The Parque de la Ciudad (English: City Park) is a former amusement park in the Villa Soldati neighborhood of Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Villa Soldati is a neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Argentina, located in the South-West of the city. It has a population of approximately 41,000 people, 40% of which live in Barrio Soldati, a public housing development built between 1973 and 1979. The ward is delimited by 27 de Febrero Ave., Coronel Esteban Bonorino, General Francisco Fernández de la Cruz Ave., Varela, Perito Moreno Ave., Castañares, and Escalada streets. Founded in 1908 by Dr. José Soldati as "Villa Lugano," the area originally included what today is the Villa Lugano neighborhood. The first lots were sold in 1911, but the area's topography led to frequent flooding, and much of the area was left undeveloped. The neighborhood was bolstered by the establishment of the large La Vascongada dairy in 1930, but the opening of a landfill in 1936 dampened hopes for the area's future growth. Built after 1977 over the former landfill, the bankruptcy of the developer (Interama) in 1980 led to controversy when Cacciatore had the city absorb the group's debts of over US$100 million; in the end, the amusement park's planned 15 million yearly visitors never came (attendance has never topped 1 million).The Parque Roca Stadium, a multi-purpose facility, opened in Villa Soldati in 2006, became the home of the Argentina Davis Cup Team, and hosted a semifinal match of the 2006 Davis Cup as its first sporting event.

The Mary Terán de Weiss Stadium (Spanish: Estadio Mary Terán de Weiss), commonly known as Parque Roca due to its location within the limits of the Parque Polideportivo Roca, is a multipurpose stadium in Buenos Aires, Argentina. It is located at Avenida Coronel Roca and Avenida Escalada in the Villa Soldati neighborhood. The stadium, named after Argentinian tennis player Mary Terán de Weiss, has a capacity of 15,500 spectators. The first phase of construction cost 11.5 million Argentine pesos (approximately US$3.71 million). Former Buenos Aires mayor Jorge Telerman officially opened the stadium on September 19, 2006. The first official event to take place in the stadium was a semifinal of the 2006 Davis Cup, between Argentina and Australia, on September 22–24, with the Argentine team winning, 5-0. The stadium has four main spectator areas: court-level boxes, lower and upper grandstand decks, and upper enclosed boxes. Below the grandstands are locker rooms, a large gymnasium, and offices. In 2014 works for a permanent facade and retractable roof were started. When finished, it will be the largest-capacity indoor arena in Buenos Aires with a seating capacity being expanded to 15,500. The stadium will be able to host many events besides tennis, including basketball, volleyball, and artistic and cultural fairs.It hosted the International Broadcast Centre during the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics.

The Villa Soldati level crossing disaster occurred on the morning of June 11, 1962 in the Villa Soldati neighborhood of Buenos Aires, when, in dense fog, a train struck a municipal bus carrying schoolchildren.It was one of the worst accidents in the city of Buenos Aires, with the number of fatal victims estimated between 31 and 42.

La Casa del Handball Argentino (meaning in English "Home of Argentine Handball") is an arena in Villa Soldati, Buenos Aires, Argentina, belonging to Argentine Handball Confederation. The venue was opened in October 2022 and seats up to 5000 espectators, built as the former Oceania Pavilion of the Youth Olympic Park, home of the Boxing and Taekwondo competitions of the 2018 Youth Olympics.

Fernández de la Cruz is a station on the Buenos Aires Premetro. It was opened on 29 April 1987 together with the other Premetro stations. The station is located in the Barrio of Villa Soldati in the vicinity of Sacachispas Fútbol Club.

Larrazábal is a station on the Buenos Aires Premetro. The station is on the branch that terminates at General Savio station. It was opened on 29 April 1987 together with the other Premetro stations. The station is located in the Barrio of Villa Lugano, near a large social housing complex. The station was formerly called Armada Argentina, but was renamed in 2003 along with several other stations.

Centro Cívico is a Buenos Aires Premetro station, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, which serves as a terminus of a side branch. The adjacent station is Ana Díaz. The station was opened on 29 April 1987 together with most other stations of Premetro.

Villa Lugano is a barrio (neighbourhood) in Buenos Aires, Argentina, located in the south of the city. It has a population of approximately 114,000 people. It is delimited by Avenida Eva Perón, Avenida General Paz, Calle José Barros Pazos, Avenida Lisandro de la Torre, Avenida Coronel Roca and Avenida Escalada. To the south-east it limits with La Matanza Partido. Generally a working-class neighbourhood, Villa Lugano is characterised by its numerous public housing complexes built in the late 20th century, such as Barrio General Manuel Savio (commonly known as Lugano 1 y 2), Barrio Cardenal Antonio Samoré, Barrio Cardenal Copello, and Barrio Comandante Luis Piedrabuena.

General Savio is a station on the Buenos Aires Premetro. The station is on the branch that terminates at General Savio station. It was opened on 29 April 1987 together with the other Premetro stations. The station is located between the Barrios of Villa Lugano and Villa Riachuelo, near the Autódromo Juan y Oscar Gálvez. It is the terminal station on this branch of the Premetro. From here passengers may transfer to the Metrobus Sur BRT line.

Estadio Nueva Espana is a multi-use stadium in Buenos Aires, Argentina, it has a capacity of 32,500 and it was built in 1981. Nueva España was used as the home ground of Deportivo Español, a football club who currently play in Primera B Metropolitana which is the Argentine third division. Due to the clubs recent financial difficulties, and the poor condition of the stadium, they were prevented from playing there, and had to play their home games elsewhere. However, at the start of the 2007/08 season, Español came back home after four years, playing against Deportivo Armenio on August 12.
