Oldmans Township School District

Oldmans Township is a township in Salem County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2020 United States census, the township's population was 1,910, an increase of 137 (+7.7%) from the 2010 census count of 1,773, which in turn reflected a decline of 25 (−1.4%) from the 1,798 counted in the 2000 census.Oldmans Township was incorporated on February 7, 1881, from portions of Upper Penns Neck Township (now Carneys Point Township). The township's name is a corruption of "Alderman's".It is a dry town, where alcohol cannot be sold legally, though alcohol is available at the winery in the township.

Pedricktown is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) located within Oldmans Township, in Salem County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2010 United States Census, the CDP's population was 524. The area is served as United States Postal Service ZIP Code 08067.

A liquefied natural gas (LNG) off-loading and processing facility called the Crown Landing LNG Terminal was proposed in Logan Township, New Jersey on a 175-acre (71 ha) site along the Delaware River. The new facility would have been one of 14 LNG off-loading and processing facilities in the United States, and would have allowed for the importation of LNG from anywhere in the world. Once the LNG was processed into natural gas, it would have been transmitted throughout the Mid Atlantic and Northeastern United States via a number of interconnections with existing natural gas pipelines that are located near the proposed terminal.

Beckett is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) within Logan Township, in Gloucester County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2010 United States Census, the CDP's population was 4,847.

The Sievers Sandberg Reserve Center is a U.S. Army Reserve training installation in New Jersey. It occupies 39 acres (16 ha).[2] It was previously Camp Pedricktown an Air Defense Base Construction under the Philadelphia District of the Army Corps of Engineers transferred to the New York District on July 1, 1960. The station had a Missile Master installation with an Army Air Defense Command Post, and associated search, height finder, and identification friend or foe radars. The station's radars were subsequently replaced with radars at Gibbsboro Air Force Station 15 mi (24 km) away.[3] The obsolete Martin AN/FSG-1 Antiaircraft Defense System,a 1957-vintage vacuum tube computer, was removed after command of the defense area was transferred to the command post at Highlands Air Force Station near New York City. The Highlands AFS command post controlled the combined New York-Philadelphia Defense Area.The air defense station, with an intact bunker was designated an historic site in 1998 by the Salem Historic Preservation Office.

The Fort Meade radar station was a Cold War military site with several sets of radar equipment in various Army and USAF radar networks. The site operated c. 1950 until 1979 and had a Project Nike command post and radar network.

Pureland Industrial Complex is a 3,000-acre (12 km2) industrial park located in Logan Township in Gloucester County, New Jersey, United States. It borders the Delaware River and Raccoon Creek, and is located 12 miles (19 km) south of the ports of Camden and Philadelphia. Interstate 295, U.S. Route 322 and U.S. Route 130 run through it and connect it to major truck routes. SMS Rail Lines connect to Penns Grove Secondary and the national rail network. It was opened in 1975 and is the largest industrial park in the state of New Jersey, and one of the largest in the world.

Penn's Neck Township was a township that existed in Salem County, New Jersey, United States, from 1701 until 1721. Penn's Neck Township was first mentioned on May 12, 1701. It had originally existed as West Fenwick Township, which was first mentioned in a deed on August 30, 1676, though the details of its incorporation are unknown.The township was subdivided and dissolved as of July 10, 1721, with the formation of Upper Penns Neck Township (now Carneys Point Township) and Lower Penns Neck Township (now Pennsville Township).

Auburn is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Salem County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. It includes the Auburn section of Oldmans Township and extends southeast to include rural and semi-suburban land in Pilesgrove Township.It is in northern Salem County, bordered to the northeast by Oldmans Creek, which separates the community from Woolwich Township in Gloucester County. The New Jersey Turnpike passes through the northern part of the CDP, just south of Auburn village. The nearest turnpike access is 7 miles (11 km) to the southwest at the southern terminus of the highway near the Delaware Memorial Bridge, or 6 miles (10 km) to the northeast at Exit 2 near Swedesboro. Auburn was first listed as a CDP prior to the 2020 census. As of the 2020 census, its population was 1,057.

Penns Grove High School is a four-year comprehensive public high school that serves students in ninth through twelfth grades from Carneys Point Township and Penns Grove in Salem County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey, operating as part of the Penns Grove-Carneys Point Regional School District. A majority of students in grades 9-12 from Oldmans Township, New Jersey attend the district's high school as part of a sending/receiving relationship with the Oldmans Township School District, with the balance attending Woodstown High School in the Woodstown-Pilesgrove Regional School District. The school is located in Carneys Point Township. Penns Grove High school hosts the regional Academy of Chemical and Technological Engineering program, which prepares students for college majors in engineering fields. The Academy of Chemical and Technological Engineering operates in partnership with Rowan University, Salem Community College, DuPont and various other contributors.As of the 2022–23 school year, the school had an enrollment of 576 students and 48.0 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 12.0:1. There were 291 students (50.5% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and 54 (9.4% of students) eligible for reduced-cost lunch.

Salem County Career and Technical High School is a four-year vocational public high school located in Pilesgrove Township, in the U.S. state of New Jersey, that serves the vocational education needs of students in ninth through twelfth grades in Salem County, as part of the Salem County Vocational Technical Schools. The school is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Elementary and Secondary Schools.As of the 2022–23 school year, the school had an enrollment of 738 students and 46.5 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 15.9:1. There were 146 students (19.8% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and 31 (4.2% of students) eligible for reduced-cost lunch.

Claymont station is a station along the SEPTA Wilmington/Newark Line and Amtrak's Northeast Corridor in Claymont, Delaware; Amtrak services do not stop here and the station is only served by SEPTA. This station is the first stop in Delaware, continuing towards Wilmington and Newark. It is located at Myrtle & Marion Avenues and includes a 509 space parking lot. The line offers southbound service to Wilmington and Newark, Delaware and northbound service to Philadelphia. The south end of the station contains a long pedestrian bridge that crosses over Interstate 495 to Governor Printz Boulevard.
