Heard Museum

Encanto/Central Avenue (also known as Heard Museum) is a light rail station on Valley Metro Rail in uptown Phoenix, Arizona, United States. It is the ninth stop southbound and the twenty-first stop northbound on the initial 20 mile starter line. The station is located on Central Avenue north of Encanto Boulevard directly in front of the Tapestry on Central condominium complex. The Heard Museum is located across the street from this station.

The Phoenix Towers were designed by Ralph C. Harris and built by Del E. Webb in Modern Movement style. The buildings, completed in 1957, are located a mile and a half north of downtown Phoenix at the corner of Central Avenue and Monte Vista Road. The main building is 14 stories with four wings forming an X. "Towers" may be misleading, as there is only one high-rise building, but 2 of the wings are much larger than the other two, giving an appearance of separate buildings. The other building included in the National Register of Historic Places site is a low-rise pool house. The projecting concrete ledges on the towers serve as both balconies and as awnings for the apartments below.The property borders the Heard Museum, which is just east on Monte Vista Road.The buildings were listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2008.

The Ashland Place Historic District is a single-family residential district in Phoenix, Arizona. It was one of the first speculative residential developments in Phoenix. The Period Revival and bungalow style residences were built in the 1920s by Home Builders, Inc. in association with realtors Greene and Griffin. Some houses were designed by Phoenix architect C. Lewis Kelley, the "Home Artist" for the builders, who is known for his Period Revivals styled houses. Ashland Place was added to the National Register of Historic Places on December 21, 1994.

The BMO Tower is a highrise in Midtown Phoenix, Arizona, also known as the Viad Corporate Center and formerly the Dial Tower. The tower was constructed in 1991 for the Dial Corporation, which is why the building resembles a bar of Dial soap. It was previously occupied by Viad, which spun off subsidiary Dial Corporation in 1996 but since 2016, the Bank of Montreal (BMO) has occupied most of the 483,741 sq ft (44,941.0 m2) office space. It rises 374 feet (114 meters) and 24 floors, and is currently the sixth tallest building in Phoenix. It was designed in the modern style by HKS, Inc. Originally, the tower was supposed to have a twin, rotated 90 degrees from the current tower, but due to the Savings and Loan Crisis of the 1980s and 1990s, the second tower was dropped. Today, the BMO Tower stands as one of Phoenix's most prominent skyscrapers. It is located across the street from the Phoenix Art Museum on Central Avenue just north of McDowell Road between Downtown Phoenix and Midtown Phoenix. The building features a large landscaped public park with many statues and fountains near the entrance. Completed in 1991, the BMO Tower was the last major skyscraper to be constructed in Midtown. In early 2016, BMO Harris Bank, N.A. (Canada's Bank of Montreal and Chicago's Harris Bank) moved into the Viad Tower, renamed the building to BMO Tower, and had a BMO logo placed atop the mid-town tower.

The Phoenix Theatre Company is a professional theatre company located in Phoenix, Arizona. Started in 1920 by a theatre troupe known as the Phoenix Players, the theatre is among the oldest continually operating theaters west of the Mississippi River. The theatre is a non-profit corporation and encompasses both the Mainstage and Hormel Theatre productions, as well as Partners That Heal and numerous community-focused programs.

The Phoenix Art Museum is the largest museum for visual art in the southwest United States. Located in Phoenix, Arizona, the museum is 285,000 square feet (26,500 m2). It displays international exhibitions alongside its comprehensive collection of more than 18,000 works of American, Asian, European, Latin American, Western American, modern and contemporary art, and fashion design. A community center since 1959, it hosts festivals, live performances, independent art films and educational programs year-round. It also features The Hub: The James K. Ballinger Interactive Gallery, an interactive space for children; photography exhibitions through the museum's partnership with the Center for Creative Photography; the landscaped Sculpture Garden; dining and shopping. Thomas/Central Avenue (also known as Midtown Phoenix) is a light rail station on Valley Metro Rail in Phoenix, Arizona, United States. It is the seventh stop southbound and the twenty-second stop northbound on the initial 20 mile starter line. The station is north of Thomas Road, and it can be accessed from both Thomas Road, at the south, and Catalina Drive, two blocks to the north. Catalina Drive is the south-boundary street for Park Central Mall.

You Who Are Getting Obliterated in the Dancing Swarm of Fireflies, also known as the Fireflies Infinity Mirror Room, is an art installation in Phoenix Art Museum by Yayoi Kusama. It is located in the museum's North Wing, on the first floor.

Phoenix Plaza is a mixed use office complex located in midtown Phoenix, Arizona. It was built between 1988 and 1990 at a cost of US$158 million. There is 1,600,000 square feet (150,000 m2) of office space plus 225 hotel rooms. Phoenix Plaza has three hi-rise office buildings, a large parking garage and a hotel tower. Two distinct design concepts can be seen. The façades of CenturyLink Tower, the parking structure and Hilton Suites are colored in the late 1980s design trend of combining the pastel hues of “dusty rose” with turquoise. Phoenix Plaza Towers One and Two are sleek, modern, highly polished and complement the desert inspired buildings, which share their site. The architect for the buildings was Langdon Wilson and Phoenix Plaza was developed by the Koll Company and BetaWest Properties, Inc.

The 6th Avenue Hotel - Windsor Hotel, now known as the New Windsor Hotel, is the only 19th century hotel which is still in use in the Phoenix, Arizona, original town-site. It is listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
