Maccabi Ground (Hebrew: מגרש מכבי or Hebrew: מגרש המכבי), was a football stadium in south-east Tel Aviv, near Neve Sha'anan and Shapira neighborhoods of Tel Aviv, Israel. The ground was in use between 1926 and 1944 and was abandoned when it was built over.

The Old Tel Aviv central bus station was the main bus station of Tel Aviv from 1941 until 1993. The station served intercity bus routes as well as local city and suburban buses. On August 18, 1993, Tel Aviv's New central bus station became the city's new transportation hub. The old station was demolished in July 2009.

Tel Aviv HaHagana railway station is a major railway station on the Ayalon Railway in southern Tel Aviv, Israel, serving most lines of Israel Railways. It is located in the median of the Ayalon Highway, north of Highway 1 and 400 meters east of the Tel Aviv Central Bus Station. In 2019, over six million passengers used the station, making it the third-busiest in the country after the nearby Savidor Central and HaShalom stations. The station building fronts a road bridge above the highway, connecting Lewinsky Street with HaHagana Road. The station's proximity to the central bus station makes it an important interchange.

Shapira (Hebrew: שכונת שפירא) (Shechunat Shapira) is a neighborhood in south Tel Aviv, Israel with a population of 8,000. It is located south of the Tel Aviv Central Bus Station and extends to the Ayalon Highway in the east, Mount Zion Boulevard in the west, and to Kibbutz Galuyot Street in the south.Shapira is home to a large community of migrants and foreign workers. In 2005, it was described as one of the most heterogeneous neighborhoods in Tel Aviv.

Mount Hope (Hebrew: הר התקווה) was a farm established northeast of Jaffa in 1853 by two groups of Millennial Protestant Christians from Prussia and the United States. Their goal was to train the Jews of Palestine to farm and thereby accelerate the redemption. Following various hardships including malaria and an 1858 attack by local Arabs, the settlement was abandoned.
