Ben-Gurion International Airport Garden

Ben Gurion Airport railway station (Hebrew: תחנת הרכבת נמל התעופה בן גוריון, Tahanat HaRakevet Nemal HaTe'ufa Ben Gurion) is an Israel Railways station located in the lower level of Ben Gurion International Airport's Terminal 3. The station opened on 10 October 2004, together with the opening of Terminal 3. The railway line extending to the northwest from the station connects it to Tel Aviv and points north, while in the other direction from the station the railway splits south to Lod and southeast to Modi'in and Jerusalem.

Sabena Flight 571 was a scheduled passenger flight from Brussels to Lod via Vienna operated by the Belgian national airline, Sabena. On 8 May 1972 a Boeing 707 passenger aircraft operating that service, captained by British pilot Reginald Levy, DFC, was hijacked by four members of the Black September Organization, a Palestinian terrorist group. Following their instructions, Captain Levy landed the plane at Lod Airport (later Ben Gurion International Airport). The hijackers demanded that Israel release Palestinian prisoners in exchange for the hostages. The standoff was ended by an Israeli commando raid in which all of the hijackers were killed or captured.

Tzafria (Hebrew: צַפְרִיָּה, Arabic: تسفرية) is a religious moshav in central Israel. Located near Ben Gurion International Airport, it falls under the jurisdiction of Sdot Dan Regional Council. In 2019 it had a population of 971.

Yagel (Hebrew: יָגֵל, lit. 'he will rejoice') is a moshav in central Israel. Located near Lod and Ben Gurion International Airport, it falls under the jurisdiction of Sdot Dan Regional Council. In 2019 it had a population of 918.

Ulpana Tzfira is a religious institution for girls which is located in Tzafria, Israel. The Ulpana is related to Bnei-Akiva's yeshiva and was established in 1965.

Ben Gurion Airport (Hebrew: נמל התעופה בן-גוריון; Arabic: مطار بن غوريون الدولي) (IATA: TLV, ICAO: LLBG), commonly known by its Hebrew acronym as Natbag (נתב״ג), is the main international airport of Israel and the busiest one in the country. The airport is located on the northern outskirts of the city of Lod, about 45 km (28 mi) northwest of Jerusalem and 20 km (12 mi) southeast of Tel Aviv. Originally named Lod Airport, it was renamed in 1973 after David Ben-Gurion, Israel's first Prime Minister. The airport serves as a hub for El Al, Israir Airlines, Arkia, and Sun D'Or and is operated by the Israel Airports Authority – a government-owned corporation that manages all public airports and border crossings in Israel. In 2019, Ben Gurion handled 24.8 million passengers. The airport is considered to be among the five best airports in the Middle East due to its passenger experience and its high level of security. Security forces such as Israel Police officers, IDF and Israel Border Police soldiers are complemented by airport security guards who operate both in uniform and undercover. The airport has been the target of several terrorist attacks, but no attempt to hijack a plane departing from Ben Gurion airport has ever succeeded.The airport is of extreme strategic importance to Israel due to it being one of the few convenient entry points to the country for most travelers. To alleviate single point of failure risk, Ramon Airport was opened in 2019.

Neve Monosson (Hebrew: נוה מונוסון), also known as Neve Efraim and Neve Efraim Monosson, commonly called Monosson by its residents, is a communal settlement in central Israel with the autonomous status of a municipal borough within the joint municipality of Yehud-Monosson (along with the city of Yehud). In 2003 it had a population of 2,600 but its population is growing considerably due to the ongoing implementation of the Tamar Project, within which 200 family apartments are being replaced by 800 family apartments within a residents-initiated Pinui-Binui (literally: Eviction-Construction) Project; this project is expected to almost double the population of Monosson.

The Kfar Chabad railway station is a railway station in the central Israeli village of Kfar Chabad. The station lies between Lod and Tel Aviv HaHagana. It is served by trains on the line between Binyamina and Ashkelon. The town of Kfar Chabad is a Chasidic town affiliated with the Chabad movement. The station was constructed in 1952 in place of the old Palestine Railways halt which used to serve the village of Al-Safiriyya. In 1999, as part of double-tracking the Tel-Aviv—Lod railway, Kfar Habad station had been rebuilt. The station is operated by the country's national rail operator, Israel Railways.

Ahi'ezer (Hebrew: אֲחִיעֶזֶר) is a religious moshav in central Israel. Located near Lod, it falls under the jurisdiction of Sdot Dan Regional Council. In 2019 it had a population of 1,906.

Al-Safiriyya was a Palestinian Arab village in the Jaffa Subdistrict. It was depopulated during Operation Hametz in the 1948 Palestine War on May 20, 1948. It was located 11 km east of Jaffa, 1.5 km west of Ben Gurion Airport.

Kfar Chabad (Hebrew: כְּפַר חַבָּ"ד, lit. "Chabad Village") is a Chabad-Lubavitch village in central Israel. Between Beit Dagan and Lod, it falls under the jurisdiction of Sdot Dan Regional Council. In 2019 it had a population of 6,598.

Lod Air Force Base, also Air Force Base 27, was an Israeli Air Force airfield that was part of the Ben Gurion International Airport, located approximately 7 km (4 mi) north of Lod; 8 km (5 mi) east-southeast of Tel Aviv. From 1938 to 1948 it was known as RAF Station Lydda while under British Royal Air Force control.
