Castiraga Vidardo borders the following municipalities: Salerano sul Lambro, Borgo San Giovanni, Caselle Lurani, Marudo, Sant'Angelo Lodigiano. The double name of this village comes from the two biggest frazioni, Castiraga da Reggio and Vidardo, previously part of the commune of Marudo.

The Parco Tecnologico Padano (meaning Padano Technology Park or Padano Technological Park in English), shortened as PTP, is a science park located in Lodi in the region of Lombardy, Italy. The aim of the park is the promotion of scientific research and technological transition in the fields of agri-food, life sciences and bioeconomics. A number of organizations operate within the PTP, including Faculties of Veterinary Medicine and Agricultural Sciences of the University of Milan and public and private research labs. PTP is the first scientific park in Italy active in the fields of food cultivation and bioeconomy. The Park also hosts an enterprise Incubator and a Business Park which make Lodi one of the main European Agro-Biotech Clusters.

Casalmaiocco borders the following municipalities: Mulazzano, Dresano, Vizzolo Predabissi, Tavazzano con Villavesco and Sordio.

Lodi railway station (Italian: Stazione di Lodi) serves the city and comune of Lodi, in the region of Lombardy, northern Italy. Launched 1861, it lies along the Milan–Bologna railway. The station is currently managed by Rete Ferroviaria Italiana (RFI). However, the commercial area of the passenger building is managed by Centostazioni. Train services are operated by Trenitalia, Trenitalia TPER (Emilia Romagna) and Trenord. Each of these companies is a subsidiary of Ferrovie dello Stato (FS), Italy's state-owned rail company.
