Battle of Maipú

Santiago Bueras is an underground metro station on the Line 5 of the Santiago Metro, in Santiago, Chile. It is named after Santiago Bueras, a soldier shot dead at the Battle of Maipú. The station was opened on 3 February 2011 as part of the extension of the line from Pudahuel to Plaza de Maipú.The station consists of a mined platform tunnel and transept, as well as a cut-and-cover shaft. There is an inverted pyramid roof over the paid area of the street-level ticket hall, which features V-shaped pillars and glazed walls.

Maipú is a commune of Chile located in Santiago Province, Santiago Metropolitan Region, integrated into the Greater Santiago conurbation. It was founded on February 16, 1821 and it is the place of the Battle of Maipú (April 5, 1818), where Chile's independence was consolidated. Inhabitants are mostly part of a middle class. According to the 2017 census, Maipú was the second largest commune in Chile, behind Puente Alto.

Plaza de Maipú is an underground metro station on Line 5 of the Santiago Metro, in Santiago, Chile. The station is located under the Plaza de Armas of Maipú. It was formerly the deepest station in the Santiago Metro system at 28 metres (92 ft) deep. However, this has since been surpassed by the Line 3 platforms at Puente Cal y Canto station. The station was opened on 3 February 2011 as the southwestern terminus of the extension of the line from Pudahuel to Plaza de Maipú.The platform level of the station is built in a mined tunnel with an oval cross section. At their eastern ends, two also tunneled transepts open into a large, deep cut-and-cover box. The ticket hall is on the first level down of this volume. Multi-level escalators, elevators and stairways lead to the surface.

Del Sol is a metro station on the Line 5 of the Santiago Metro, in Santiago, Chile. The station is named for the nearby Autopista del Sol. The station was opened on 3 February 2011 as part of the extension of the line from Pudahuel to Plaza de Maipú.At 17 metres (56 ft) below the surface, the lower level of the station has two side platforms and two tracks, and above these there is a full-length mezzanine. The platforms are 170 m (560 ft) in length. Large rectangular pillars support the upper levels. The station features a caterpillar-shaped street-level bus area, which is covered by a fiberglass-reinforced PVC fabric membrane roof. It is 120 m (390 ft) long and 25 m (82 ft) wide.

Estadio Santiago Bueras is a multi-use stadium in Maipu, Chile. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of Santiago Morning. The stadium holds 3,400 people and was built in 1984.

Monte Tabor is a metro station on the Line 5 of the Santiago Metro, in Santiago, Chile. The station was opened on 3 February 2011 as part of the extension of the line from Pudahuel to Plaza de Maipú. It is one of the three stations built on a viaduct on the just mentioned extension. The platforms and tracks are enclosed by a steel-framed structure. The portal frames are rectangular in shape with rounded corners and have different heights, which creates an undulating pattern along the platforms lengthwise. The structure base is overlapped by an arched tensile membrane structure. This portion of the station is laterally covered with sandwich-structured composite panels of aluminum. The station features a double decker skyway, which connects the platforms to a cylindrical building. The walkway on the lower deck leads to the westbound platform, while the higher walkway crosses over the tracks and connects with the eastbound platform via two stairways and a two-stop elevator.

Las Parcelas is a metro station on the Line 5 of the Santiago Metro, in Santiago, Chile. The station was opened on 3 February 2011 as part of the extension of the line from Pudahuel to Plaza de Maipú. It is one of the three stations built on a viaduct on the expansion. Along with the other two elevated stops, this station features a double decker skyway, which connects the platforms to a cylindrical building. It is located underneath the junction of Teniente Cruz Avenue with Laguna Sur Street, in the commune of Pudahuel between Las Parcelas station (1,140 meters away) and Barrancas station (1,140 meters away).The station was opened on 3 February 2011 as part of the extension of the line from Pudahuel to Plaza de Maipú. It is one of three stations on the elevated viaduct extension of the line to Maipú. The station structure consists of two parts: the platforms, located on an elevated viaduct, and the ticket office and entrance points on the Teniente Cruz Avenue / Laguna Sur Street junction. Barrancas is an underground metro station on Line 5 of the Santiago Metro network in Santiago, Chile. It is located underneath the junction of Teniente Cruz Avenue and General Bonilla Avenue on the border of the communes of Pudahuel and Lo Prado, between Laguna Sur station (1140 meters away) and Pudahuel station (990 meters away). It also lies parallel to the Route 68 highway which connects Santiago with Valparaíso and Viña del Mar, and the highway crosses over the underground metro line. Neptuno is a metro station on the Line 1 of the Santiago Metro, in Santiago, Chile. It is located close to the main maintenance facility for the Metro of Santiago. It has a moderate-low flow of passengers, located in a residential place with no big attractions. The station was opened on 15 September 1975 as part of the inaugural section of the line between San Pablo and La Moneda.The Neptuno depot, which serves the Line 1, is near the station.
