Hyde Park, Boston

Hyde Park station is an MBTA Commuter Rail station in Boston, Massachusetts. It primarily serves the Providence/Stoughton Line, and also serves rush-hour Franklin/Foxboro Line trains. It is located on the Northeast Corridor in the Hyde Park neighborhood. Hyde Park's two platforms serve the outer tracks of the Northeast Corridor, which is three tracks wide through the station; all Amtrak trains to and from Boston pass through the station without stopping. The station is officially located at 1 Pingree Street; however, both platforms are accessible from the River Street bridge via a pair of lengthy ramps. Both platforms are at track level for most of their lengths; however, short high-level platforms provide accessibility on both sides.

Christ Church, officially The Parish of Christ Church, Hyde Park is a historic church building built in 1893 at 1220 River Street in Hyde Park, Massachusetts, a neighborhood of Boston. It is a parish of the Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts. Christ Church was the second church building designed by Ralph Adams Cram (after the nearby All Saints' Church, Ashmont), who went on to design many church buildings, notably the Cathedral of St. John the Divine, New York City. The church was built in 1893 and added to the National Historic Register in 1986.

Mother Brook is a stream that flows from the Charles River in Dedham, Massachusetts, to the Neponset River in the Hyde Park section of Boston, Massachusetts. Mother Brook was also known variously as East Brook and Mill Creek in earlier times. Digging the brook made Boston and some surrounding communities an island, accessible only by crossing over water, making Mother Brook "Massachusetts' Panama Canal."Dug by English settlers in 1639 to power a grist mill, it is the oldest such canal in North America. Mother Brook was important to Dedham as its only source of water power for mills, from 1639 into the early 20th century.Today, Mother Brook is part of a flood-control system that diverts water from the Charles River to the Neponset River. The brook's flow is under the control of the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation and is used for flood control on the Charles. There are three remaining dams on the stream, plus a movable floodgate that controls flow from the Charles into Mother Brook. The brook has given its name to the modern day Mother Brook Community Group, the Mother Brook Arts and Community Center, Riverside Theatre Works, and the erstwhile Mother Brook Club and Mother Brook Coalition.

The First Congregational Church of Hyde Park, now the Hyde Park Seventh-day Adventist Church, is a historic Congregational church at 6 Webster Street in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. It was designed by the Boston architectural firm of Kilham & Hopkins, with stained glass by Charles Connick. It is a fine local example of Gothic Revival architecture, built for Hyde Park's second-oldest congregation (established 1860) in 1910.The church was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999.It is now used by the Hyde Park Seventh-day Adventist Church. The SDA church purchased the property in 2007. On December 15, 2007, the day of the church's dedication, there were 304 members

Fairmount station is an MBTA Commuter Rail station in Boston, Massachusetts. It serves the Fairmount Line. It is located in the Hyde Park area, under the Fairmount Avenue overpass. Fairmount station opened in 1979 during Southwest Corridor reconstruction; intended to be temporary, it eventually became a permanent stop.

Boston Renaissance Charter Public School (BRCPS), formerly Boston Renaissance Charter School (BRCS), is a charter elementary school in Hyde Park, Boston, Massachusetts. It is one of the oldest charter schools in Boston, and as of 2012 BRCPS was also one of the largest charter schools in the city. In 2001 it was the largest American charter school that operated out of a single campus, and in 2005 it was the largest charter school in the state of Massachusetts. Overall it was one of the largest charter schools in the United States. It formerly served middle school grades but now only serves elementary school.

St. Adalbert Parish, in Hyde Park, Massachusetts, United States, was a Catholic parish designated for Polish immigrants in the Archdiocese of Boston. The church was closed in 2011. The architect for the 1450 River Street church was Harrison H. Atwood of Boston.

Hyde Park High School was a four-year public high school that served students in ninth through twelfth grades in the Boston neighborhood of Hyde Park, Massachusetts, United States. The school held its first classes in 1869, one year after the founding of the town of Hyde Park. The school was located at 655 Metropolitan Avenue from 1928 until its closure in 2005.

The Truman Parkway is a historic parkway in Milton and southern Boston, Massachusetts. It runs along the southern boundary of a portion of the Neponset River Reservation and serves as a connection between the Neponset Valley Parkway and the Blue Hills Parkway. The parkway was built in 1931 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.
