Kensington bushland reserve is a significant remnant of Swan Coastal Plain vegetation, that has been reserved in the suburb of Kensington, in Perth, Western Australia, by the state government.It is located west of Kent Street Senior High School, and lies on the north side of Kent Street. The portion of Jarrah Road that defined the western boundary of the reserve is a cul de sac, known as Baron Hay Court. Across the road is a Department of Agriculture complex. It is bounded to the north by Harold Rossiter Park, and George Reserve and has an area of 9.1 hectares (22 acres). It is close to the Western Australian Herbarium. In 2000 it was designated as "Bush Forever Site 48" by the Government of Western Australia.It was made a reserve in the 1990s when the suburb was still located within Perth City council boundaries. It is now within the Town of Victoria Park local government area, and is managed together with "The Kent Street Sand Pit" and the "George Street Reserve" (a contaminated landfill site) as a single entity, the "Jirdarup Bushland Precinct". This Precinct has a total area of 17.9 hectares. The name Jirdarup is a Nyoongar word meaning "place of birds". The Town of Victoria Park plans to rehabilitate the Sandpit site.

Kent Street Senior High School is a public co-educational specialist high day and boarding school in the Town of Victoria Park, located on Kent Street in East Victoria Park, a suburb of Perth, Western Australia. Over 50 percent of students attending Kent Street live in neighbouring or other school districts. This is largely due to Kent Street's specialist programs (aeronautics, cricket, fashion & design, and Centre of Resources Excellence (CoRE)).

The Pawsey Supercomputing Centre (PSC) is the government-supported high-performance computing national facility located in Perth, Western Australia. Pawsey supports researchers in Western Australia and across Australia through the Pawsey Centre (facility). Pawsey is an unincorporated joint venture between the CSIRO, Curtin University, Edith Cowan University, Murdoch University and the University of Western Australia. Funding comes from the joint venture partners, the Western Australian Government and the Australian Government. Pawsey services are free to members of the joint venture. Free access to supercomputers is also available to researchers across Australia via a competitive merit process. Services are also provided to industry and government. Pawsey provides infrastructure to support a computational research workflow. This includes supercomputers and cloud computing, data storage and visualisation. The infrastructure is located at the joint venture members, linked by a dedicated high speed network. Pawsey is an integral component of the Australian Square Kilometre Array Pathfinder (ASKAP) and the Murchison Widefield Array (MWA) radio astronomy telescopes. A dedicated network links the telescopes directly to the Pawsey Centre, where the data is processed, stored and remotely visualised. This network is operated by AARNet, with the Perth-Geraldton link funded by the Australian Government Regional Blackspot Program.

The Western Australian Herbarium is the State Herbarium in Perth, Western Australia. It is part of the State government's Department of Parks and Wildlife, and has responsibility for the description and documentation of the flora of Western Australia. It has the Index Herbariorum code of PERTH.The Hebarium forms part of the Australasian Virtual Herbarium. The Herbarium is linked to the Western Australian 'Regional Herbaria Network' – which links approximately 84 regional community groups which have local reference collections. In 2000, with the Wildflower Society of Western Australia and the Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority it published The Western Australian Flora – A Descriptive Catalogue.

Victoria Park transfer station is a Transperth bus station in Victoria Park, Western Australia. It is located at the eastern end of The Causeway, under the bridge carrying the Great Eastern Highway and Canning Highway. It has six stands and is served by 18 Transperth routes operated by Path Transit, Swan Transit and Transdev WA. On 28 January 2024, the station will be renamed to Causeway bus station.

Victoria Park Post Office is a heritage-listed post office at 414 Albany Highway, Victoria Park, Western Australia, Australia. It was added to the Australian Commonwealth Heritage List on 22 August 2012.

Groove 101.7FM (ACMA callsign: 6YMS) was a Western Australian community radio station broadcasting from studios located in Carlisle, owned and operated by the Youth Media Society of Western Australia Incorporated. First broadcast in March 2003, the station was closed in March 2008.

Technology Park Bentley is Australia’s second oldest technology park. It opened in 1985. In 1987 the Western Precinct was opened, housing the Australian Resources Research Centre (ARRC). Heirisson Island is an island in the Swan River in Western Australia at the eastern end of Perth Water, between the suburbs of East Perth and Victoria Park. It occupies an area of 285600 m2 (3074000 sq ft), and is connected to the two foreshores by The Causeway. The next upstream island is Kuljak Island, then Ron Courtney Island, with no islands in the Swan River downstream between Heirisson Island and the Indian Ocean other than the artificial islet in Elizabeth Quay. Before development, there were several small islands, surrounded by mudflats. Over the years, dredging and reclamation has created a single island, which is now a landscaped nature reserve, with a 2 km (1.2 mi) walking path. The Noongar name for the area is Matagarup (meaning "leg deep"), which has been retained for the single island after reclamation.Heirisson Island is listed on the Western Australia Department of Aboriginal Affairs' Register of Aboriginal Sites, as ID 3589.

The Ursula Frayne Catholic College is a dual-campus independent Roman Catholic co-educational primary and secondary day school, located southeast of Perth, Western Australia. Students from Kindergarten to Year 6 are educated at the Balmoral street campus in East Victoria Park, while years 7 to 12 attend Frayne at the Duncan street campus in Victoria Park.The college was established in its present form in 1990, but dates back to a school founded by the Sisters of Mercy, led by Mother Clare Buggy, in 1899. The school was named after Mother Ursula Frayne to publicly commemorate the first leader of the Sisters of Mercy and founder of many Catholic schools in Western Australia.

The Causeway Pedestrian and Cyclist Bridges are a pair of cable-stayed bridges under construction in Perth, Western Australia, linking East Perth with Victoria Park across the Swan River via Heirisson Island. The two bridges are slightly downstream of The Causeway, which is the road linking East Perth with Victoria Park. Construction began in March 2023 and is expected to be complete by the end of 2024.

The Town of Victoria Park is a local government area of Western Australia. It covers an area of 17.62 km² in metropolitan Perth, the capital of Western Australia. It had a population of approximately 35,000 as at the 2016 census. It lies on the southern side of the Swan River, to the south-east of the Perth CBD, and is connected to Fremantle and South Perth via Canning Highway; to the Perth CBD by Graham Farmer Freeway and The Causeway; to Belmont and Perth Airport by Great Eastern Highway and to Cannington by Shepperton Road and Albany Highway. The Perth–Armadale rail line passes through Burswood and forms the eastern boundaries of Lathlain and Carlisle. The Town of Victoria Park is bounded on the east by the City of Belmont, on the south by the City of Canning on the west by the City of South Perth and on the north by City of Vincent and the City of Perth.
