Congdon Street Baptist Church

The Woods–Gerry House (or Dr. Marshall Woods House) is an historic house on 62 Prospect Street in Providence, Rhode Island. It is a large, three story brick structure, designed by Richard Upjohn and built in 1860 for Dr. and Mrs. Marshall Wood. It is the largest surviving 19th-century house in Providence, measuring 55 feet (17 m) in width and 75 feet (23 m) in depth. It features restrained Italianate styling, most evident in its porch and porte-cochere, and in its roofline. The building currently houses the Admissions office for the Rhode Island School of Design. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1971.

The Dr. George W. Carr House, also known simply as Carr House, is a historic house at 29 Waterman Street in the College Hill neighborhood of Providence, Rhode Island. The Queen Anne style house was built in 1885 by Edward I. Nickerson and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.The building was purchased by the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) in 1916, and has served a variety of roles for the school, most recently as a student cafe named Carr Haus and lounge at RISD. It is one of Providence's early prominent examples of Queen Anne styling. The house is built on a steep slope and located at the corner of a busy intersection of Waterman Street and Benefit Street.In 1916, the Providence Engineering Society occupied the entire second floor of the building, then owned by RISD. In 1926, artist Frank Convers Mathewson (1862–1941) lived in the Carr House.

Prospect Terrace Park is a park located on Congdon Street in the College Hill neighborhood of Providence, Rhode Island. The park was founded in 1869, on land that was given to the city by residents of the neighborhood. The park is known as "The Jewel of the City" for its dramatic elevated view of Downtown Providence. Author and Providence native H. P. Lovecraft frequently visited the park.

The First Baptist Church in America is the First Baptist Church of Providence, Rhode Island, also known as the First Baptist Meetinghouse. It is the oldest Baptist church congregation in the United States, founded in 1638 by Roger Williams in Providence, Rhode Island. The present church building was erected between 1774 and 75 and held its first meetings in May 1775. It is located at 75 North Main Street in Providence's College Hill neighborhood. It was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1960. It is affiliated with the American Baptist Churches USA.

The Museum of Art, Rhode Island School of Design (RISD Museum) is an art museum integrated with the Rhode Island School of Design, in Providence, Rhode Island, US. The museum was co-founded with the school in 1877, and still shares multiple buildings and facilities. It is the 20th-largest art museum in the United States, and has seven curatorial departments.

The East Side Trolley Tunnel, also known as the East Side Transit Tunnel or the College Hill Tunnel,: 82  is a bi-directional tunnel in Providence, Rhode Island, originally built for trolley use in 1914, and now used for public transit buses. The East Side Trolley Tunnel could be considered the first bus rapid transit link in North America, because of its exclusive and continuous bus use since 1948.

The State Arsenal, originally the Providence Marine Corps of Artillery Arsenal, and commonly called the Benefit Street Arsenal is a historic armory building located at 176 Benefit Street in the College Hill neighborhood of Providence, Rhode Island. It was built in 1829, was designed by Russell Warren in the Gothic Revival style, and was built by Tallman & Bucklin. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1970.

The Corliss–Brackett House, also known as the Charles Brackett House, is an historic house in the College Hill neighborhood of Providence, Rhode Island. The house is located at 45 Prospect Street at the southeast corner of Prospect and Angell Streets. According to Richard B. Harrington of the Rhode Island State Historical Preservation Commission, "There remain anywhere very few very formally and more monumentally treated durable masonry examples of the 'Italian (Tuscan) Villa style.'"

The Fleur-de-Lys Studios, also known as Fleur-de-Lis Studios or Sydney Burleigh Studio, is a historic art studio, and an important structure in the development of the Arts and Crafts Movement in the United States. It is located at 7 Thomas Street in the College Hill neighborhood of Providence, Rhode Island. It was designed by Sydney Burleigh and Edmund R. Willson, and built in 1885. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places and designated a National Historic Landmark in 1992. In addition, it is part of the College Hill Historic District.

The Rhode Island School of Design (RISD , pronounced "Riz-D") is a private art and design school in Providence, Rhode Island. The school was founded as a coeducational institution in 1877 by Helen Adelia Rowe Metcalf, who sought to increase the accessibility of design education to women. Today, RISD offers bachelor's and master's degree programs across 19 majors and enrolls approximately 2,000 undergraduate and 500 graduate students. The Rhode Island School of Design Museum—which houses the school's art and design collections—is one of the largest college art museums in the United States.The Rhode Island School of Design is affiliated with Brown University, whose campus sits immediately adjacent to RISD's on Providence's College Hill. The two institutions share social and community resources and since 1900 have permitted cross-registration. Together, RISD and Brown offer dual degree programs at the graduate and undergraduate levels. As of 2022, RISD alumni have received 10 MacArthur Genius fellowships, five Primetime Emmy Awards, and three Academy Awards. A 2016 analysis of the most successful American artists at auction found that the vast plurality held undergraduate degrees from RISD.

The David Winton Bell Gallery is a contemporary art gallery at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. The gallery was established in 1971 through a donation from the Bell family. The Bell Gallery serves as a hub of contemporary art within the university community and beyond, offering a diverse range of exhibitions, programs, and events. It is housed in the Albert and Vera List Art Center, and is part of the Brown Arts Institute.Each year, the gallery features four to five major shows, as well as dozens of student exhibitions. Recent exhibitions have featured work by Elisabeth Subrin, Lisa Reihana, Melvin Edwards, Wendy Edwards, and Carrie Mae Weems.

The Brick Schoolhouse (also known as the Meeting Street School) is a historic colonial school building at 24 Meeting Street in the College Hill neighborhood of Providence, Rhode Island. The structure is noted as the home of one of the first free schools in the United States and the first brick schoolhouse in the city of Providence. In 1828, the schoolhouse became the first public school to be open to African American children. Since the 1960s, the Providence Preservation Society has leased the structure from the city for use as a meeting hall.The Brick Schoolhouse was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1972; the building is also a contributing structure to the broader College Hill Historic District.
