Vodmat (pronounced [ˈʋoːdmat]; in older sources also Udmat, German: Udmath) is a formerly independent settlement in the eastern part of the capital Ljubljana in central Slovenia. It is part of the traditional region of Lower Carniola and is now included with the rest of the municipality in the Central Slovenia Statistical Region.

Štepanja Vas (pronounced [ʃtɛˈpaːnja ˈʋaːs]; in older sources also Štepana Vas, German: Stefansdorf) is a formerly independent settlement in the southeast part of the capital Ljubljana in central Slovenia. It belongs to the City Municipality of Ljubljana. It is part of the traditional region of Lower Carniola and is now included with the rest of the municipality in the Central Slovenia Statistical Region.

Selo (pronounced [ˈsɛːlɔ]) is a formerly independent settlement in the east-central part of the capital Ljubljana in central Slovenia. It belongs to the City Municipality of Ljubljana. It is part of the traditional region of Upper Carniola and is now included with the rest of the municipality in the Central Slovenia Statistical Region.

Selo Mansion (Slovene: Dvorec Selo) is a mansion at Zalog Street (Zaloška cesta) west of the intersection with Kajuh Street (Kajuhova ulica) in the former village of Selo in the Moste District of Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. It is a Late Baroque mansion, currently owned by the company GIVO Real. It houses the embassies of Albania and Kosovo, a private clinic, and an ethno club.

The Golovec District (Slovene: Četrtna skupnost Golovec), or simply Golovec, is a district (mestna četrt) of the City Municipality of Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. It encompasses Golovec Hill, which dates back to the Carboniferous period and consists of clastic rock (siltstone, claystone and sandstone).

The Ljubljana University Medical Centre (Slovene: Univerzitetni klinični center Ljubljana, abb. UKC Ljubljana) or Ljubljana UMC is the largest hospital centre in Slovenia based in Ljubljana. It was officially opened on 29 November 1975 and as of December 2019 has over 2,100 beds and over 8,300 employees, making it one of the largest hospital centres in Central Europe.It is the main training base for the University of Ljubljana Faculty of Health Sciences and the Faculty of Medicine, which is housed nearby. The Ljubljana University Medical Centre had previously been led by Janez Poklukar, who has since become the Minister of Health.

The Fabiani Bridge (Slovene: Fabianijev most) is a two-level bridge over the Ljubljanica River in Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. It links Njegoš Street (Njegoševa cesta) with Rog Street (Roška cesta) and thus completes the Ljubljana's inner ring road. The bridge has been named after its original conceptor Max Fabiani (1865–1962) and was opened to the public on 22 August 2012. The architect in charge of the design was Jurij Kobe.On 23 August in the morning, a day after the opening of the bridge, a severe balloon accident happened at the Ljubljana Marsh, several kilometres away. The Fabiani Bridge significantly shortened the pathway of ambulances driving the injured from the site of accident to the Ljubljana University Medical Centre, located in the vicinity of the bridge.Planning and realization of the bridge have been criticized since the beginning of its planning because it disadvantages cyclists and pedestrians who are not allowed to use the upper part of the bridge, which links Njegoš Street and Rog Street directly, and are confined to using the lower level, which connects to Rog Street via a set of inclined sidepaths on the Šuštar Embankment.

The National Education Institute Slovenia - NEI (Slovene: Zavod Republike Slovenije za Šolstvo, ZRSŠ) is the main public organisation in Slovenia that encourages development in education in Slovenia up to pre-university — covering all kindergartens, elementary schools, secondary schools, music schools, and boarding schools.

St. Peter's Parish Church (Slovene: Župnijska cerkev sv. Petra, Šempetrska cerkev or Šentpetrska cerkev) is a Roman Catholic church in Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. It is one of the oldest churches in Ljubljana and is the seat of Ljubljana–St. Peter parish. It is located in the Center District, at the corner of Trubar Street (Trubarjeva cesta), Njegoš Street (Njegoševa cesta) and Zalog Street (Zaloška cesta), near Croatian Square (Hrvatski trg). The University Medical Centre Ljubljana is situated in the immediate vicinity.

The Ljubljanica Sluice Gate (Slovene: Zapornica na Ljubljanici), or the Partition (Pregrada),: 180–181  is a sluice gate and a triumphal arch on the Ljubljanica River in Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. It is located between Cukrarna (a former sugar factory) and Vraz Square (Vrazov trg) in the Center District, east of the Ljubljana old town, a bit downstream of Ambrož Square (Ambrožev trg). It was designed in 1939 by the Slovene architect Jože Plečnik, who envisaged it as a monumental farewell to the Ljubljanica River on its exit from the Ljubljana city centre. It was planned to be used as a footbridge as well. The sluice gate was built with difficulty from 1940 until 1943: 184  by the constructor Matko Curk. Since July 2009, it has been protected as a monument of national significance, along with other major works by Plečnik.

The Montenegrin Embassy in Ljubljana (Montenegrin: Ambasada Crne Gore u Ljubljani) is Montenegro's diplomatic mission to the Slovenia. It is located at Njegoševa cesta 14. The current Ambassador of Montenegro to the Slovenia is Ranko Milović.

Moste (pronounced [ˈmoːstɛ]) is a formerly independent settlement in the east-central part of the capital Ljubljana in central Slovenia. It belongs to the City Municipality of Ljubljana. It is part of the traditional region of Upper Carniola and is now included with the rest of the municipality in the Central Slovenia Statistical Region. Ljubljana's Moste District is named after Moste.
