Kaipara Flats is a locality in the Rodney District of New Zealand. Warkworth is 12 km to the east, Ahuroa to the south, and Tauhoa to the north-west. The North Auckland railway line passes through the area. The economy is mostly sheep and cattle farming, with lifestyle blocks increasing in popularity. The Rodney Aero Club has an airfield nearby. A bridle track was established to Glorit on the Kaipara Harbour in 1899, and part was improved to a dray road the following year. The North Auckland Line reached Kaipara Flats from Ahuroa in 1906.

Dome Valley is a rural area in the northern Auckland Region of New Zealand. It is situated between the towns of Warkworth and Wellsford. State Highway 1 and the Left Branch of the Mahurangi River run through the valley.

It is operated by the Institute of Radio Astronomy and Space Research of Auckland University of Technology and was constructed in 2008.

The Warkworth 30m Radio Telescope is a radio telescope at the Spark Warkworth Station Site 2, located just south of Warkworth, New Zealand, about 50 km north of the Auckland CBD. It was operated by the Institute for Radio Astronomy and Space Research, Auckland University of Technology until 3 July 2023. It is now operated by SpaceOps NZ under licence from Spark. The antenna was commissioned in 1984 by New Zealand Post Office for international telecommunications via a geostationary satellite.

Rodney is a local government area in the northernmost part of New Zealand's Auckland Region, governed by the Rodney Local Board and Auckland Council. It currently aligns with the council's Rodney Ward.The area was part of the Rodney District between 1989 and 2010, and part of Helensville Borough and Rodney County until 1989. There are several lifestyle blocks, retirement homes and holiday homes close to Auckland.The Kaipara Harbour and surrounding area is within the tribal area of Ngāti Whātua o Kaipara, which has five marae in the area.

It was created from the amalgamation of Helensville Borough and Rodney County in 1989. The seat of Rodney District Council was at Orewa. The Warkworth Radio Astronomical Observatory is a radio telescope observatory, located just south of Warkworth, New Zealand, about 50 km north of the Auckland CBD. It is operated by the Institute for Radio Astronomy and Space Research, Auckland University of Technology. The WARK12M 12m Radio Telescope was constructed in 2008. In 2010, a licence to operate the Telecom New Zealand 30m dish was granted, which led to the commissioning of the WARK30M 30m Radio Telescope. The first observations made in conjunction with the Australian Long Baseline Array took place in 2011.

The Warkworth & District Museum, also known as the Warkworth Museum, is a local museum in the township of Warkworth in the Auckland Region, New Zealand. The museum focuses on the local history of the Matakana Coast area, especially the kauri logging industry.

Rodney Local Board is one of the 21 local boards of Auckland Council, and is administered by the ward councillor representing Rodney Ward. Located in the northern part of the Auckland region, it is named after the former Rodney District which existed before its amalgamation into Auckland Council in 2010. Nine elected Local Board members sit on the board. The Rodney Local Board is charged with decision-making on local issues, activities, and services, and provide input into regional strategies, policies, plans, and decisions.

Holy Name Church is a Roman Catholic church located in Warkworth, New Zealand. It is one of two churches in the Holy Name Parish (the other being Saints Peter and Paul Church in Puhoi). The church is dedicated to the Holy Name of Jesus.
