The New South Wales Education Standards Authority (abbreviated as NESA) is the state government education statutory authority with the responsibility for the establishment and monitoring of quality teaching, learning, assessment and school standards in the Australian state of New South Wales. It was formed on 1 January 2017 to replace the Board of Studies, Teaching and Educational Standards,NESA is responsible for setting and monitoring teaching, learning, assessment and school standards. This includes responsibility, across NSW public, Catholic and independent schools, for: Kindergarten to Year 12 curriculumaccreditation of teachers and teaching degrees the internationally recognised HSC school registration and home schooling.In May 2019 the NESA Board and Minister for Education approved the NESA Charter which sets out the organisation's mission and purpose, objectives and functions, standards, values and operating principles, and the role of the Board. The Wynyard Walk is a 180-metre-long (590 ft) pedestrian link and tunnel between Wynyard station and Barangaroo in the Sydney central business district. The walkway was officially opened on 20 September 2016. Wynyard Walk provides a quick and safe route and has increased the entry and exit capacity of Wynyard station to meet demand as Barangaroo is redeveloped. An estimated 20,000 pedestrians per hour can walk through the tunnel. In 2009, prior to construction of Barangaroo, the pedestrian tunnel was estimated to cost $100 million.

Historically known as the New Hunter River Hotel, it was known as the Big House Hotel from 1973 until 1991, then as Napoleon's Hotel, Moreton's on Sussex and Moreton's Hotel before adopting its current name. The AWA Tower is a heritage-listed office and communications complex in Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia built for Amalgamated Wireless Australasia Limited. The AWA Tower consists of a radio transmission tower atop a 15-storey building. It is located in the Sydney central business district at 45-47 York Street, close to Wynyard Park and Wynyard railway station. It was designed by Robertson, Marks and McCredie in association with DT Morrow and Gordon and built from 1937 to 1939 by William Hughes and Co. Pty Ltd. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.

Pinnacle House is a heritage-listed former warehouse at 2-6 Barrack Street, in the Sydney central business district, in the City of Sydney local government area of New South Wales, Australia. It was designed by Sheerin & Hennessy and built from 1888 to 1892 by Allum Brothers. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.
