Jungnim-dong

Sohn Kee-chung Park (Korean: 손기정공원; Hanja: 孫基禎公園) is a public park in Malli-dong, Jung District, Seoul, South Korea. It is named for Sohn Kee-chung, the first Korean to win an Olympic gold medal. It was established in 1987 and remodeled in 2020.The park is popular for sports, and contains a number of facilities for not only running, but also soccer, tennis, volleyball, and basketball. A statue of Sohn is located near a running track in the park.The park also contains a Sohn Kee-chung Children's Library and Sohn Kee-chung Cultural Library (손기정문화도서관), as well as the Sohn Kee Chung Memorial Hall. A cafe is located in the memorial hall. General use of the facilities is encouraged, with comfortable seats, desks, and tables available in significant quantities. A tree given to Sohn in the name of Adolf Hitler, who hosted the Olympics Sohn won his gold medal at, is now located in the park.

Gaemi Supermarket (Korean: 개미슈퍼; lit. ant supermarket) is a historic neighborhood grocery store in Seogye-dong, Yongsan District, Seoul, South Korea. It has been in continuous operation since the 1900s, and has become a tourist attraction for the city. In 2018, it was designated an Oraegage, a historic business, by the Seoul Metropolitan Government. The store once served the surrounding sewing industry in the area. After the sewing industry declined in the 2000s, the store's prospects also declined. However, beginning around the 2010s, it reportedly became a popular tourist attraction among foreign visitors to Korea. A nearby wall displays numerous photos the store's own took with visitors. The Seoul government also made it a part of a walking tour course from the nearby Seoul Station, and provided assistance in decorating the store and preparing it for foreign visitors. As of 2017, the store's owner was Cha Hyo-bun (차효분). Cha was born in the area and lived just across from the supermarket; she grew up visiting the store. She is the fifth person to own the store. Her friendliness and habit of taking and posting photos with visitors is reportedly a significant reason for why the store is liked by both tourists and locals.

The Seoul Station City Airport Terminal (SCAT) at Seoul Station, Seoul, is one of South Korea's Airport terminals. It is part of the AREX Line. The Seoul Station City Airport Terminal is a public transportation facility in which travellers on certain flights can check in their luggage at the Seoul Station before leaving for the airport as well as going through immigration for expedited entry once at the airport. As of February, 2015, the Seoul Station City Airport Terminal only supports flights for Asiana Airlines, Korean Air, Jeju Air and certain other airlines that codeshare with Asiana Airlines.

Yakhyeon Catholic Church (약현성당) is historic church of the Jungnim-dong, Jung District, Seoul. The parish is a part of the Archdiocese of Seoul. The official name is church of St. Joseph.

Jung District (Korean: 중구; Hanja: 中區; RR: Junggu; lit. Central District) is one of the 25 districts of Seoul, South Korea. Jung has a population of 131,452 (2013) and has a geographic area 9.96 km2 (3.85 sq mi), making it both the least-populous and the smallest district of Seoul, and is divided into 15 dong (administrative neighborhoods). Jung is located at the centre of Seoul on the northern side of the Han River, bordering the city districts of Jongno to the north, Seodaemun to the northwest, Mapo to the west, Yongsan to the south, Seongdong to the southeast, and Dongdaemun to the northeast. Jung is the historical city center of Seoul with a variety of old and new, including modern facilities such as high rise office buildings, department stores and shopping malls clustered together, and also a center of tradition where historic sites such as Deoksugung and Namdaemun can be found. Jung is home to cultural sites such as the landmark N Seoul Tower on Namsan Mountain, the Myeongdong Cathedral, the Bank of Korea Museum, and the Gwangtonggwan, the oldest continuously-operating bank building in Korea and one of city's protected monuments since March 5, 2001. The Myeongdong neighborhood is one of the most famous shopping areas and popular tourist destinations in South Korea. The district has undergone significant redevelopment in the recent decades, especially with the remodeling of Seoul Plaza and the opening up of Cheonggyecheon, previously covered by an elevated highway.

Seongwoo Barbershop (Korean: 성우이용원; RR: Seongu iyongwon) is a historic barbershop in Seoul, South Korea. It is the oldest active barbershop in Seoul, having been founded in 1927. It has remained a family business, and as of 2024 was operated by the third generation of the family. The store opened and has since remained in the same location since its founding, although it was originally a thatched-roof hanok. The Seoul Metropolitan Government registered it as an Oraegage, a store of historic value, as well as a Seoul Future Heritage, and provided funds for reconstruction after typhoon damage caused the collapse of the historic facade in 2019. The business was founded by Seo Jae-deok (서재덕), whom was reportedly the second person in Korea to obtain a barber license. Lee Seong-sun (이성순) was an employee at the barbershop; Seo took such a liking to him that he had Lee marry into the family, and he designated Lee as the successor. In 1935, Lee took over the business and renamed it (성우이발관; Seongu ibalgwan). In 1971, Lee's son Lee Nam-yeol (이남열) took over. The younger Lee had worked at the barbershop since he graduated from middle school in 1965. Some of the store's equipment has been used for most of the store's history, with a hair dryer dating back 90 years and a blade from 1934. The store was reportedly having difficulty securing a successor in 2019.

Chungjeongno Station is a subway station on Seoul Subway Line 2 and Seoul Subway Line 5. It is located in Seodaemun-gu, which is a district in Seoul, South Korea. Chungjeong was the pen name of minister Min Yeong-hwan, who committed suicide protesting the signing of the Japan–Korea Treaty of 1905.

Seoullo 7017 (Korean: 서울로 7017), also known as the Seoul Skygarden or Skypark, is an elevated, linear park in Seoul, built atop a former highway overpass. The path, which is about one kilometer in length and lined with 24,000 plants, is similar to New York City's High Line. Skygarden was designed by MVRDV, a Dutch firm, and opened in May 2017. In the future, the park may become an urban nursery, growing trees and plants for replanting elsewhere in the city. The path also improves walking times around the city's Central Station.The disused overpass closed in 2015 and cuts diagonally across Seoul Station at 17m above street level. The '70' in the name comes from the year 1970 when the flyover was dedicated, while the '17' is both the number of walkways connected to it, and the year 2017. The park includes gardens, terraces, and exhibitions, and will "feature over 24,085 plants representing 228 species of trees, shrubs and flowers found in and outside Korea."

Chungjeong Apartment (Korean: 충정아파트) is a historic residential apartment complex in Seodaemun District, Seoul, South Korea. Built in 1937 during the 1910–1945 Japanese colonial period, it was the first apartment complex in Korea to be built using reinforced concrete. In 2022, the Seoul Metropolitan Government announced its decision to have the building demolished. It was once thought to be the first apartment complex to be constructed in Korea, but this is not true according to KBS, which claims that idea was based on an incorrect assumption that the building was completed in 1930.
