Westover Hills is a town in Tarrant County, Texas, United States. The population was 682 at the 2010 census.In 2000, Westover Hills was the wealthiest location in Texas by per capita income and the 12th highest-income place in the United States. It has since been surpassed in Texas by both Piney Point Village and Barton Creek. It is still the wealthiest suburb of Ft. Worth, Texas.

The Buck Oaks Farm is a historic place founded in 1932 located in Westworth Village, Texas. The house had Colonial Revival styling. It was designed by Earl T. Glasgow, an architect who also designed the Jermyn School and schools in the Fort Worth area.The house on the property incorporated portions of an older log cabin which was moved, perhaps the c.1870 original cabin built by Elijah Farmer.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on July 6, 1987. It was removed from the National Register on May 28, 2004. Structures may be removed from the National Register if they have been demolished or otherwise suffered loss of historic integrity. The house was used for military housing after the property was absorbed into the Carswell Air Force Base in 1954.

Fort Worth Independent School District is a school district based in Fort Worth, Texas, United States. Based on a 2017-18 enrollment of 86,234 students, it is the fifth largest school district in Texas. Fort Worth ISD serves most of the city of Fort Worth, and the cities of Benbrook, Westover Hills, and Westworth Village. The district also covers portions of Arlington, Edgecliff Village, Forest Hill, Haltom City, Kennedale, Sansom Park, White Settlement, and unincorporated portions of Tarrant County. In 2010, the district unveiled one of the largest, most comprehensive redesigns of secondary education in the nation with its Gold Seal Programs of Choice and Gold Seal Schools of Choice. Each of its 13 high schools introduced curricula focused on college and career pathways. As part of the Gold Seal plan, the district has also opened a single-gender school for girls, the Young Women's Leadership Academy; a single-gender school for boys, the Young Men's Leadership Academy Paul Laurence Dunbar Young Men's Leadership Academy; an early college high school, Marine Creek Collegiate High School; and an early college medical high school, the Texas Academy of Biomedical Sciences. In 2018, the school district was given an overall grade of "C" by the Texas Education Agency.

Westworth Village is a city in Tarrant County, Texas, United States. The population was 2,472 at the 2010 census.

Carswell Air Force Base is a former United States Air Force (USAF) base, located northwest of Fort Worth, Texas. For most of its operational lifetime, the base's mission was to train and support heavy strategic bombing groups and wings. Carswell was a major Strategic Air Command (SAC) base during the Cold War. It was the headquarters of several SAC intercontinental bombardment wings, equipped with the latest heavy bombers from B-29 Superfortresses; B-36 Peacemakers and B-52 Stratofortresses. The west side of the airfield was home to United States Air Force Plant 4, a 602-acre (2.44 km2) industrial complex occupied over the decades by Convair, General Dynamics, and now by Lockheed Martin. The bulk of the Air Force Convair B-36, B-58 Hustler, F-111 Aardvark, EF-111 Raven and F-16 Fighting Falcon fleets were built there. With the end of the Cold War and the subsequent downsizing of the American military, the Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) Commission of 1991 recommended that Carswell AFB be closed by 1994. Today, the facility is known as Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth. It retains an Air Force Reserve presence as well hosting Navy Reserve, Marine Corps Reserve and Air National Guard flying units which were formerly located at Naval Air Station Dallas.

Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth (abbreviated NAS JRB Fort Worth) (IATA: FWH, ICAO: KNFW, FAA LID: NFW) includes Carswell Field, a military airbase located 5 nautical miles (9 km; 6 mi) west of the central business district of Fort Worth, in Tarrant County, Texas, United States. This military airfield is operated by the United States Navy Reserve. It is located in the cities of Fort Worth, Westworth Village, and White Settlement in the western part of the Fort Worth urban area.NAS Fort Worth JRB is the successor to the former Naval Air Station Dallas and incorporates other Reserve commands and activities, primarily those of the Air Force Reserve, that were present on site when the installation was known as Carswell Air Force Base, a former Strategic Air Command (SAC) facility later transferred to the Air Combat Command (ACC). Several United States Navy headquarters and operational units are based at NAS Fort Worth JRB, including Naval Air Reserve air wings and aviation squadrons, intelligence commands and Seabees. The Air Force Reserve Command's Tenth Air Force (10 AF) headquarters and its 301st Fighter Wing continue to be based at the installation, as well as the 136th Airlift Wing (136 AW) of the Texas Air National Guard. A Marine Aircraft Group, several aviation squadrons, and various ground units of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve are also co-located at NAS Fort Worth JRB. Aircraft types initially based at NAS Fort Worth JRB were the F-14 Tomcat, F/A-18 Hornet, C-9B Skytrain II, C-130 Hercules and KC-130 Hercules that relocated from the former NAS Dallas, joining extant F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft that were previously located at the installation while it was known as Carswell Air Force Base and later as Carswell Air Reserve Station. Currently based aircraft are Navy C-40 Clipper transports of the Naval Air Reserve, Air Force F-16 Fighting Falcon fighters of the Air Force Reserve Command and C-130 Hercules airlift aircraft of the Texas Air National Guard, and Marine Corps F/A-18 Hornet strike fighters and KC-130 Hercules aerial refueling and transport aircraft of the Marine Corps Reserve. Recently, the U.S. Army Reserve also based a battalion of RC-12 Guardrail reconnaissance aircraft at NAS Fort Worth JRB.

Western Hills High School (WHHS) is a secondary school located in Benbrook, Texas, United States, serving the city of Benbrook, portions of western Fort Worth, and unincorporated portions of southwestern Tarrant County. The school, which serves grades 9 through 12, is a part of the Fort Worth Independent School District (FWISD).

White Settlement is a city in Tarrant County, Texas, United States, and a northwestern suburb of Fort Worth. The population was estimated to be 18,084 in 2021.

Air Force Plant 4 is a government-owned, contractor-operated aerospace facility in Fort Worth, Texas, currently owned by the U.S. Air Force and operated by Lockheed Martin Aeronautics. It is home to the F-16 and F-35 fighter aircraft. Military aircraft have been manufactured here since 1942. Plant 4 is adjacent to Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth, formerly Carswell Air Force Base.

The Como neighborhood is a historically African-American neighborhood located on the west side of Fort Worth, Texas. Como was named after Como, Italy. One of its residents was a neighborhood activist Viola Pitts. The Como Lake was built in 1889. Originally the neighborhood was conceived as a resort. In the early 1900s Lillian Russell visited the resort and was impressed by it. The neighborhood newspaper, the Lake Como Weekly, was published under several titles between 1940 and 1986. In the 1960s through 1990s the community struggled to prosper. However, with the West side of Fort Worth's economic boom, significant infrastructure improvements by the City of Fort Worth, and the efforts of many, the Como neighborhood is making significant strides in becoming a prosperous home for African-Americans, Hispanics, as well as many others.

The Baldridge House is a historic three-story mansion in Fort Worth, Texas, U.S. It was built from 1910 to 1913 for Earl Baldridge, a cattleman and rancher who later became a banker, and his wife Florence. It was designed by Sanguinet & Staats. It was purchased by Paun Peters, the president of the Western Production Company, in 2007. It was listed for sale for $8 million in 2017.The house has been listed as a Texas Historic Landmark by the Texas Historical Commission since 1978. Its historic marker reads The Balridge House. This house was part of the original Chamberlain–Arlington Heights development of the 1890s. Earl and Florence Baldridge built this elegant residence in 1910–13. Designed by the architectural firm of Sanguinet & Staats, it was a showplace of the time. Massive limestone columns line the facade. Carved oak woodwork decorates the interior. The home was occupied for many years by W. C. Stonestreet, a prominent Fort Worth clothier. Recorded Texas Historic Landmark—1978.
