MOMus Contemporary, in full MOMus–Museum of Contemporary Art–Macedonian Museum of Contemporary Art and State Museum of Contemporary Art Collections, is a contemporary art museum in Thessaloniki, Central Macedonia, Greece, located in the area of the Thessaloniki International Fair. It was formerly known as the Macedonian Museum of Contemporary Art (MMCA, Greek: Μακεδονικό Μουσείο Σύγχρονης Τέχνης, ΜΜΣΤ).

The Cemetery Basilica is an Early Christian basilica church located at Tritis Septemvriou Street in Thessaloniki, Greece. Only a portion of the building has been excavated, as the rest lies underneath the buildings of the Thessaloniki International Fair. The new Museum of Byzantine Culture is also located nearby.The church is a three-aisled basilica. Its date of construction is unknown, but a number of coins dating from the period AD 380–450 have been excavated around it, making the church a 5th-century construction. The building survived intact until the 7th century, when it was destroyed during one of the barbarian assaults on the city. The church is connected to the nearby martyrion of Alexander of Pydna, and features also a kyklion – an unusual subterranean corridor underneath the sanctuary, probably connected with the cult of the martyrs.

The Archaeological Museum of Thessaloniki (Greek: Αρχαιολογικό Μουσείο Θεσσαλονίκης Arkheoloyikó Mousío Thessaloníkis) is a museum in Thessaloniki, Central Macedonia, Greece. It holds and interprets artifacts from the Prehistoric, Archaic, Classical, Hellenistic and Roman periods, mostly from the city of Thessaloniki but also from the region of Macedonia in general.

The Thessaloniki International Fair (Greek: Διεθνής Έκθεση Θεσσαλονίκης, Diethnis Ekthesi Thessalonikis), abbreviated TIF (ΔΕΘ), is an annual international exhibition event held in Thessaloniki, Greece's second-largest city. It has been held in the first week of September since 1926, and its opening is traditionally marked by a series of programmatical statements by the Prime Minister of Greece. The 2020 fair was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the first cancellation since WW2.

The Museum of Byzantine Culture (Greek: Μουσείο Βυζαντινού Πολιτισμού) is a museum in Thessaloniki, Central Macedonia, Greece, which opened in 1994.

Alexandreio Melathron Nick Galis Hall (Greek: Αλεξάνδρειο Μέλαθρον, Σάλα Νίκος Γκάλης) is an indoor sports arena that is located in Thessaloniki, Greece. It is also often referred to as the Palais des Sports (Greek: Παλαί ντε Σπορ). The arena is mainly used to host basketball and volleyball games. The arena's main hall, called Nikos Galis Hall, has a permanent seating capacity of 5,138, and a capacity of 6,000 with temporary seating, for basketball games. The arena also contains a practice court, club offices, shops, and a museum dedicated to the Aris basketball club. The arena hosts the home games of Aris Thessaloniki B.C., a member of the Greek League.

YMCA Park Thessaloniki is a 11.52-acre (46,627 m2) public park in the municipality of Thessaloniki, Greece. One of the best known of Thessaloniki's public parks, it is a center for cultural activity. The park is an open space with the fountain area being one of the city's popular spots.

Sintrivani/Ekthesi (Greek: Σιντριβάνι/Έκθεση, literally Fountain/Exposition) is an under-construction metro station serving Thessaloniki Metro's Line 1 and Line 2. It is expected to enter service in 2023 The station is named after an Ottoman fountain, which marked the eastern entrance into the walled city before its expansion, and the Thessaloniki International Fair, whose grounds are immediately adjacent. Once it opens in 2020, it will function as the terminus of both lines 1 and 2 until the section between N. Sid. Stathmos and Aghia Sofia opens in 2021.The station also appears in the 1988 Thessaloniki Metro proposal. In previous iterations of the Thessaloniki Metro Development Plan, the station is shown with the alternative spelling Syntrivani (Greek: Συντριβάνι).

The Sculpture Cor-ten or Sculpture DETH is an artwork of the Greek sculptor George Zongolopoulos that was placed to the northern entrance of the Thessaloniki International Fair (DETH) in 1966.

The Art Gallery of the Society for Macedonian Studies (Greek: Πινακοθήκη Εταιρείας Μακεδονικών Σπουδών) is a museum in Thessaloniki, Greece, founded in 1975. It was the first organised visual art institution in the city of Thessaloniki, its purpose being to promote and disseminate modern Greek art, mainly that of northern Greece. It occupies the top floor of the building that also houses the State Theatre of Northern Greece. The building was designed by the architect Vassilis Kassandras and stands directly opposite the White Tower on the sea-front.

The National (or State) Theatre of Northern Greece (Κρατικό Θέατρο Βορείου Ελλάδος), an institution promoting theatrical plays in Thessaloniki and northern Greece, was founded in 1961 by Sokratis Karantinos, its first director. The Drama School and the Dance Theatre are integral parts of the National Theatre.The first base of the institution was the building of the Royal Theatre (Thessaloniki) but in 1962 was transferred to the current building. The complex of the Society of Macedonian Studies consists of three buildings. Megaron B', which hosts the theatre, was designed in early 1950s by Vasilis Kassandras, influenced by the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées. NTNG’s present institutional framework was established in 1994, with an Artistic Director and a seven-member Board of Directors who run the Theatre, which is subsidized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism (Greece). With four indoor theatres and two open-air theatres, NTNG is one of the biggest theatre organizations in Greece and Europe. Since May 1996, NTNG has been a member of the Union of the Theatres of Europe (https://www.union-theatres-europe.eu). In October 1997, the 6th Festival of the Union of the Theatres of Europe took place in Thessaloniki, and was a great cultural event for Thessaloniki as well as for Greece. NTNG is also a member of the International Theatre Institute and the Greek Theatre Centre for children and young people.

The Law School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki is considered one of the most prestigious Greek law schools. It is ranked first among the Greek law schools and is considered one of the 200 best law schools in the world.
