Martins Heron is a suburb of Bracknell 25 miles (40 km) west of London in Berkshire, England. Martins Heron and the neighbouring suburb The Warren are after a Parliamentary Boundary review in the Bracknell constituency – until 2010 they were in the Windsor Constituency. It is in Harmans Water ward, which also includes parts of Bullbrook, and The Parks.The name does not in fact have anything to do with the avian heron but stems from the obsolete word hern, meaning nook or corner of land. The area is bordered by Bracknell to the west and large wooded areas, notably Swinley Woods on the east and Lily Hill Park to the north.

Jennett's Park is a suburb of Bracknell in the English county of Berkshire. It is a recent development with the first residents moving there in 2007. It is in Great Hollands North ward of Bracknell Forest Council.The development lies approximately 1.5 miles (2.4 km) south west of the town centre, to the south of the A329 road close to its junction with the A329(M) and near Great Hollands and Amen Corner. A new roundabout was built on the A329 for access.At the heart of the development, in Tawny Owl Square, is Jennett's Park Church of England Primary School as well as a Community Centre . Both were officially opened in October 2011. The Community Centre is owned by the local authority (Bracknell Forest) but is leased to and managed by Jennett's Park Community Association. The centre has one of the largest halls in the local area. The former Peacock Farm on Peacock Lane has been redeveloped into a public house and restaurant, The Peacock Farm. All the streets in the estate are named after birds to reflect this heritage. In October 2014 local councillor Michael Gbadebo announced that contracts had been exchanged between Redrow Homes and BBS Kirkby for the retail unit at Jennett's Park and, in time, they would have an agreement with Morrisons to operate the store once it had been built. Building work on the retail unit started at the end of January 2016. After extended delays two units were leased by the Co-operative Group – the convenience store opened on 7 December 2018 whilst the remaining unit was sublet by Co-op to Sears Property, a family-owned and run estate agency with branches in Bracknell and Jennett's Park, in mid 2019. The main Jennett's Park development has two small plots that remain undeveloped at the moment – planning permission has been granted for flats, houses and a retail unit to be built next to the Co-op store whilst planning permission for a private children's nursery on the grassed area next to the Community Centre was refused in 2019 after a number of objections by residents. St Francis and St Clare is the local family church and holds services each week at 11.30am in the school's hall – a new vicar has recently been appointed and is due to start in July 2020. The main parish church is St Michael and St Mary Magdelene situated on Crowthorne Road, Easthampstead. Jennett's Park Church of England School is an aided Church of England school in the Diocese of Oxford. On 1 June 2017 the school became an academy under the Bonitas Trust Multi-Academy Trust. The school is a full 2 year entry from Reception through to Year 6. The current head is Elizabeth Savage. The school has an active PTA hosting many events and raising much needed funds each year.

Forest Park is a suburb of Bracknell, in Berkshire, England. It and Crown Wood are in Crown Wood ward and named after the Crown Estate of Swinley Forest. It was built in the late 1980s as the town continued to expand. The estate lies east of the A322 road and is approximately 1.2 miles (1.9 km) south-east of Bracknell town centre. Facilities include a shopping centre, community centre [1], The Woodcutters public house and a Tesco Express. Savernake Pond offers walking and a play area [2].

Bullbrook is a suburb of Bracknell , in the English county of Berkshire, formerly part of the parish of Winkfield. It is named after the Bull Brook which runs through the area, although most of the brook now runs underground in culverts. Bullbrook is one of the earlier estates of Bracknell and was built in the late 1950s. The estate lies largely north of the A329 road and its borders begin immediately east of Bracknell town centre. The section between the A329 and the railway line, Bullbrook 4, is now part of Harmans Water ward following boundary changes in 2003.Facilities include a small shopping centre, a community centre, several public houses and Holly Spring school. Lily Hill Park is an extensive area of woodland and historic parkland. Within the park is Lily Hill House, built between 1814 and 1817 and now used as a business centre.The eastern industrial area is a business area. The Royal Berkshire Bracknell Clinic is at Brants Bridge.Kezia Obama, the stepmother of United States President Barack Obama, was a resident of Bullbrook until her death in 2021.

Harmans Water is a suburb of Bracknell, in the English county of Berkshire, formerly part of the parish of Winkfield. It takes its name from Harman's Water Lake, long gone. Building of the estate began around 1960 and was the fourth and last estate to be built as part of the original plan for the new town. The estate lies approximately 1 mile (1.6 km) south-east of the town centre, to the east of the A322 road and south of the A329 road. It is in Harmans Water ward, which following boundary changes now includes parts of Bullbrook, Martins Heron and The Parks.Facilities include a shopping centre, a library, several public houses and Harmans Water Primary School [1]. St. Pauls Church has shared Church of England and United Reformed Church services and is situated adjacent to the shopping centre. There are a few office buildings in Broad Lane but otherwise the estate is largely residential.

Swinley Park and Brick Pits is an 88.7-hectare (219-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest east of Bracknell in Berkshire, United Kingdom. It is part of the Crown Estate.The park is mainly a conifer plantation with scattered ancient oaks, sweet chestnuts and beech trees. Decaying trees have many rare species of insect. Swinley Brick Pits have several small pools which provide a habitat for dragonflies and waterfowl, as well as breeding sites for all three species of newts and a colony of marsh clubmoss.There is access to the park from New Forest Ride.

The RAF Staff College at Bracknell was a Royal Air Force staff college active for most of the second half of the 20th century. Its role was the training of staff officers in the administrative, staff and policy aspects of air force matters. Its motto was Visu et Nisu which is Latin for by vision and effort. The equivalent in the British Army was the Staff College, Camberley and the equivalent in the Royal Navy was the Royal Naval Staff College, Greenwich.

Crown Wood is a south-eastern estate of Bracknell in the English county of Berkshire, and formerly part of the parish of Winkfield. Crown Wood was built during the late 1970s and is bounded in by Forest Park to the east, Harmans Water to the north and Birch Hill to the west and is east of the A322 Bagshot Road. It and Forest Park are in Crown Wood ward and named after the Crown Estate of Swinley Forest.Facilities include a shopping centre, The Crown Wood public house, a community centre [1] Archived 15 August 2017 at the Wayback Machine doctors' surgery and Crown Wood Primary School [2].

Heathfield School is a girls' independent boarding and day school in Ascot, Berkshire, England. In 2006, the school absorbed St Mary's School, Wantage and was briefly named Heathfield St Mary's School but reverted to Heathfield School in 2009 to prevent confusion with another local girls' school St Mary's School, Ascot. The school's grounds cover 36 acres (15 ha) situated on the edge of Ascot (actually in Bracknell Forest), providing access from London, the major airports, the M3 and M4 motorways.

Whitegrove or Warfield Green is a suburb of Bracknell in the English county of Berkshire. It stands within the bounds of the civil parish of Warfield.

Chavey Down is a hamlet partly in Ascot, Berkshire, England, and part of the civil parish of Winkfield. The settlement lies near to the A329 road, and is situated approximately 1 mile (1.6 km) west of Ascot Racecourse. It is located within the borough of Bracknell Forest and lies south-west of Windsor. Chavey Down village predominantly lies between Priory Road and Longhill Road where the two roads join at the top of the village at the beginning of Locks Ride. In between the two roads are Church Road and North Road, consisting mainly of houses dating from the late 19th and early 20th century. The land in between the two roads, which now consists of the house's gardens is called Spike Island. This name apparently goes back a few hundred years. The Sand Pit: At the junction of Priory and Longhill Roads lies the remnants of a large sand pit. The whole area is built on sand and on the other of the A329 London Road, Englemere Pond and Swinley Forest are large areas of sand based woodland and forest. The sand pit was active for many years in the 19th and 20th centuries but closed in the early 1960s. As the pit was so deep the lorries that used to move the sand around were left buried when it was filled in because it was not economical to extricate them.
