Villa del Parque

Agronomía is a barrio or district in the centre part of Buenos Aires autonomou city, Argentina. It gets its name from the University of Buenos Aires Faculty of Agronomy (Facultad de Agronomía, in Spanish) based in the neighborhood. Its boundaries are Avenida San Martín, Campana, Avenida Salvador María del Carril, Avenida de los Constituyentes, and Avenida Chorroarín. Parque Chas was previously a part of Agronomía, but was awarded barrio status in December 2005.

Estadio Alfredo Ramos is a football stadium in Agronomía, Buenos Aires, Argentina. It is the home ground of Comunicaciones. The stadium holds 3,500 people and was opened on 29 September 1962. Its name is a heartfelt tribute to Alfredo Ramos, who was president of the Club for 14 years.

Villa General Mitre is a neighborhood, or barrio, of Buenos Aires. The ward has a land area of 2.2 km2 (0.85 sq mi), and a population of 36,000. It was named after General Bartolomé Mitre, President of Argentina from 1862 to 1868. Villa Mitre was developed on land originally purchased by Francisco Ruiz de Gaona during the late colonial era, and he lived there until his death in 1813; Gaona Avenue, located along the ward's southern border, was named in his honor. The land was later subdivided into smallholdings mainly devoted to alfalfa, horticulture, and brick kilns. It became home to a large Italian immigrant community during the late 19th century, and in 1901 Mother Frances Xavier Cabrini founded the future Cabrini Institute here (one of 67 around the world, and her first in South America). Initially a subdivision of the Villa Santa Rita ward to the west, Villa Mitre was formally established as such on November 6, 1908; it was named in honor of former President Bartolomé Mitre, who died in 1906. The neighborhood remained prone to flooding until work began in 1929 on converting the Maldonado Stream into an underground storm sewer, above which Juan B. Justo Avenue was inaugurated in 1936. A block-sized lot adjacent to the Cabrini Institute was purchased by the City Government in 1937 to create Sáenz Peña Square, the neighborhood's largest park. Diego Maradona Stadium, home venue for the Argentinos Juniors football team, was inaugurated in Villa Mitre in 2003.

It is the home venue of Argentinos Juniors, and has a capacity of 26,000.It was given its name in 2004 in honour of the former Argentinos player Diego Maradona who made his professional debut here in 1976, following the refurbishment of the ground, and to celebrate the club's centenary year.

Villa Santa Rita is a barrio (district) of Buenos Aires, Argentina. It is located in the western part of Capital Federal.

Parque Chas is a neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Argentina, reinstated on 6 December 2005 through By-law No. 1907/06. Parque Chas is the smallest district in Buenos Aires and is bounded by La Pampa, Triunvirato, Combatientes de Malvinas, Chorroarín, and Constituyentes streets. It is also the only district not organized following a grid pattern. Three streets (Victorica, Avalos and Gándara) meet in the center of the neighborhood forming a six-points intersection. A concentric pattern of streets, named after European cities, surrounds this center. The pattern breaks when drawing closer to the major avenues (La Pampa, Triunvirato, and Avenida de Los Incas), where the grid pattern resumes. There are two small parks within the barrio. Parque Chas plays a prominent role in Tomas Eloy Martinez' book The Tango Singer.

La Paternal or Paternal (English: The Paternal) is a neighborhood or district in the centre of Buenos Aires city, Argentina. It was founded in 1904 by a city decree (decreto) and was named 'La Paternal' after the train station in the neighbourhood, a former industrial zone. La Paternal neighbours the following barrios: Agronomía, Chacarita, Villa Crespo, Villa General Mitre, Villa Santa Rita and Caballito. Primarily a residential quarter, it has mostly condos and single-family homes, and a shopping district on its main venue, Avenida San Martín. The barrio is traditionally associated with Argentinos Juniors football team, whose social headquarters is at the northern part of the neighbourhood.

Avenida Juan B. Justo is an avenue that runs through Palermo and Recoleta neighborhoods of Buenos Aires, Argentina, and goes from southwest to northeast, parallel Pueyrredón avenue. It starts at Santa Fe avenue, and ends at Avenida General Paz. Throughout its route passes the first Metrobus of the city. The avenue was so named in honor of Juan B. Justo.

Los Incas - Parque Chas is a station on Line B of the Buenos Aires Underground. The station was opened on 9 August 2003 as the western terminus of the extension of the line from Federico Lacroze. It remained the terminus of the line until the opening of Juan Manuel de Rosas station on 26 July 2013.It is located between the Villa Ortuzar and Parque Chas barrios, at the intersection of Avenida Triunvirato and Avenida de Los Incas.

Cementerio Británico de Buenos Aires, also known in English as Buenos Aires British cemetery, is a cemetery in Buenos Aires, Argentina. It is in the district of Chacarita in the northern part of Buenos Aires, adjacent to La Chacarita Cemetery.
