The Television House (in Norwegian, Fjernsynshuset) is one of the main buildings at NRK headquarters at Marienlyst in Oslo. The other main building is Broadcasting House. The house was designed by Nils Holter and Jan Bauck and opened in 1969. News produced at Television house includes content for Dagsrevyen (TV), Dagsnytt (radio), NRK Nyheter (radio) as well as online news services.

NRK P1+ is a radio station, run by Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation (NRK). It is broadcast on DAB and online. The channel has its origin from NRK P1 and is intended for an adult audience. The broadcasts started on 2 October 2013 as part of NRK's digital radio offerings. Program Manager Line Gevelt Andersen led the effort in designing the channel.

NRK Folkemusikk is NRK's tenth radio channel, and was the first in Norway to be broadcast exclusively via DAB and Internet. The channel broadcasts music only, without presenters. The music consists of both new and old traditional Norwegian folk music in addition to some world music. The channel uses and includes recordings of folk music from the NRK archives, which contain over 50,000 recordings dating from 1934 until today, as well as other recordings. The channel started broadcasting as NRK Alltid Folkemusikk on 7 December 2004 but later simplified its name to the present NRK Folkemusikk.

NRK Nyheter (lit. 'NRK news') is a Norwegian all-news radio channel operated by the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation (NRK). It was launched on 14 April 1997 (as NRK Alltid nyheter) as part of an effort to attract listeners to DAB digital radio, and was the world's first all-digital news channel. Initially the station used the same production model as ABC NewsRadio in Sydney, Australia and broadcast news every fifteen minutes, in a less formal manner than traditional radio. It had its own staff of 16 journalists who created stories based on material provided by NRK's main news division, the BBC World Service, and Sveriges Radio. In 2002 the station moved to NRK's headquarters in Marienlyst, Oslo, where other NRK news output is produced. Although the channel had been set up with the aim of attracting listeners to DAB, it was later decided that early DAB coverage was too low, and parallel broadcasting on FM was begun in 17 of the largest Norwegian cities and towns. These FM transmissions were withdrawn in line with the planned switch-off of analogue radio in Norway, which started in January 2017, now that DAB+ transmissions can be received by 99.7% of the population. By 13 December 2017 all NRK national stations had transitioned to DAB+ transmissions only. In 2002 the station became part of NRK's news division. Alongside its own programmes, NRK Nyheter rebroadcasts programmes from other NRK stations and the audio from NRK's early-evening tv news programme Dagsrevyen. Overnight (from 22.00 to 6.30 on weekdays, longer at weekends) the station relays the BBC World Service in English. On weekdays NRK Nyheter also airs a special edition of Ekot – 15 minutes of news in Swedish from Sveriges Radio (30 minutes on Fridays) – and further BBC World Service content is rebroadcast as part of the daytime schedule at weekends. At the end of August 2018, NRK Alltid nyheter had a weekly reach of 82,000 listeners (an audience share of 1.8%).The channel is also available via satellite and online web services.

NRK Klassisk is a digital radio channel operated by the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation (NRK) which broadcasts classical music 24 hours a day.

NRK P13 is a digital radio channel operated by the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation (NRK). Launched on 28 January 2014, it is a music-based station playing mainly rock and indie music presented in a light-hearted style and aimed chiefly at listeners who consider themselves to be "too old for P3 but also too young for P1".The channel is broadcast nationwide on DAB radio as well as being available via digital television and on online.

NRK Stortinget (NRK Parliament) was a Norwegian digital radio channel operated by the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation (NRK). Created in 2000 to increase the transparency of political debate by providing an insight into the work of the Norwegian legislature, the Storting, it broadcast live parliamentary debates and other proceedings via DAB and on-line as well as using a part of the FM network around the larger cities. The transmissions via DAB ceased in 2007, and the service was later withdrawn in its entirety.

Radioteatret is a department of the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation which produces audio plays for radio broadcasting. It was established in 1927.In January 2021, Verdens Gang cited a report from NTB, saying that Radioteatret [now is] being decommissioned; furthermore "the theatre will get a new life as [a] podcast".

NRK Super is a Norwegian TV & radio channel aimed at children, run by the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation. The TV channel is broadcast on the digital terrestrial network, on the same frequency as NRK3 from 7am to 7pm, and was launched 1 December 2007. The NRK Super radio channel is broadcast on DAB radio (from 6am to 9pm) and the internet, and was originally named NRK Barn (NRK Children in English). It was launched on 16 October 2007. NRK Super also has a web community where children can sign up and play games that allow them to get their own profile and get friends online. Here also small children can visit the homepages of shows they have seen on TV, such like Fantorangen, Tøfferud (Chuggington), Komet Kameratene, and others. On some important days, NRK Super also broadcasts dramas and children's films. Viasat and RiksTV broadcasts this channel as number 6. NRK Super starts from 7am and ends 7:30pm.

NRK, an abbreviation of the Norwegian Norsk Rikskringkasting AS, generally expressed in English as the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation, is the Norwegian government-owned radio and television public broadcasting company, and the largest media organisation in Norway. All other TV channels, broadcast from Norway, were banned between 1960 and 1981. NRK broadcasts three national TV channels and thirteen national radio channels on digital terrestrial television, digital terrestrial radio and subscription television. All NRK radio stations are streamed online at NRK.no, which also offers an extensive TV service. NRK is a founding member of the European Broadcasting Union.

The Broadcasting House (in Norwegian, Kringkastingshuset) is the oldest building of the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation headquarters. Also known as the "Radio House" (Radiohuset) or the "White House" (Det hvite hus), it is situated in the Marienlyst area of the borough of St. Hanshaugen in Oslo, Norway. The other main building is known as the Television House.It was built between 1938 and 1950 after plans by architects Nils Holter (1899-1995) and Ole Øvergaard (1893–1972).

The University of Oslo Library (Norwegian: Universitetsbiblioteket i Oslo, UBO) is a library connected to the University of Oslo. Like the university, it was established in 1811 with Georg Sverdrup as the first head librarian. It originally doubled as the Norwegian national library, and was located at the old University of Oslo campus. In 1913 the current library building in Henrik Ibsens gate was completed. Head librarian at the time, from 1876 to 1922, was Axel Drolsum. In 1989 the institution National Library of Norway was established. It finally took over the national library tasks from the University Library in 1998, allowing the latter to concentrate on university matters. The same year, the University Library left the building in Henrik Ibsens gate for the newly constructed Georg Sverdrup's House, located at the modern University of Oslo campus at Blindern.
