Heikant, Oosterhout

St. Paul's Abbey, Oosterhout, also Oosterhout Abbey (Dutch: Sint-Paulusabdij) is a former Benedictine abbey in Oosterhout, North Brabant, the Netherlands.

Oosterhout (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈoːstərɦʌut] ; from ooster, "eastern", and hout, "woods") is a municipality and a city in the southern Netherlands. The municipality had a population of 56,206 in 2021.

The Donge is a small river in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It rises from springs east of Baarle-Nassau as a stream called Leij. Near Tilburg the name changes to Donge. It passes the village of Dongen and flows north to the town of Geertruidenberg where it's continued by the Amer together with the Bergse Maas. Its length is 35 km.

Heikant is a former hamlet in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It was located in the municipality of Gilze en Rijen, about 1 km west of the centre of Rijen.According to the 19th-century historian A.J. van der Aa, Heikant (or "De Heikant") consisted of 8 houses and had a population of 60 in the middle of the 19th century. Heikant was still named as a separate hamlet in 1997, but nowadays it no longer exists: a residential neighbourhood of the town of Rijen now covers the area. Heikant should not be confused with any of the other hamlets named Heikant in the Netherlands.

Raamsdonksveer is a town in the Dutch municipality of Geertruidenberg, North Brabant. It lies on the east side of the Donge opposite Geertruidenberg. It is a regional center of commerce and industry. Raamsdonksveer lies between Oosterhout and Hank

Baarschot (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈbaːr.sxɔt]; Brabantian: Baorschot) is a hamlet in the municipality of Oosterhout in the province of North Brabant in the Netherlands. It is located in the south of the municipality between Breda and Dorst, the latter of which it is a part administratively. It has approximately 50 inhabitants.

Gilze en Rijen (Dutch pronunciation: [ˌɣɪlzə ʔɛn ˈrɛiə(n)] ) is a municipality in the southern Netherlands. The municipality contains four villages: Rijen, Gilze, Hulten and Molenschot. It is home to the Gilze-Rijen Air Base. Rijen grew in the 19th century due to its leather factories.
