Kurth Brewery

The Frances Kurth Sharrow House is a historic house located at 841 Park Avenue in Columbus, Wisconsin. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on May 24, 2010.

The Adolphus and Sarah Ingalsbe House is located in Columbus, Wisconsin, United States. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2009. Additionally, it is listed on the Wisconsin State Register of Historic Places.

The Columbus School District encompasses an area of approximately 135 miles (217 km) in Columbia, Dodge and Dane counties. Located in the south central Wisconsin city of Columbus, the district is approximately 70 miles (110 km) northwest of Milwaukee, 30 miles (48 km) northeast of Madison and 30 miles (48 km) southeast of Portage.

The Columbus Fireman's Park Complex consists of the Pavilion, a historic building used for many years and built by hand, the Rest Haven a building where people could use a resting place during a journey, and the Boys Scout Cabin and two gates into the complex in Fireman's Park in Columbus, Wisconsin, United States. Fireman's Park became a Columbus city park in 1915, and the city's fire department developed the park as a community project. The park's pavilion opened in 1917; while mainly used for community dances, the pavilion also hosted a variety of other events. Another building in the park, known as Rest Haven, opened in 1923. This building, a Prairie School structure designed by Alfred C. Clas, was used for cooking and sanitation by the many auto tourists who visited the park. The west wall and gate of the park were built in 1917 and are also part of the historic site. The park buildings were added to the National Register of Historic Places on February 25, 2004.

The Columbus Post Office is the main post office in Columbus, Wisconsin. The post office was built in 1938 by the Public Works Administration and opened in 1939. The brick building was designed in the Art Moderne style. Arnold Blanch painted a mural in the post office in 1940 to honor the founding of Columbus; the mural includes the city's first log cabin settlement, farmers and grains from the area, and depictions of typical 1930s residents of the city. The post office was added to the National Register of Historic Places on October 24, 2000.

The Columbus City Hall was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.It was designed by architect Truman Dudley Allen.

Columbus Senior High School (CHS) is a public secondary school in Columbus, Wisconsin. Part of the Columbus School District, the school had an enrollment of 381 in 2013. In addition to traditional high school offerings, Columbus High School students also have the opportunity to choose from electives in the areas of technology education, agri-science, business education, world languages and the arts, plus a host of co-curricular offerings.

The George Griswold House is located in Columbus, Wisconsin, United States. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2009. Additionally, it is listed on the Wisconsin State Register of Historic Places.

The Prairie Street Historic District is a residential historic district in Columbus, Wisconsin. The district consists of thirty-nine houses, two carriage houses, and a church along a five-block section of West Prairie Street. The oldest house in the district was built circa 1860, while the most recent was built in 1936. The district is noted for its architectural diversity, a product of the large original lots being subdivided over time and contemporary houses being built on the new lots. Architectural styles represented in the district include Italianate, Queen Anne, Stick Style, Victorian Gothic, American Craftsman, Colonial Revival, Tudor Revival, and Georgian Revival. The district includes works by Milwaukee architects Edward Townsend Mix, Henry C. Koch, and Van Ryn & DeGelleke.The district was added to the State Register of Historic Places in 1998 and to the National Register of Historic Places the following year. One house in the district, the Tudor Revival F. A. Chadbourn House, is listed individually on the NRHP.

The Columbus Public Library is a Carnegie library in Columbus, Wisconsin. The library was built in 1912 after the Columbus Women's Civic Club convinced the Carnegie Foundation to sponsor a building for the community's library program. Claude and Starck, a Madison architectural firm known for designing libraries, planned the Prairie School building. The library is still in operation; in addition to library services, the building also held Women's Civic Club meetings and various other community meetings. On November 15, 1990, the library was added to the National Register of Historic Places.

The Farmers and Merchants Union Bank is a historic commercial building at 159 West James Street in Columbus, Wisconsin. Built in 1919, it is the last of eight "jewel box" bank buildings designed by Louis Sullivan, and the next to last to be constructed. It was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1976 for its architecture.

Columbus is a city in Columbia County, Wisconsin (mostly) and Dodge County, Wisconsin Counties in the south-central part of the U.S. state of Wisconsin. The population was 5,540 at the 2020 census. All of this population resided in the Columbia County portion of the city. Columbus is located about 28 miles (45 km) northeast of Madison on the Crawfish River. The Columbia County portion of the city lies within the Madison Metropolitan Statistical Area while the Dodge County portion is a part of the Milwaukee-Waukesha-Racine CSA. Nearly all of the city is located within the town of Columbus in Columbia County, though a small portion lies within the town of Elba in Dodge County.
