Huntfield Heights used to be the southern half of Hackham West. In the late 1990s it was renamed, after former Noarlunga mayor Walter Morris Hunt.

The suburb is the home of Hickinbotham Oval, the home ground of the South Adelaide Football Club who play in the South Australian National Football League (SANFL). The oval was officially opened as Noarlunga Oval in 1995. It has a spectator capacity of 12,000 and includes television standard lights for night games. The Panthers Club also houses entertainment, bar, gaming and restaurant facilities.

Hackham West is an outer southern suburb of Adelaide, South Australia. It is located in the City of Onkaparinga.

Hackham railway station was a railway station on the Willunga railway line serving Hackham, Australia. The station had a raised passenger platform during the passenger transport days of this line. The crossing was protected by flashing lights. The entire line was dismantled in 1972 and the stop is now a picnic stop on the Coast to Vines Rail Trail.

The recreation park which was established in 1985 is approximately 32 km (20 mi) from Adelaide city centre. It is the venue for recreational activities such as walking, canoeing, kayaking, recreational fishing and picnics.

Noarlunga is a closed railway station in Adelaide, South Australia. It was an unattended crossing station, with water available. The ticket agency was closed in 1946. The stop is now completely disused, the entire Willunga railway line having been dismantled in 1972 and is now the route of the Coast to Vines Rail Trail.

Colonnades Shopping Centre is a shopping centre in Adelaide, South Australia. The shopping centre is located in the City of Onkaparinga, in the suburb of Noarlunga Centre. Colonnades is located on a large allotment of land with access from Goldsmith Drive, Beach Road and Burgess Road. Colonnades is currently the 3rd largest shopping centre in metropolitan Adelaide behind both Westfield Marion and Westfield Tea Tree Plaza. Since opening the centre has seen multiple expansions including the most recent being a $51m expansion adding an Aldi and more market feel area.

Hickinbotham Oval (currently known as Flinders University Stadium due to naming rights, and originally Noarlunga Oval) is an Australian rules football stadium in Noarlunga Downs, an outer-southern suburb of Adelaide. It has been the home of South Australian National Football League (SANFL) club South Adelaide Football Club (also known as "The Panthers") since 1995. In 2018 the ground was re-named Flinders University Stadium, as part of a five-year sponsorship deal with Flinders University.After 111 years (in two stints, 1882-1903 and 1904-1994) of playing their home games at the Adelaide Oval, (which is located on the northern side of the Adelaide city centre and the Torrens River), the club decided to move to the southern suburb of Noarlunga in the early 1990s. The club had played two games at the Bice Oval in Christies Beach (approximately 1.5km from Hickinbotham) in 1992 and 1993 in order to gauge support in the area for the club. Approximately 8,000 fans crammed into the oval in 1993 to see the Panthers take on the Glenelg Tigers. That level of community support was one of the determining factors in South Adelaide's decision to permanently move to Noarlunga, becoming a community based club for the first time in its then 119-year history. The Panthers clubrooms and administration offices, which had previously been located on South Road at St Marys (directly opposite the then Mitsubishi Motors factory at Tonsley Park), were also relocated to the Noarlunga Oval.

The City of Noarlunga, formerly the District Council of Noarlunga, was a local government area in South Australia from 1856 until 1997.
