Emma Pendleton Bradley Hospital, known as Bradley Hospital, is the first psychiatric hospital in the United States devoted exclusively to children and adolescents.A Lifespan partner and teaching hospital for The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, Bradley Hospital has established itself as the national center for training and research in child and adolescent psychiatry. It trains the next generation of behavioral health clinicians and investigates the causes of children’s mental health problems to develop effective therapies for improving their lives. Bradley Hospital is a private, not-for-profit hospital. Its subsidiary, Lifespan School Solutions, is the parent corporation of the Bradley Schools and provides services to other programs as well. They provide special education oversight, clinical coordination, technical assistance and administrative support to the schools.

The Fuller Rock Light was a lighthouse in Providence, Rhode Island. Destroyed in an explosion, it was replaced by a skeleton tower on the same foundation.

The James Dennis House is an historic house located at 3120 Pawtucket Avenue in East Providence, Rhode Island. This two-story wood-frame house was built sometime in the 1870s, and is a fine local example of Queen Anne Victorian style. Its most prominent features are a square tower with pyramidal roof, and a decorated porch that wraps around three sides. Although Pawtucket Avenue once had a significant number of such houses lining it, most have been demolished or significantly altered.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on November 28, 1980.

Starvegoat Island (or Starve Goat Island) was a small island in the Providence River, Providence, Rhode Island. The island also appears as "Sunshine Island" on the 1927 North American datum map produced by the US Army Corps of Engineers 30th Battalion. The island was the southeasternmost point in the city of Providence. During the 19th and early 20th centuries, it was known for its oystering. It was located off the coast of Fields Point until the passage between them was filled in during the 1950s and 1960s when the area was used as a land fill. The approximate location of the island is now an educational center for Save the Bay, and one of its features is the re-creation of a natural coastal buffer zone.

Fields Point (also known as Field's Point) is a historic park in the Washington Park neighborhood of Providence, Rhode Island jutting into Narragansett Bay right near the Providence River and Route 95.

Walsh-Kaiser Company was a shipyard along the Providence River on the border of Cranston and Providence, Rhode Island. It was built during World War II and financed by the Maritime Commission as part of the country's Emergency Shipbuilding Program. It was originally operated by Rheem Manufacturing, a company with no previous shipbuilding expertise. When Rheem had difficulty managing the yard, Kaiser Shipyards was retained to manage the operation.

St. Mary Academy – Bay View is an all-girls Catholic school, serving girls and young women from pre-school through grade twelve. Bay View is located in Riverside, Rhode Island. It was founded by the Religious Sisters of Mercy in 1874. It is located in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Providence.

The Gordon School is a coeducational, independent school located in East Providence, Rhode Island. Students are educated from nursery through eighth grade. It is located on a 12-acre (49,000 m2) site.

Pomham Rocks Light (also known as "Pomham Lighthouse") is a historic lighthouse in the Providence River about 200 yards (180 m) off the shoreline of the Riverside neighborhood of the city of East Providence, Rhode Island. It is the northernmost lighthouse in Narragansett Bay.

The Return Sludge Pumping Station, Fields Point Sewage Treatment Plant is an historic wastewater pumping station in the Field's Point Sewage Treatment Facility on Ernest Street in Providence, Rhode Island. It is a rectangular hip-roofed brick and concrete structure, located adjacent to the facility's aeration tanks, and is not readily visible from any public way. The building houses a number of large pumps in a large concrete substructure that is below grade. The facility was built in 1934–35, when the sewage treatment method was changed from a chemical process to a biological one, and is used to return biologically active sludge from the aeration tanks back into the treatment process. The pumps in the building are no longer original, having been replaced several times. The building is one of three to survive in the Field's Point area from the early decades of Providence's wastewater treatment system. the others are the Ernest Street Sewage Pumping Station and the Chemical Building; the Sludge Press House was demolished sometime in the last 30 years. The pumping station was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

The Washington Park Sewage Pumping Station is an historic wastewater pumping facility in Providence, Rhode Island. Its principal visible component is a concrete block structure, finished in stucco and topped by a hip roof, which is about 16 by 16 feet (4.9 m × 4.9 m). This building stands atop a large cast-in-place concrete well, in which pumps and gate valves are housed. The facility was built in 1911 to pump raw sewage from the low-lying Washington Park area to the Field's Point wastewater treatment facility, which lies about 1,000 feet (300 m) to the north. The pump station is located well back from the street, behind a low brick distribution facility. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

The Sludge Press House was an historic wastewater treatment facility building at the Fields Point Sewage Treatment Plant at Fields Point, Rhode Island in Providence, Rhode Island. It was a two-story brick structure, located near the center of the Field's Point facility, just east of the Chemical Building. It was about 138 by 51 feet (42 m × 16 m) in size, with a hip roof, and was built 1899-1901 as part of Providence's first wastewater treatment system. It housed the facilities used at the end of the treatment process by which remaining solids were dewatered and compressed before final disposal.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989, at which time it was described as being in deteriorated condition. It has since been demolished.
