St. Paul's Cathedral is the cathedral of the Episcopal Diocese of Western New York and a landmark of downtown Buffalo, New York. The church sits on a triangular lot bounded by Church St., Pearl St., Erie St., and Main St. It was built in 1849-51 to a design by Richard Upjohn, and was believed by him to be his finest work. Its interior was gutted by fire in 1888, and was redesigned thereafter by Robert W. Gibson, and it was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1987 for its architecture.

The Guaranty Building, formerly called the Prudential Building, is an early skyscraper in Buffalo, New York. It was designed by Louis Sullivan and Dankmar Adler and completed in 1896. The building has been declared a National Historic Landmark.

The Fidelity Trust Building, also known as Swan Tower, is a 160,000-square-foot (15,000 m2) commercial Renaissance Revival office building located at 284 Main Street in the Joseph Ellicott Historical District (also called the Downtown Historic District) in downtown Buffalo, New York.

The Buffalo Veterans Treatment Court is a judicial "veterans' court" which was first established in 2008 in Buffalo, New York, USA, as part of the Erie County court system. The court, which bills itself as a "hybrid drug and mental health court", is considered the first of its kind in American law services, and was established in order to provide a civil court which tries cases involving veterans of the United States Armed Forces, based upon the belief that a large proportion of veterans from present and past conflicts have experienced hardships which are unique to their former service in the military. The current judge of the court is Justice Robert T. Russell.

The Edward A. Rath County Office Building is a high-rise office building located at 95 Franklin Street, in Buffalo, New York across from Erie County Hall and the Prudential (Guaranty) Building. The Rath building was named for Edward A. Rath, the first County Executive of Erie County, New York. The building contains the Erie County Executive’s office, Department of Motor Vehicles, Department of Public Works, the Office of Geographic Information Services, and a number of other county departments. It was designed by architectural firms Milstein, Wittek, Davis & Hamilton and Backus, Crane & Love, and constructed c. 1968.

Church is a Buffalo Metro Rail station located in the 300 block of Main Street (just north of Church Street) in the Free Fare Zone, which allows passengers free travel between Erie Canal Harbor and Fountain Plaza. Passengers continuing northbound past Fountain Plaza are required to have proof-of-payment. Church is the closest to the Buffalo Metropolitan Transportation Center, located two blocks east at Ellicott and North Division Streets.

The Ellicott Square Building is a historic office complex, completed in 1896, located in Buffalo, New York.

Edisonia Hall was a generic name for exhibition halls that displayed the various inventions of Thomas Alva Edison's company. These included the phonograph, the Vitascope, the Kinetoscope and other such devices. The Edisonia Hall opened by Mitchell Mark and Moe Mark in Buffalo, New York in the Ellicott Square Building on October 19, 1896, had the distinction of hosting a Vitascope Theater (or "Theatre"). This was the first known dedicated, purpose-built motion picture theater in the world. The theater was referred to in newspapers of the day (Buffalo Express, Buffalo News, and others) as Vitascope Theater, Vitascope Hall, and the Electrical Theater. The majority of the first program of films were Lumiere Films obtained through Pathe Freres. In its first year of existence, more than 200,000 people visited to view motion pictures projected on a screen. The theater remained open for nearly two years, longer than any other early motion picture theater known. On November 25, 2007, the Buffalo News published an article by Mark Sommer confirming the historical significance of this theater.

The Main Place Tower is located at 350 Main Street, in Buffalo, NY. The skyscraper is the fourth-tallest building in the city, and home to many technology and communication firms. The tower, built in 1969, rises 350 feet (107 meters). The shopping center within the complex is referred to as the Main Place Mall.

Seneca (officially Merchants Insurance @ Seneca since June 27, 2019 for sponsorship purposes) is a Buffalo Metro Rail station located in the 200 block of Main Street between Seneca and Swan Streets in the Free Fare Zone, which allows passengers free travel between Erie Canal Harbor and Fountain Plaza station. Passengers continuing northbound past Fountain Plaza are required to provide proof-of-payment. On June 27, 2019, The Buffalo News announced that Merchants Insurance, which has been located at 260 Main Street since the 1960s, bought the naming rights for $161,000 for initially five years, with the option to renew for another five years.

Saint Joseph Cathedral, is located at 50 Franklin Street, in downtown Buffalo, New York and is currently the cathedral church of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Buffalo.

One M&T Plaza is an office tower located in Buffalo, New York and home to M&T Bank in Erie County. The 21-story International style or New Formalist office tower was designed by Minoru Yamasaki with Duane Lyman Associates and completed in 1967. The structural steel for the building was produced locally by Bethlehem Steel, and was a product of their V50 grade. The base of the building is composed of white and green marble with an interior of travertine. The building also features a 75-by-225 foot exterior plaza.
