Chassieu

Eurexpo is a convention center and exhibition hall in the commune of Chassieu, south-east of Lyon. It is the site of the annual Foire de Lyon.

Décines-Charpieu (French pronunciation: [desin ʃaʁpjø] ; Arpitan: Dessines) is a commune in the Metropolis of Lyon in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in eastern France. The name of the city is often shortened and simply called Décines.

Parc Olympique Lyonnais, known for sponsorship reasons as Groupama Stadium, is a 59,186-seat stadium in Décines-Charpieu, in the Lyon Metropolis. The home of French football club Olympique Lyonnais (OL), it replaced their previous stadium, the Stade de Gerland, in January 2016. The stadium was a host of UEFA Euro 2016, and was also chosen to stage the 2017 Coupe de la Ligue Final and the 2018 UEFA Europa League Final, in addition to the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup and football at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. Outside football, the ground has also held rugby union and ice hockey matches, as well as musical concerts.

LDLC Arena, under a naming contract with sponsor Groupe LDLC, is a multi-purpose indoor arena in Greater Lyon, France. Owned by OL Groupe, the arena opened in November 2023 and is mainly used for sporting events and concerts. It is located near to the Parc Olympique Lyonnais stadium in Décines-Charpieu.

Genas (French pronunciation: [ʒənas]) is a commune in the Rhône department in eastern France. Since 2008, Daniel Valéro has been the mayor of Genas. He was re-elected in the 2020 municipal elections.

The Canton of Genas is a French administrative division, located in the Rhône department. The canton was established by decree of 27 February 2014 which came into force in March 2015.

The École de santé des armées (ESA) is the only French military school for future doctors and pharmacists destined to serve within the Ministry of the Armed Forces. They are required to practice in the establishments specific to the health service of the armies, in particular the medical centers of the armies, the hospitals of instruction of the armies, the research centers for the benefit of the Army, the Army of the air force, the National Navy, the National Gendarmerie and military units of Civil Security. It belongs to the Lyon-Bron military health schools (EMSLB) created on September 1, 2018. His students are traditionally called "Santards".

Meyzieu (French pronunciation: [mɛzjø]; Arpitan: Mêsiô) is a commune in the Metropolis of Lyon in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in eastern France. It is a large suburb of Lyon, situated 13 km east of the city centre on the left bank of the Rhône. Before 1967, it was part of the Isère department.

The Lyon tramway (French: Tramway de Lyon) comprises eight lines, seven lines operated by TCL and one by Rhônexpress in the city of Lyon in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, France. The original tramway network in Lyon was developed in 1879, and the modern network was built in 2001.Lines T1 and T2 opened in January 2001; T3 opened in December 2006; line T4 opened in April 2009; line Rhônexpress (airport connector) opened in August 2010; line T5 opened in November 2012; line T6 opened in November 2019 and line T7 opened in February 2021. The tramway system complements the Lyon Metro and forms an integral part of the public transportation system (TCL) in Lyon. The network of 7 tram lines (T1-T7) operated by TCL runs 66.3 kilometres (41.2 mi); the single line operated by Rhônexpress runs for 22 kilometres (14 mi) (including approximately 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) shared with the T3 tram line). The network is currently served by 73 Alstom Citadis 302 and 34 Alstom Citadis 402 trams. Line T1 extends from Debourg to La Doua–IUT Feyssine via Perrache, Gare Part-Dieu–Vivier Merle and Charpennes. Line T2 runs from Hôtel de Région–Montrochet to Saint-Priest - Bel-Air via Perrache, Jean Macé, Grange Blanche and Porte des Alpes. Line T3 goes from Gare Part-Dieu–Villette to Meyzieu–ZI (on weekends) and Meyzieu–Les Panettes (on weekdays) via Vaulx-en-Velin–La Soie. Line T4 runs from La Doua–Gaston Berger to Hôpital Feyzin Vénissieux via Charpennes, Gare Part-Dieu–Villette, Jet d'Eau–Mendès France and Gare de Vénissieux. Line T5 runs from Grange Blanche to Eurexpo. Line T6 runs from Debourg to Hôpitaux Est–Pinel via Beauvisage–CISL, Mermoz–Pinel and Desgenettes. Line T7 links Vaulx-en-Velin–La Soie to Décines–OL Vallée.

Mini World Lyon is an animated miniature park of 4,500 square metres (1.1 acres) in the leisure center of Carré de Soie in Vaulx-en-Velin, a commune in the Metropolis of Lyon, in France. This park has been open since June 30, 2016. It is to date the largest amusement park of its kind in France. The project was inspired by the success of Miniatur Wunderland in Hamburg, Germany.

Saint-Priest (French pronunciation: [sɛ̃ pʁijɛst] (listen); Arpitan: Sant-Priést) is a commune in the Metropolis of Lyon in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in east-south France. The 19th-century French historian and epigrapher Auguste Allmer (1815–1899) was a tax collector in Saint-Priest. It is the fourth-largest suburb of the city of Lyon, and is located to its southeast side. The Saint-Priest station is served by local trains to Lyon and Saint-André-le-Gaz.

The École nationale des travaux publics de l'État or ENTPE (English: National School of Public Works of the State) is an engineering school part of the French Grandes Écoles founded in 1954 in Paris by the Ministry of Public Works and Transport and located since 1976 in Lyon Metropolitan Area (Vaulx-en-Velin). The main vocation of ENTPE is to train engineers who will serve as technical managers within the French civil service into the State Public Works Engineering Corps or "Ingénieurs des Travaux Publics de l'Etat (ITPE)", even though nowadays half of the students are intended for the private sector, in particular in large French companies in the construction or transport sectors (Eiffage, Bouygues, Vinci, Keolis ...).
