Rydal, Pennsylvania

Rydal station is a station along the SEPTA West Trenton Line to Ewing, New Jersey. It is located at Susquehanna Road and Old Valley Road in the Rydal neighborhood of Abington Township, Pennsylvania. In FY 2013, Rydal station had a weekday average of 147 boardings and 138 alightings. The station has off-street parking and now houses a post office. Rydal station was originally built in 1888 by the Reading Railroad, and is located on the north side of the tracks off of Susquehanna Road. An open sheltered shed can be found on Washington Lane, and the intersection of Washington Lane and Susquehanna Road can be found east of the shed beneath an 11'6" bridge under the tracks.

Penn State Abington is a commonwealth campus of the Pennsylvania State University and it is located in Abington, Pennsylvania. The campus is set on 45 acres (180,000 m2) of wooded land. The roughly 4000 undergraduate students (full-time and part-time students combined) are taught by a full-time staff of over 150 professors and teaching assistants. Several degree options are available at Penn State Abington. Students may start any of 160 Penn State baccalaureate programs at the Abington campus and complete them at another Penn State campus, including the main University Park campus. The athletics program has been granted full NCAA Division III status.

The Abington Township High School was a complex of educational buildings at 1801 Susquehanna Road in Abington Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. The 5-acre (2.0 ha) property included a number of buildings, including the township's first purpose-built school building. Buildings in the complex served as a high school, junior high school, and school administration facility. All but the oldest building were demolished in 1996, replaced by a senior living facility. The complex was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

Abington Art Center is an art center built in 1939, and located in Abington Township, a northern suburb of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The center resides within Alverthorpe Manor and the surrounding 27-acre grounds that were formerly the residence of Lessing J. Rosenwald and his family. The art center features a studio school, innovation center, exhibition galleries and a sculpture park. The building itself features a vintage elevator from the 1930s.

The Strawbridge and Clothier Store is a historic department store building located at Jenkintown, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. It was built by Strawbridge & Clothier in 1930-1931 and renovated and expanded in 1954. It closed in 1988 when it relocated to the Willow Grove Park Mall. It is now an office building, multi-tenant.
