Bishop Challoner School is an English independent coeducational Roman Catholic day school in Shortlands, Greater London, for children aged three to eighteen years.

Bromley Reform Synagogue is a synagogue in Shortlands, Bromley in the London Borough of Bromley; it serves the areas of south east London and north west Kent including Bromley, Beckenham, Orpington, Blackheath, Dartford, Maidstone, Sevenoaks, Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells. The community was established in 1964 and has been based in its present location since 1967. The sanctuary has been refurbished in light wood and glass to reflect the Hebrew name of the community, Beit Or, House of Light. Mati Kirschenbaum was appointed in 2020 as the community's Rabbi. He stepped down in late 2021, and will be replaced in April 2022 by Rabbi Laura Janner-Klausner.

Shortlands is a suburb of South East London, England, within the London Borough of Bromley and the historic county of Kent. It is located between Beckenham and Bromley, to the north of Park Langley.

The Bromley War Memorial in Bromley, Greater London, England commemorates the fallen of World War I and World War II. It was designed by British sculptor Sydney March, of the March family of artists.

Bromley and Sheppard's Colleges are located in Bromley and today provide accommodation for retired clergy and their dependents. Bromley College provides 40 self-contained dwellings, and Sheppard’s College a further seven. Founded in the 17th century, with later additions and extensions, the property includes three listed buildings.

Ravensbourne railway station is in the London Borough of Bromley in south London. The station adjoins Beckenham Place Park and serves the north edge of Beckenham and Shortlands. It is 10 miles 34 chains (16.8 km) measured from London Victoria. It is in Travelcard Zone 4, and the station and all trains are operated by Thameslink. Opened in 1892 by the London, Chatham and Dover Railway as part of their new Catford Loop line, the station retains its Victorian air of a quiet country station although its roadside booking office was rebuilt after a fire in 1988.

St Peter and St Paul is a church in the town of Bromley, Borough of Bromley, in south east London. Known familiarly as Bromley Parish Church, it is not far from Bromley High Street and approximately halfway between Bromley North and Bromley South railway stations. The church is part of the Diocese of Rochester within the Church of England. Largely destroyed by bombing during the Second World War, St Peter and St Paul was rebuilt in the 1950s. It has been Grade II* listed since 1955.

Bromley Little Theatre is a community theatre in Bromley in the London Borough of Bromley, England and is a member of the Little Theatre Guild of Great Britain and its president is the actor Michael York.The theatre was established in 1938 on its present site which was converted from an old Victorian bakery. The theatre has over 1,000 members split into full and audience-only groups, all the staff, cast and crew are volunteers. The theatre is a registered charity run by the board of Trustees and include a youth group. The theatre's repertory members present approximately 11 shows each year as well as a number of smaller productions which are performed in the open "Bar Area". Performances run for around eight nights, apart from Sunday evenings when the theatre stage is used to showcase local or touring bands, among other events.

The Churchill Theatre in Bromley, southeast London was built by the London Borough of Bromley to designs by its borough architect's department. The Churchill is an example of a repertory theatre built in the style of European opera houses, with a large stage and sub-stage workshops. Integrated into the central library complex overlooking Church House Gardens and Library Gardens, it was built on the side of a hill, disguising the number and size of the lower levels and giving the impression of being smaller by setting the auditorium below ground level which is entered by descending staircases from the foyer. The theatre, named after former Prime Minister Winston Churchill, was opened on 19 July 1977 by the Prince of Wales, and seats 781. It took seven years to build at a cost of £1.63m.It is now run on a contract currently held by "Trafalgar entertainment", previous to that HQ Theatres & Hospitality and previous to that Ambassador Theatre Group.

Simpson's Manor, or Simpson's Place, was a moated medieval manor house in Bromley, Kent, England, with evidence of habitation going back to the reign of Edward I (r. 1272–1307). It was demolished around 1870 but survives in the name of a (minor) local road – Simpson's Place.

St Mary's Church, Bromley is a Church of England parish church in what was the village of Plaistow in Bromley. It was consecrated in 1863 and enlarged three times between 1881 and 1900. Its churchyard closed for burials in 1893 when Plaistow Cemetery opened. In order to avoid confusion with churches of similar names it is sometimes called "St Mary Plaistow, Bromley".
