Aylsham North railway station

Aylsham High School is a secondary school in the market town of Aylsham north of Norwich, in the English county of Norfolk. It has around 1,000 pupils ranging in age from 11 to 16. Duncan Spalding is the head teacher. The school catchment area includes the town of Aylsham and surrounding villages, including Aldborough, Buxton, Colby, Erpingham and Marsham.In May 2011 the school was judged to be overall "outstanding" by Ofsted, the English school inspections service. As of its most recent Ofsted report, the school has received a rating of "good".

Aylsham Town Hall is a municipal building in the Market Place in Aylsham, Norfolk, England. The structure, which accommodates the offices and meeting place of Aylsham Town Council, is a grade II listed building.

The Church of St Michael and All Angels, Aylsham, Norfolk, is a church of medieval origins that was built in the 14th century under the patronage of John of Gaunt, lord of the manor of Aylsham. The church remains an active parish church and is a Grade I listed building.

The Aylsham Bypass Tunnel is the only railway tunnel in Norfolk, England currently open to trains. It carries the narrow gauge Bure Valley Railway under the Aylsham Bypass. The former Norfolk & Suffolk Joint Railway's Cromer Tunnel at Cromer is disused.The original East Norfolk Railway crossed Bure Valley Lane at this point, by means of a level crossing, but the combination of heavy traffic and small steam trains is not encouraged in modern transport policies.

Aylsham ( or ) is a historic market town and civil parish on the River Bure in north Norfolk, England, nearly 9 mi (14 km) north of Norwich. The river rises near Melton Constable, 11 miles (18 km) upstream from Aylsham and continues to Great Yarmouth and the North Sea, although it was only made navigable after 1779, allowing grain, coal and timber to be brought up river. The town is close to large estates and grand country houses at Blickling, Felbrigg, Mannington and Wolterton, which are important tourist attractions. The civil parish has an area of 4,329 acres (17.52 km2) and in the 2001 census had a population of 5,504 increasing to a population of 6,016 at the 2011 census. For the purposes of local government, the parish falls within the district of Broadland.

Blickling is a village and civil parish in the Broadland district of Norfolk, England, about 1.5 miles (2.4 km) north-west of Aylsham. In the 2011 census, it had a population of 113 and covered 862 hectares (2,130 acres), before dropping to 110 residents as of the 2021 census. Since the 17th century the village has been concentrated in two areas, around the church and also at the park gates of Blickling Hall. Most of the village is contained in the Blickling Estate, which has been owned by the National Trust since 1940. The villages name means 'Blicla's people'.
