Gus' Pretzels is a pretzel bakery and snack counter in the Benton Park neighborhood of St. Louis, Missouri, United States. It was opened in 1920 by Frank Ramsperger. Gus' is a third generation family business owned by the Koebbe family. It is located at 1820 Arsenal Street near the Anheuser-Busch brewery.Fresh pretzels are emblematic of the German American culture and community that have been prominent in St Louis.It won a Family Business Award from the St. Louis Business Journal in 2019.Gus's Pretzels has been a baker for street vendors, though only a few remain.

St. Francis de Sales Church (the Oratory of Saint Francis de Sales) is a Roman Catholic Oratory located in south St. Louis, Missouri, United States. It is the second largest church in the Archdiocese of St. Louis after the cathedral-basilica. The church is popularly known as the "Cathedral of South St. Louis". The historic main church was designed in the neo-Gothic style. Its stained glass windows were crafted by the St. Louis glazier Emil Frei, Sr. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978. Since 2005 the church has been operated by the Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest, which practices the Latin liturgy and emphasizes the liturgical arts, with a strong music program.

The Lemp Neighborhood Arts Center (LNAC), also known as "The Lemp," is a non-profit performance space, art gallery, and community center located in the historic Benton Park neighborhood of St. Louis, Missouri. Since its founding in March 1994, the organization has been among the forefront of art spaces committed to the DIY ethic in St. Louis and the Midwest, holding the position as one of the oldest all-ages "Do-It-Yourself" music venues in the region and in the United States, alongside ABC No Rio in New York City, 924 Gilman Street in Berkeley, California, and the Ché Café in La Jolla, California.

The Chatillon–DeMenil Mansion, located at 3352 DeMenil Place in Benton Park, St. Louis, Missouri, was begun in 1848 for the pioneer Henry Chatillon, then enlarged to its present form by prominent St. Louis businessman Nicolas DeMenil from 1855 to 1863. The house serves as a house museum, and according to its nomination to the National Register of Historic Places, described "as being the finest example of Greek Revival architecture in the Midwest."

Anheuser-Busch Brewery is a brewery complex in St. Louis, Missouri.The brewery, opened in 1852 by German immigrant Adolphus Busch, is designated as a National Historic Landmark District. The Anheuser-Busch Brewery public tours offer hundreds of tourists the chance to experience culture native to St. Louis daily. The paid tour takes visitors through the complex, and those of the legal age can drink an included glass of an Anheuser-Busch product in the Hospitality Room after the tour. Tourists can see beer being made and packaged in a working part of the brewery. The Lyon Schoolhouse Museum is also on the grounds at the Anheuser-Busch Brewery. It is considered to be one of oldest school buildings in St Louis it served as the head offices of the brewery after 1907. The museum contains rare mementos gathered from the founding of the company to current day, including pictures of the brewery and its expansion over the years. Some of the tours visit this historic museum and can sample some of the many Budwieser products produced. The company keeps a rotation of its Budweiser Clydesdales at its headquarters; the historic draft horses were originally used to pull wagons carrying beer in the 19th-century days of the company and are now one of the recognizable symbols of the brand. Visitors to the brewery can observe the Clydesdales in their exercise field and see their places in the carriage house. Some of the herd is kept at the company farm in St. Louis County. Known as Grant's Farm (having been owned by former President Ulysses S. Grant at one time), this complex is also home to other animals such as elephants, tortoises, and a variety of mammals. Since 2008, approximately half of the Budweiser Clydesdales have been kept at the Warm Springs Ranch near Booneville, Missouri. The brewery was designated a U.S. National Historic Landmark in 1966, recognizing the company's place in the history of beer brewing and distribution in the United States. The landmarked area includes 189 structures spread over 142 acres (57 ha), including many red brick Romanesque ones "with square crenelated towers and elaborate details." The Brew House, built in 1891-1892, is particularly notable for its "multi-storied hop chandeliers, intricate iron-work, and utilization of natural light".

The Lemp Mansion (3322 DeMenil Place, St. Louis, Missouri) is a historical house in Benton Park, St. Louis, Missouri. It is also the site of three suicides by Lemp family members after the death of the son Frederick Lemp, whose William J. Lemp Brewing Co. dominated the St. Louis beer market before Prohibition with its Falstaff beer brand. The mansion is said to be haunted by members of the Lemp family.

McKinley Heights is a historic conservation neighborhood located in the near South Side of the City of St. Louis. It was rated as a Top 10 Neighborhood for young adults in the St. Louis metropolitan area. The neighborhood is bounded by I-44 to the north, Jefferson Avenue to the west, and I-55 and Gravois Boulevard to the east and south. There are restaurants and entertainment in the adjacent Soulard and Lafayette Square neighborhoods. Three bus routes provide a commute downtown or throughout the City. McKinley Classical Leadership Academy (also known as McKinley High School) is a magnet middle and high school for gifted and talented students in St. Louis, Missouri. It is part of the St. Louis Public Schools district. McKinley opened in 1904 as the first comprehensive public high school in south St. Louis and closed in 1988. The school has been operating as a magnet middle school since the 1990s. It reopened as a high school in 2007. It graduated nine students in May of 2011.

Fox Park is a neighborhood of St. Louis, Missouri. The neighborhood borders are Jefferson Avenue to the east, Interstate 44 to the north, Gravois Avenue to the south and Nebraska Avenue to the west. Surrounding neighborhoods include the Gate District, Compton Heights, Tower Grove East, Benton Park West and McKinley Heights. The neighborhood's most distinctive feature is St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church, located at the corner of Ohio Avenue and Gravois Avenue. Its 300-foot-tall (91 m) steeple is visible for miles around and has lent the church the nickname of "The Cathedral of South Saint Louis".

The Lemp Brewery was a beer brewing company established in 1840 in St. Louis, Missouri that was acquired by the Griesedieck Beverage Company in 1920, which subsequently became the Falstaff Brewing Corporation. The brewery complex property consists of 27 buildings on a 13.7-acre (0.055 km2) site in the Marine Villa neighborhood. St. Louisian Steve DeBellis has been the owner of the Lemp Brewing Company trademark since 1988.
