Oak Grove is a city in Anoka County, Minnesota, United States. It is north of Minneapolis. The population was 8,929 at the 2020 census.

Lake George is a small lake in Anoka County, Minnesota, located within the city of Oak Grove, 12 miles (19 km) north of the city of Anoka. Minnesota's Department of Natural Resources tracks the lake by the name George and the identifier 02-0091-00. The USGS tracks the lake by the ID 644081 and the coordinates of 45°21′25″N 93°20′10″WRoughly circular in shape with two marshes encircling Greenwald Island on the Southern shore, Lake George Regional Park covers much of the North shore. The park has picnic areas, a boat launch, and a large roped-off swimming beach. The lake is used during the summer and winter for water skiing, fishing, ice fishing, canoeing, and snowmobiling. With the exception of a few vacant lots, a wetland area in the southeast corner at the lake outlet, a new development on the west end, and the County property, there are homes located along the entire lake.The regions around the lake are known as: Paradise Alley, Beaver Shores, Lake George Regional Park, Cattail Oak, Shady Oak, South Bay, Greenwald Island, Indian Ridge Road.

Constance was an unincorporated community in Anoka County, Minnesota, United States. The site of Constance village, now abandoned, is within the present boundaries of the city of Andover.

The county seat and namesake of the county is the city of Anoka, which is derived from the Dakota word anokatanhan meaning "on (or from) both sides", referring to its location on the banks of the Rum River. Anoka County comprises the north portion of the Minneapolis–Saint Paul statistical area, the largest metropolitan area in the state and the 16th-largest in the United States with about 3.64 million residents. The county is bordered by the counties of Isanti on the north, Chisago and Washington on the east, Hennepin and Ramsey on the south, Sherburne on the west, and the Mississippi River on the southwest. The Rum River cuts through the county and was the site of many early European settlements. It was a common route to the Mille Lacs Lake, the spiritual homeland of the Ojibwe people. Father Louis Hennepin traveled the river in his first exploration of the region. The area became a center of fur trade and logging as French and French Canadian communities grew in the cities of Anoka and Centerville. Organized in 1857, the county's southern border eventually met Minneapolis and has become a predominantly suburban area following the construction of Interstate 35W. The county is home to local Twin Cities destinations such as the Heights Theater in Columbia Heights and Northtown Mall and the National Sports Center in Blaine.

The Swedish Evangelical Lutheran Church is a historic property in Anoka County, Minnesota. It is located at 2332 Swedish Drive in Ham Lake, Minnesota. The Late Victorian style church was built in 1872 to the design of architect Per August Gustafson. The church is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The church is owned and maintained by the congregation of Our Savior's Lutheran Church of East Bethel, Minnesota and is also known as Our Saviors Lutheran Church of Ham Lake. Both churches are affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.

Andover High School is a four-year public high school at 2115 Andover Blvd, Andover, Minnesota, United States. It is a part of Anoka-Hennepin School District 11 and is one of five traditional high schools in the district. It is the district's newest high school, opening in 2002. The first class graduated from Andover High School in 2004; the first class to have attended all four years of high school there graduated in 2006. It has students from both Andover and Ham Lake. The school's student population is 1750; they are 1% Native American, 1% Hispanic, 2% Asian, 3% African American, and 93% Caucasian.

Saint Francis High School (SFHS) is a high school located in St. Francis, Minnesota, United States. It is part of ISD 15 and covers about 165 square miles. Independent School District 15 includes the cities of St. Francis, Bethel, East Bethel, Oak Grove, portions of Andover and Nowthen, as well as portions of Athens and Stanford townships. The district is supported by a population of over 26,000 and annually educates about 6,000 people. There are three elementary schools (K–5) and one middle school (6–8) that send students to the high school.
