Camellia is a suburb of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. Primarily industrial with no residential population, environmental remediation commenced in late 2015, with the suburb ear-marked as a major centre for future high density living.Camellia is located 17 kilometres (11 mi) west of the Sydney central business district in the local government area of the City of Parramatta. The suburb is bounded by the Parramatta River to the north, Clay Cliff Creek to the west, Duck River to the east, and Grand Avenue. Major roads dissecting the suburb are Grand Avenue (east-west) and James Ruse Drive (north-south). Camellia shares the postcode of 2142 with the separate suburbs of Granville, South Granville, Holroyd and Rosehill.

Elizabeth Farm is an historic estate located at 70 Alice Street, Rosehill, a suburb of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Elizabeth Farm was the family home of wool pioneer, John and his wife Elizabeth Macarthur. The estate was commenced in 1793 on a slight hill overlooking the upper reaches of Parramatta River, 23 kilometres (14 mi) west of Sydney Cove. The Burramattagal clan of the Dharug people are the traditional custodians of the area; their presence is recalled in the name Parramatta. The small, solid three-roomed brick cottage in the Australian Old Colonial style was transformed, by the late 1820s, into a smart country house, surrounded by 'pleasure grounds', orchards and almost 400 hectares (1,000 acres) of semi-cleared land. Enveloped within later extensions, the early cottage remains intact, making it Australia's oldest surviving European dwelling. The estate is managed by Sydney Living Museums as a museum that is open to the public for a modest fee. On 2 April 1999 the estate was listed on the New South Wales State Heritage Register, the first property entered on the register.

The Rosehill Gardens Racecourse is located in the Western Sydney suburb of Rosehill, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. It is operated by the Australian Turf Club. Rosehill holds horse races for thoroughbred gallopers on a grass surface. It is one of the two premier racecourses in Sydney, the other one being Randwick Racecourse. One of the main events held at Rosehill is the Golden Slipper race for two-year-olds. The track has a circumference of 2,048 metres (6,719 ft) with a home straight of 408 metres (1,339 ft).

Hardies Platform was a railway station on the Sandown railway line in the then-industrial suburb of Camellia in Sydney, Australia. It opened 4 April 1938 and served a nearby factory owned by James Hardie Industries. On 18 June 1959, the original platform was replaced by a new one located on the up track on the Sandown side of the Grand Avenue level crossing. Passenger services on the Sandown line, and hence to Hardies, ceased on 19 December 1991.Hardie was among a number of companies that had private sidings on the line. These were named Hardies Asbestos Siding (originally the Asbestos Slate and Sheet Manufacturing Siding), which opened on 25 October 1916, and Hardies Asbestos Siding No. 2, which opened on 1 May 1926. Both sidings were connected separately to the line and were removed on 13 November 1990.

Elizabeth Farm Reserve is a heritage-listed public reserve on former farmland associated with Elizabeth Farm, located at Arthur Street, Rosehill, City of Parramatta, New South Wales, Australia. The property is owned by Parramatta City Council. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.

Sewage Pumping Station 67 is a heritage-listed sewage pumping station located on Grand Avenue, in the Sydney suburb of Camellia, in the City of Parramatta local government area of New South Wales, Australia. It was designed and built by the Metropolitan Water, Sewerage and Drainage Board from 1929 to 1930. It is also known as SPS 67 and SP0067. The pumping station is owned by Sydney Water. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 15 November 2002.

Camellia railway station, originally Subiaco railway station, was a railway station in Sydney, Australia, that was open between 1885 and 2020. It was located on the Carlingford line, serving the suburb of Camellia and at the time of closure was served by Sydney Trains T6 Carlingford line services.

Goodyear Platform was a railway station on the Sandown railway line in the then-industrial suburb of Camellia in Sydney, Australia. It opened in January 1934 and served the Goodyear tyre factory in Camellia. The closure of Goodyear station preceded the closure of Hardies and Sandown.Goodyear was among a number of companies that had private sidings on the line.

Hambledon Cottage is a heritage-listed former residence and now house museum at 47 Hassall Street, Harris Park, City of Parramatta, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. The cottage was built from 1821 to 1825, with the initial section being designed by Henry Kitchen. It is also known as Firholme, Valley Cottage and Macarthur Cottage. The property is owned by Parramatta City Council. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 21 September 2012.
