Beacon Fell is a fell in the civil parish of Goosnargh in Lancashire, England. The high ground, which rises to 266 m (873 ft), has been a country park since 1970. It is situated within the south westerly part of the Forest of Bowland, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The pub, which was established in 1809, has been owned since January 2017 by Mikoh Inns, which also owns The White Bull in Bilsborrow, Lancashire, about three miles to the west. In 1986, Inglewhite was designated a conservation area. It was appraised again a decade later. A 2011 review "re-evaluates its special architectural and historic interest in line with the requirements of the Town & Country (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990 using the latest best practice guidance produced by English Heritage." In 2011, Preston City Council designated The Green Man one of eight sites of special interest in the village.The building is also notable for its use of the now-rare Westmorland slate on its roof.

Inglewhite Congregational Church is a church building located in the English village of Inglewhite, Lancashire. A Grade II listed building, it was constructed in 1826, seven years after the founding of the church.The church is in sandstone, partly rendered, with quoins and a slate roof. It has a rectangular plan, with an extension on the side. There is a gabled symmetrical front that has a round-headed doorway with an inscription in the head, imposts, and a fanlight. There are two round-headed windows above, and larger round-headed windows on the sides and rear.In 2011, Preston City Council designated the church as one of eight buildings in the village to be sites of special interest.

Ye Horns Inn is a restaurant and public house at Horns Lane in Goosnargh parish near Preston, Lancashire, England.Located near the Forest of Bowland, Ye Horns Inn has welcomed locals and travellers alike over the years. Originally a coaching inn called the Buck Horns, dating back to 1782, it was originally part of a working farm.During the inter-war period the interior was partially refitted which coincided with render and mock timber being applied to the exterior. This, and the creation of dining rooms, is thought to be an attempt to provide an "improved" pub, popular at the time and stemming from a desire to cut back on the amount of drunkenness associated with conventional Victorian and Edwardian public houses. Fast forward a few decades and the building was granted a Grade II listing in January 2017 based on its architectural value and the retention of the pub’s interior. Its distinctive characteristics, prior to renovation 2018–2022, earned it a listing on the Campaign for Real Ale's National Inventory of Historic Pub Interiors. It was one of only three pubs in the UK where the public could sit behind the bar in the area from which the bar staff serve. However, the Campaign for Real Ale claims that the renovations from 2018 to 2022 appear to have damaged historic parts of the interior without listed building consent.

The parish once contained the largest mental hospital in England, North West England’s nuclear bunker, and, according to legend, a giant cow.
