Ogden Nature Center

Utah State Industrial School was a juvenile reform school that operated in Ogden, Utah from October 31, 1889 to 1983.

Stevens–Henager College was a private college that closed abruptly in August 2021. It was one of four educational institutions affiliated with the Salt Lake City-based Center for Excellence in Higher Education (CEHE). Established in 1891, the college had campuses in Idaho and Utah. It offered online and on-campus programs for associate degrees, bachelor's degrees, and master's degrees.

Independence University (IU, formerly California College for Health Sciences) was a private online career college headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah. It was the online branch of Stevens–Henager College, and operated four schools: the School of Healthcare, the School of Business, the School of Technology, and the School of Graphic Arts. IU was founded by Carl Barney and owned and operated by the Center for Excellence in Higher Education (CEHE). Independence university was accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges but the accreditor has begun withdrawing its accreditation because the university allegedly "failed to demonstrate successful student achievement by maintaining acceptable rates of student graduation and employment." In 2021, IU canceled classes scheduled to start May 10. On August 1, 2021, Independence University closed its doors permanently.

Defense Depot Ogden was a U.S. military installation located in Ogden, Utah, United States. It encompassed 1,139 acres (5 km2) with its southwest corner located on 12th Street (1200 South) and Tomlinson Road (1200 West). Its eastern border is the old Utah Northern Railroad, now owned by the Union Pacific Railroad.

Mountain View Auto Court (also known as the Mountain View Motel) is a complex of motel buildings in southwestern Ogden, Utah, that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The Charles W. Cross House is a historic two-story house in Ogden, Utah. It was built in 1890–1891, before Utah before a state, for Charles W. Cross, an immigrant from England who became a harness maker and council member in Ogden. The house was designed in the Queen Anne architectural style. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since July 12, 1984.

Marriott-Slaterville is a city in Weber County, Utah, United States. The population was 1,701 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Ogden–Clearfield, Utah Metropolitan Statistical Area. The city was incorporated in July 1999, in a merger of the previously unincorporated communities of Marriott and Slaterville.

The Ogden Intermodal Transit Center is a commuter rail train and bus station in Ogden, Utah, United States. It is served by the FrontRunner, Utah Transit Authority's (UTA) commuter rail train, as well as UTA local and commuter bus service, and Greyhound Lines long-distance bus service.

The Golden Spike Arena is a 6,500-seat multi-purpose arena in Ogden, Utah. The arena hosts local concerts, trade shows and sporting events for the area. The Golden Spike Arena was the home to the Ogden Knights of the American Indoor Football Association. It is part of the Golden Spike Event Center sports and convention complex and includes 18,000 square feet (1,700 m2) of arena floor space as well as six concession stands and open-span construction. Other facilities include: The Auction Arena with 12,000 square feet (1,100 m2) of space and seating for 350. An exhibit hall with 21,000 square feet (2,000 m2) of space and two concession stands. A recreation hall with 20,000 square feet (2,000 m2) of space, enough for two basketball courts and three volleyball courts. A 6,000-seat outdoor stadium A A 2,500-seat race track. A 400-seat indoor arena with 29,610 square feet (2,751 m2) of space.All of the indoor venues can be used for conventions, trade shows and other events, while the outdoor stadium is used for rodeos, concerts, and other outdoor events.

The Miles Goodyear Cabin is a historic building in Ogden, Utah, built by trapper and trader Miles Goodyear on the Weber River in 1845 and was the foundation of the first permanent European settlement in Utah. It is the oldest building in the state of Utah not built by Native Americans. The cabin is constructed of sawn cottonwood logs, measuring roughly 14.33 feet (4.37 m) by 17.75 feet (5.41 m).

The American Can Company of Utah Building Complex, now known as the AmeriCan Center, is a historic industrial site located in Ogden City, Utah. It was built in 1914 by the American Can Company. By the late 1940s, the plant employed 450 people and produced millions of cans for pea, potato, green bean and fruit crop farmers in Weber County. For a while, the company also manufactured steel beer cans. The company switched to making steel soft drink cans in the 1950s, but closed in 1979 with the advent of aluminum cans. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2005. It has since been converted to commercial space consisting of the U.S. headquarters of Amer Sports and the DaVinci Academy of Science and the Arts.
