Noble station

Noble is an unincorporated community in Abington Township in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, United States. Noble is located at the intersection of Pennsylvania Route 611 (Old York Road) and Baeder Road north of Jenkintown. The community is served by the Noble station along SEPTA Regional Rail's West Trenton Line. Noble uses the Jenkintown ZIP code of 19046.

The Strawbridge and Clothier Store is a historic department store building located at Jenkintown, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. It was built by Strawbridge & Clothier in 1930-1931 and renovated and expanded in 1954. It closed in 1988 when it relocated to the Willow Grove Park Mall. It is now an office building, multi-tenant.

Jenkins' Town Lyceum Building, also known as Jenkintown Library, is a historic lyceum and library building located at Jenkintown, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. The original building was built in 1839, and expanded in 1909–1910. It is a two-story, fieldstone building with a gable roof and a one-story rear wing and addition. It features a two-story, columned portico with a flagstone floor. The Reading Room and Lambert Memorial Room have notable decorations.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

Abington Senior High School is a three-year co-educational high school in Abington, Pennsylvania, United States. The school was a two-year high school known as Abington South Campus from September 1964 until June 1983. In September 1983, Abington South Campus again became a three-year high school (grades 10 through 12) and eventually changed its name back to Abington Senior High. The 2017-2018 enrollment was 1,808. The principal is Mr. Angelo Berrios. Abington students are leaders in PSSA scores in the state of Pennsylvania and have won technology-oriented awards from Dell and Microsoft. Abington is most notable for its chess team, which has won the scholastic state championship numerous times and has won the scholastic national championship three times, with coach Shawn Simmons, along with the school being involved in the landmark supreme court case decision: Abington School District v. Schempp.

Abington Friends School is an independent Quaker school in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania, United States, serving students from age 3 to grade 12. Abington Friends School has stood on its original campus in the Abington Township neighborhood of Jenkintown since 1697, and is the oldest primary and secondary educational institution in the United States to operate continuously at the same location under the same management. The school draws students from approximately 75 ZIP codes around the greater Philadelphia area, as well as international students from many regions of China.

The Abington Township High School was a complex of educational buildings at 1801 Susquehanna Road in Abington Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. The 5-acre (2.0 ha) property included a number of buildings, including the township's first purpose-built school building. Buildings in the complex served as a high school, junior high school, and school administration facility. All but the oldest building were demolished in 1996, replaced by a senior living facility. The complex was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

Abington Friends Meeting House is a Quaker meeting house located in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania. The original meeting house was established from 1698 to 1699, with land and a 100 pounds sterling donated by John Barnes. In 1784, a separate school building was established for the Abington Friends School.

Abington Art Center is an art center built in 1939, and located in Abington Township, a northern suburb of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The center resides within Alverthorpe Manor and the surrounding 27-acre grounds that were formerly the residence of Lessing J. Rosenwald and his family. The art center features a studio school, innovation center, exhibition galleries and a sculpture park. The building itself features a vintage elevator from the 1930s.

Rydal station is a station along the SEPTA West Trenton Line to Ewing, New Jersey. It is located at Susquehanna Road and Old Valley Road in the Rydal neighborhood of Abington Township, Pennsylvania. In FY 2013, Rydal station had a weekday average of 147 boardings and 138 alightings. The station has off-street parking and now houses a post office. Rydal station was originally built in 1888 by the Reading Railroad, and is located on the north side of the tracks off of Susquehanna Road. An open sheltered shed can be found on Washington Lane, and the intersection of Washington Lane and Susquehanna Road can be found east of the shed beneath an 11'6" bridge under the tracks.

Jefferson Abington Hospital is the flagship hospital of Jefferson Health–Abington (part of Jefferson Health), located in Abington Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, in the northern suburbs of Philadelphia. The hospital was formerly known as Abington Hospital–Jefferson Health (circa 2015 to 2020), and before that it was long known, throughout its first century, as Abington Memorial Hospital (AMH).
