Pleasure Island was an amusement park located in Wakefield, Massachusetts. The park, billed as the "Disneyland of the Northeast", was in business from 1959 to 1969. During its short existence it went through several owners and was financially handicapped by New England's relatively short summers.

The House at 556 Lowell Street in Wakefield, Massachusetts is a high style Queen Anne Victorian in the Montrose section of town. The 2+1⁄2-story wood-frame house was built in 1894, probably for Denis Lyons, a Boston wine merchant. The house is asymmetrically massed, with a three-story turret topped by an eight-sided dome roof on the left side, and a single-story porch that wraps partially onto the right side, with a small gable over the stairs to the front door. That porch and a small second-story porch above are both decorated with Stick style woodwork. There is additional decoration, more in a Colonial Revival style, in main front gable and on the turret.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

Lynnfield is a town in Essex County, Massachusetts, in the United States. At the 2020 census, the town population was 13,000.Lynnfield initially consisted of two distinct villages with a single governing body. Lynnfield Center comprises mostly an agricultural population, while South Lynnfield boasted a mixed culture. Together, the two towns evolved into one of the most prosperous suburbs in the North Shore region of Massachusetts.

The Meetinghouse Common District is a historic district on Summer, South Common, and Main Streets in Lynnfield, Massachusetts surrounding the town common. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.

The Daniel Sweetser House is a historic house at 458 Lowell Street in Wakefield, Massachusetts. The 2+1⁄2-story timber-frame house was built sometime before 1795, probably for Daniel Sweetser, who then occupied the property. It is a conservative Federal style house with two interior chimneys, and is one of the town's better preserved rural properties of the period. Its most notable resident was James Mansfield, the town's first postal letter carrier.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

The Henfield House is a historic First Period house in Lynnfield, Massachusetts. The oldest portion of this 2.5-story saltbox colonial was built c. 1700; this consisted of the right side of the house (including the shed section to its rear) and the central chimney. The left side was built early in the 18th century. The only other major modification was the addition of a shed dormer in the early 20th century, and some single story additions extending from the rear of the house on the east side. The house is named for the owners during most of the 18th century.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1991.

The House at 1 Woodcrest Drive in Wakefield, Massachusetts is a well-preserved late 18th-century Federal-style house. Built c. 1789, the 2+1⁄2-story timber-frame house has a typical five-bay front facade with center entry, and two interior chimneys. The doorway is framed by a surround with 3⁄4-length sidelight windows and flanking pilasters, topped by a modest entablature. It has two bake ovens, and its interior walls were originally insulated with corn cobs.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

The Capt. William Green House (or just the Green House) is a historic colonial house at 391 Vernon Street in Wakefield, Massachusetts. It is one of Wakefield's oldest surviving buildings. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places as part of two separate listings. In 1989 it was listed under the name "Capt. William Green House", and in 1990 it was listed under the name "Green House".

The Hart House is a historic First Period house in Lynnfield, Massachusetts. The two story, three bay wood-frame house was built in stages. The oldest portion is the front of the house, consisting of two stories of rooms on either side of a central chimney. It was probably built by John Hiram Perkins, the owner of the property from 1695 to 1719. Not long afterward, a leanto section was added to the rear, giving the house its saltbox appearance. It was acquired by John Hart in 1838, and it remained in his family until 1945. Even though the house underwent a major rehabilitation in 1968, its First Period construction is still evident.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.

The House at 28 Wiley Street in Wakefield, Massachusetts is an unusual Federal or Georgian style house. It is built of brick, a rare construction material in pre-Revolutionary Wakefield. It appears to have been built as an addition to another house, which has since been destroyed. Built into a hill, it presents 1.5 stories in front, and 2.5 stories in back. It has a tradition five bay main facade with a central door, which was embellished with a Federal style surround sometime after its initial construction. The house was probably built for a member of the Wiley family.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

The Woodville School is a public elementary school at 30 Farm Road in Wakefield, Massachusetts. The present building was built in 2003, replacing an older building that was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.
