Foulsham is a village and civil parish in the English county of Norfolk. The village is located 7.40 miles (11.91 km) north-east of Dereham and 16 miles (26 km) north-west of Norwich. Foulsham is renowned in the local area for its unspoilt nature and the number of Sixteenth and Seventeenth Century buildings.

Twyford is a hamlet and civil parish in the English county of Norfolk. It is situated on the A1067 road, some 12 km (7.5 mi) south-east of the town of Fakenham and 28 km (17 mi) north-west of the city of Norwich.The civil parish has an area of 2.13 km2 (0.82 sq mi) and in the 2001 census had a population of 26 in 14 households. At the 2011 Census the population remained less than 100 and was included in the civil parish of Guist. For the purposes of local government, the parish falls within the Upper Wensum Ward of Breckland District Council and the Elmham and Mattishall Division of Norfolk County Council. The name Twyford derives from the Anglo Saxon and means 'double ford'. There are several other places called Twyford. Twyford Hall is a Grade II listed 17th-century country house, situated on the A1067 to the north of the hamlet.St Nicholas's Church dates from Saxon times with a tower and porch from 1732 and later remodelling. The church is run as part of the heart of Norfolk group of rural parishes, with clergy based in North Elmham.

Beck Hall, Bec Hall or Bek Hall is a grade II listed 18th-century farmhouse in Billingford, Breckland, Norfolk, England. It is believed to be on the site of a former "hospital" or "hospice" (i.e. a hostel) adjacent to the Chapel of St Paul. The hospital was founded by William of Bec (or Beck): records go back before 1224 (in the reign of King Henry III). The hospital was dedicated to St Thomas of Canterbury. An early resident of Bec was Alanus Elfwold (1248).The hospital (moated) was on the main road between Norwich and Walsingham and was intended for the lodging for a single night of 13 poor travellers as they made their pilgrimage to the shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham. The hospital was, at an early date in its history, well endowed with the manors of Beck, Billingford, and Howe, and with certain lands and rents in upwards of thirty Norfolk parishes. The hospital appears to have become a residence and may have been leased by The Church authorities before the Dissolution of the Monasteries. In the second half of the 15th century at least three generations of the Curson (or Curzon) family, descendants of the Kedleston family, held Beck Hall in Norfolk.With the dissolution in the mid-16th century the property was granted to Sir John Perrot.

It is located 10 km (6.2 mi) east of Fakenham and 30 km (19 mi) north-west of Norwich.The village's name means "North farm/settlement". "Wood" distinguishes it from Pudding Norton.The civil parish has an area of 6.99 km2 (2.70 sq mi) and in the 2001 census had a population of 221 in 94 households, reducing slightly to 217 at the 2011 Census. For the purposes of local government, the parish falls within the district of North Norfolk. For Westminster elections to the House of Commons, Wood Norton lies within the Broadland constituency.

Bawdeswell is a small rural village and civil parish in Norfolk, England. At the time of the 2011 census it had a population of 828 and an area of 487 hectares. The village is situated almost in the centre of Norfolk about 14 miles (23 km) northwest of Norwich. For the purposes of local government it falls within the Upper Wensum Ward of Breckland District Council and the Elmham and Mattishall Division of Norfolk County Council. It is on a Roman road that ran east–west between Durobrivae near modern Peterborough and Smallburgh, crossing the Fen Causeway. The village is recorded in the Domesday Book as Balderwella. It was the home of Chaucer's Reeve in The Reeve's Prologue and Tale in the Canterbury Tales. Its parish church, All Saints', was rebuilt after its Victorian church was destroyed in World War II when hit by a crashing de Havilland Mosquito bomber.

Themelthorpe is a civil parish in the English county of Norfolk, 3 miles (4.8 km) north-east of Reepham. It covers an area of 1.04 sq mi (2.7 km2) and had a population of 65 in 27 households at the 2001 census. For the purposes of local government, it lies within the district of Broadland.

Foxley Wood is a nature reserve in Foxley, Norfolk, England, the largest ancient woodland and coppice in Norfolk. The Norfolk Wildlife Trust, which manages this reserve, bought it in 1998. It is 123 hectares (300 acres) in size. It is a Site of Special Scientific Interest, a Nature Conservation Review site, Grade 2, and a National Nature Reserve.
