Fort Egypt, a large log house, is a historic landmark in Page County, Virginia and is listed in the National Register of Historic Places (#79003064). Built of 20"-25" diameter logs dovetailed at the corners, Fort Egypt has a massive stone chimney in the center of the house. It contains a fortified cellar with loop holes, possibly designed for protection against Indian attacks. No known Indian attacks occurred at Fort Egypt.The building was built about 1758 by Jacob Strickler (one of the early leaders of the Mennonite Church), and his descendants lived here for many generations. Several of the rooms are very large and were probably used for meetings of the Mennonite Church in this community before any church buildings were built.This home is located near the center of the 1,000 acre (4 km2) tract granted to the pioneer Abraham Strickler in 1735 and called the Egypt Bend tract.The building was restored by its current owners and is in an excellent state of preservation.

White House Bridge

White House Bridge was located west of Luray, Virginia over the South Fork of the Shenandoah River. During the American Civil War, on 2 June 1862, Stonewall Jackson's cavalry chief Turner Ashby burned this bridge to slow down Federal pursuit of their forces. The battles of Cross Keys and Port Republic were fought a week later. Earlier that year, during April union cavalry had stopped Confederate forces from destroying the bridge.

Mauck's Meetinghouse

Mauck's Meetinghouse, also known as Mill Creek Church, is a historic Mennonite-Baptist meeting house located at Hamburg, Page County, Virginia. It was built between 1795 and 1800, and is a 1+1⁄2-story, planked-log structure measuring approximately 36 feet by 29 feet. The building was remodeled about 1830, with the addition of weatherboard siding (since removed) and interior balconies. The entrances feature raised six-panel Federal doors and the architrave is a simple one-section molding.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.Mauck's Meetinghouse is owned by the Page County Heritage Association and is open the first Saturday of the month from May through September.

Located on the property are the contributing meathouse / wash house (c. 1890), wall and foot bridge, barn (1870s), dairy barn and milkhouse (c. 1950), shed (c. 1950), and the Brubaker Cemetery.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.

Isaac Spitler House

Isaac Spitler House is a historic home and farm complex located near Luray, Page County, Virginia. The farmhouse was built in 1826, and is a two-story, brick dwelling with a gable roof. A wing was added in 1857 to create an L-shaped building. Located on the property are the contributing remains of a double-unit stone outbuilding which sheltered and sustained the original settlers (about 1738–1739) and two succeeding generations; chimney and remains of a log building; stone wellhouse and dairy; large vernacular Switzer or Swisher barn dated to the 1750s; combination wagon shed and corn crib; a set of stone steps which were used to assist persons in mounting horses and getting into wagons; two eight-foot-high stone gateposts; and a small family cemetery containing nine graves.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.
