Governor Stephen Hopkins House

The Thomas F. Hoppin House is a historic house at 383 Benefit Street in the College Hill neighborhood of Providence, Rhode Island. The house was built c. 1853 to a design by Alpheus C. Morse, and is an elaborate local example of an Italianate palazzo-style residence. The Library of Congress called the property "one of the largest and most elegant houses built in Providence in the mid-nineteenth century."

The Nightingale–Brown House is a historic house at 357 Benefit Street on College Hill in Providence, Rhode Island. It is home to the John Nicholas Brown Center for Public Humanities and Cultural Heritage at Brown University. The house is architecturally significant as one of the largest surviving wood-frame houses of the 18th century, and is historically significant as the longtime seat (from 1814 to 1985) of the Brown family, whose members have been leaders of the Providence civic, social, and business community since the 17th century, and include nationally significant leaders of America's industrialization in the 19th century. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places and declared a National Historic Landmark in 1989.

The John Brown House is the first mansion built in Providence, Rhode Island, located at 52 Power Street on College Hill where it borders the campus of Brown University. The house is named after the original owner, one of the early benefactors of the university, merchant, statesman, and slave trader John Brown. It was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1968. John Quincy Adams considered it "the most magnificent and elegant private mansion that I have ever seen on this continent."

The Thomas P. Ives House is a National Historic Landmark at 66 Power Street in the College Hill in Providence, Rhode Island. Built in 1803–06, this brick house is an extremely well-preserved and little-altered example of Adamesque-Federal style. The house was built by Caleb Ormsbee, a Providence master builder, for Thomas Poynton Ives, a wealthy merchant. Although two of its principal chambers were redecorated in the 1870s, these alterations were reversed in the 1950s. The house was in Ives family hands for more than 150 years. It was designated a National Historic Landmark on December 30, 1970.

The Corliss–Carrington House is a National Historic Landmark house at 66 Williams Street in the College Hill neighborhood of Providence, Rhode Island. Built in 1812, it is significant as a high-quality and well-preserved example of an Adamesque-Federal style town house.

The Michael S. Van Leesten Memorial Bridge is a footbridge crossing the Providence River located in the city of Providence, Rhode Island. The bridge connects Providence's Fox Point neighborhood to the city's Jewelry District. Originally known as the Providence River Pedestrian Bridge, in July 2020 it was renamed in honor of Michael S. Van Leesten. The bridge was built on the piers which supported part of Interstate 195 prior to its relocation.

Annmary Brown Memorial is an art museum, library and mausoleum at Brown University. It is located at 21 Brown Street in Providence, Rhode Island. It is one of six libraries comprising the University Library system. Before merging with the university in 1948, the museum was founded as an independent collection by General Rush Hawkins and his wife, Annmary Brown. The Hawkinses are interred in a crypt at the building. The building was constructed in 1903 by architect Norman Isham. Today, the museum features a wide array of art from around the world.The building housed a well known collection of 450 incunabula for many years. In 1990, the collection was moved to the John Hay Library.

First Unitarian Church of Providence is an American Unitarian Universalist congregation located at the corner of Benefit and Benevolent Streets in Providence, Rhode Island. The congregation was founded in 1723, and the current church building was dedicated in 1816. For many years it was known as the First Congregational Church of Providence.

The Candace Allen House is a historic house located at 12 Benevolent Street in the College Hill neighborhood of Providence, Rhode Island. Named after Candace Allen (1785-1872) an older sister of Zachariah Allen, a prominent Providence mill-owner. The Federal style house was built in 1818–1820 by local architect John Holden Greene and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1973. It is a brick two-story building with a hip roof topped by a small monitor section. It is five bays wide, with a center entry sheltered by a portico supported by Corinthian columns, and an elliptical window above. The interior follows a typical central-hall plan, and has elaborate interior detail including marble mantels, a U-shape stairway, ceiling cornices, undercut moldings, and walnut doors with silver hardware.Candace Allen (1785-1872) was the older sister of Zachariah Allen, a prominent Providence mill-owner and inventor. Her fiancé was killed in the War of 1812, and she did not ever marry. The house was, as of its 1973 National Register listing, still in the hands of the Allen family.

The John Corliss House (or Kilton–Wilkinson House) is an historic house in Providence, Rhode Island. The house is a 2+1⁄2-story wood-frame structure with a gambrel roof, built c. 1746–1750 as a duplex, housing the families of Dinah Kilton and David Wilkinson. Both sides of the house were acquired by 1763 by George Corliss, who converted it to single-family use. The exterior has relatively plain Georgian styling, while the interior has been the subject of significant alteration, due to Corliss' alterations as well as later renovations. In the 20th century the property was used for commercial retail purposes, and some of its additions were eventually destroyed by fire. John Corliss, the son of George, was a prominent businessman who contributed significantly to the economic development of Providence in the decades around the turn of the 19th century. This house is one of the few pre-Revolutionary buildings to survive an 1801 fire in the area, and now sits somewhat incongruously in an area occupied mostly by larger commercial brick buildings.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974.

The Point Street Bridge is a movable bridge that crosses the Providence River in Providence, Rhode Island, carrying Point Street from the Jewelry District to Wickenden Street at the base of College Hill.
