Villa Palmieri, Fiesole

Villa Schifanoia is a villa and gardens in Florence, Tuscany, central Italy, close to the nearby city of Fiesole. It is near the boundary with the Province of Florence.

The European University Institute (EUI) is an international postgraduate and post-doctoral teaching and research institute and an independent body of the European Union with juridical personality, established by the member states to contribute to cultural and scientific development in the social sciences, in a European perspective. EUI is designated as an international organisation. It is located in the hills above Florence in Fiesole, Italy. In 2021, EUI's School of Transnational Governance, with its flagship graduate and executive programmes, moved to the Casino Mediceo di San Marco, which is a late-Renaissance or Mannerist style palace in the historic centre of Florence.

The Badia Fiesolana was an medieval and renaissance period Roman Catholic monastery located in the town of Fiesole (in the quarter of San Domenico), northeast of Florence, Italy. Since 1976 the building is the main seat of the European University Institute. The original Camaldolese monks building was completed in 1028 and was subsequently transferred to Benedictines from Montecassino and the Canons Regular of St. Augustine.

The Convent of San Domenico (Italian: Convento di San Domenico) is a Dominican convent in Fiesole, Italy, situated between the hill of Fiesole and the suburbs of Florence. It was founded in 1406 and completed in 1435 on the initiative of Giovanni Dominici and the bishop of Fiesole, Jacopo Altoviti, both of them friars at the Basilica of Santa Maria Novella in Florence. Fra Angelico was a friar here, and painted several artworks for the convent, including the Fiesole Altarpiece and the Coronation of the Virgin (now in the Louvre of Paris). Pietro Perugino's Madonna with Child between Saints John the Baptist and Sebastian, painted here in 1493, is now at the Uffizi Gallery in Florence. Also here is the 'Baptism' of Lorenzo di Credi, a free rendering of the Baptism in the Uffizi, the panel attributed to master Verrocchio and to Leonardo himself. Since the 2016 Convent of San Domenico hosts Language Centre, the Human Resources Service and a part of the Budget and Financial Affairs Service of the European University Institute.

Villa La Pietra is a renaissance villa in the hills outside Florence, in Tuscany in central Italy. It was formerly the home of Arthur Acton and later of his son Harold Acton, on whose death in 1994 it was bequeathed to New York University.: 18  The villa is now home to NYU Florence.

Villa Le Balze is a garden villa in Fiesole, a comune of the Metropolitan City of Florence and the region of Tuscany in central Italy. The villa was commissioned and built by Charles Augusts Strong in 1913, where he spent much of his life. It was then embroiled in the fighting of the Second World War and came into the possession of Margaret Rockefeller Strong. The villa is today owned by Georgetown University and hosts year-round study abroad students focused on interdisciplinary study of Italian culture and civilization, as well as such other subjects as politics and history.

The Villa Medici is a patrician villa in Fiesole, Tuscany, Italy, the fourth oldest of the villas built for the Medici family. It was built between 1451 and 1457. It is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site inscribed as Medici Villas and Gardens in Tuscany.

The Fiesole School of Music (Italian: Scuola di Musica di Fiesole) is a music school in Fiesole, Italy. It was founded by Piero Farulli (it) in 1974.It presents an annual New Year's Day concert at the Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino.A premier institution at the Fiesole School of Music is the Orchestra Giovanile Italiana, the national youth orchestra of Italy. As of 2008 violinist Pavel Vernikov was tutor at the school, and Maria Kouznetsova one of his students.

Villa il Palmerino is a villa in Settignano, in the north-eastern part of the city of Florence, in central Italy. It lies in the hills below Fiesole, close to the frazione and convent of San Domenico. From about 1889 it was the home of the British writer Violet Paget, who wrote under the pseudonym "Vernon Lee", and was at that time also known as Villa Paget.: 70 

The Basilica of Sant'Alessandro is a Catholic church in Fiesole, Italy. Built in the 6th century on the site of an Etruscan temple, it is the oldest church in Fiesole. The neoclassical facade was added in the early 19th century, while the interior remains largely preserved in its original design.
