The Roman Catholic Diocese of Salt Lake City, is a Latin diocese of the Roman Catholic Church in the United States. Its boundaries are coterminous with the state of Utah. Its mother church is the Cathedral of the Madeleine in Salt Lake City and it is a suffragan diocese of the Archdiocese of San Francisco. On January 10, 2017, Pope Francis appointed Oscar Azarcon Solis, then an auxiliary bishop of Los Angeles, the 10th bishop of Salt Lake City.
