Národní (Prague)

Národní třída ("Avenue of the Nation", Czech pronunciation: [ˈnaːrodɲiː ˈtr̝iːda]) is a Prague Metro station on Line B and a former ghost station. The station has two exits, one to Spálená street where it connects to the tram network and other to M. D. Rettigové street, using a pair of lifts. The station was opened on 2 November 1985, as part of the inaugural section of Line B between Sokolovská and Smíchovské nádraží.The station was closed between July 2012 and June 2014 due to construction of a new shopping and business centre called Quadrio. Trains only passed through the station without stopping.

Caritas Czech Republic (Czech: Charita Česká republika) is a Czech Catholic not-for-profit social welfare and humanitarian relief organisation. Liberální Institut, also known as the Liberal Institute, is a Czech political think tank based in Prague which aims to promote the principles of classical liberal thought. First known as the F.A. Hayek Liberal Association, it was founded by Jiří Schwarz, Tomáš Ježek and Miroslav Ševčík in the fall of 1989 and later registered on February 6, 1990 under its current name. Currently led by Martin Panek, the Liberal Institute endeavors to develop and apply ideas of classical liberalism in relation to the Czech and European political system. Its activities are based on the principles of individual freedom, a government with limited powers, the free market and peace.

Quadrio is a multifunctional complex in the centre of Prague, Czech Republic, at metro station Národní třída. It serves mainly as shopping centre and it is also containing offices and residential building. It is also connected with Shopping house Máj, which was built in 1975. Construction of Quadrio complex took place between 2012 and 2014. The building has three underground and eight above-ground floors. Investor of the project was European real estate investor CPI Property Group. It was designer by Czech architectonic atelier Jakub Cigler Architects.The kinetic sculpture Head of Franz Kafka by David Černý is located next to the complex.

The Head of Franz Kafka (Czech: Hlava Franze Kafky), also known as the Statue of Kafka, is an outdoor sculpture by David Černý depicting Bohemian German-language writer Franz Kafka, installed outside the Quadrio shopping centre in Prague, Czech Republic. The kinetic sculpture is 11 metres tall and made of 42 rotating panels. Each layer is mechanized and rotates individually.

Prague New City Hall (Czech: Nová radnice), the central administrative building of Prague (not to be confused with the New Town Hall/ Novoměstská radnice, once the town hall of Prague's New Town and now the building of the city district Prague 2), is located on the east side of Mariánské náměstí (Virgin Mary Square) in the centre of the Old Town, Prague 1, across from the Clementinum building complex. Since 1945 it has been the seat of Prague City Hall, Prague City Council, Prague City Assembly and the Mayor of Prague. The building contains offices, meeting halls and formal residences for the mayor and other city officials.

St. Michael's Church in Jircháře, Prague - New Town near the National Theatre, specifically the New Town street, which is called v Jirchářích (in Jirchaře - the nickname of the church is called after this part of Prague). It is the seat of Czech, Slovak and English congregation of the Evangelical Church of the Augsburg Confession in the Czech Republic. Its architectural style is not uniform due to alterations in different periods and styles. It is protected as a cultural monument of the Czech Republic.

The New Town Hall (Czech: Novoměstská radnice, German: Neustädter Rathaus}) is the administrative centre of Prague's (medieval) New Town Quarter, or "Nové Město". In 1419 it was the site of the first of the three defenestrations of Prague.
