill Borough and Pine Valley Borough) created on that same date.

Osage is an unincorporated community located within the Echelon section of Voorhees Township in Camden County, New Jersey, United States. The name Osage derives from a small group of Indians of the Sioux tribe from the Midwestern United States that settled in the area.In the area of Osage is Osage Elementary School, one of four elementary schools in the township. Osage has over 500 students. It is located directly across from the Voorhees Town Center (formerly known as the Echelon Mall).

Brookfield Schools are a group of private, co-educational special schools in New Jersey, United States. It was established in 1976 and provides educational and therapeutic services for K–12 students on three sites; 9–12 Brookfield Academy in Cherry Hill, K–8 Brookfield Elementary in Haddon Heights, and a college transition program via Camden County College campus in Blackwood. The schools use Common Core curriculum standards and testing, sports activities to build teamwork and social skills, and a collaboration with a local animal shelter to "sharpen reading skills" and socialize puppies for adoption. It is listed among New Jersey's "Approved Private Schools for Students with Disabilities." According to the Camden City Board of Education, "Brookfield Schools is a nationally recognized and highly qualified organization in providing home educational services to students in need of such services."
