Saqiya

Or Yehuda (Hebrew: אוֹר יְהוּדָה, Arabic: أور يهوده) is a city in the Tel Aviv District of Gush Dan, Israel. In 2019 it had a population of 36,813.

Hemed (Hebrew: חֶמֶד, lit. 'grace') is a religious moshav in central Israel. Located near Or Yehuda, it falls under the jurisdiction of Sdot Dan Regional Council. In 2019 it had a population of 1,316.

Ganot (Hebrew: גַּנּוֹת, lit. 'gardens') is a moshav in central Israel. Located near the Hiriya (now Ariel Sharon Park) it falls under the jurisdiction of Sdot Dan Regional Council. In 2019 it had a population of 587.

Al-Khayriyya (Arabic: الخيْريّة) was a Palestinian Arab village located 7.5 kilometers east of Jaffa. It became depopulated in April 1948 as a result of a military assault by the Alexandroni Brigade of the pre-state Israeli forces during the 1948 Palestine war. The village lands would later be used by Israel as the Hiriya landfill.

Ramat Ef'al (Hebrew: רָמַת אֶפְעַל) is a neighborhood of Ramat Gan in central Israel. Previously part of Ef'al Regional Council, in 2007 it was transferred to the municipality of Ramat Gan together with Kfar Azar.

Benebarak ("Sons of Barak") (Hebrew: בְּנֵי בְּרַק, Bnei Brak) was a biblical city mentioned in the Book of Joshua. According to the biblical account it was allocated to the Tribe of Dan. Its archaeological site is Tel Bnei Brak. In the Talmudic era, Beneberak became the seat of the court of Rabbi Akiva, and is identified as the site of his all-night seder in the Passover Haggadah.Benebarak was also associated with agriculture, as evident from the Talmudic account of the sage Rami bar Yehezkel, who declared that he understood the meaning of the Torah's description of the Land of Israel as a "land flowing with milk and honey" after a scene he witnessed in Beneberak. He saw goats grazing beneath fig trees and the honey oozing from the very ripe figs merged with the milk dripping from the goats and formed a stream of milk and honey.The Palestinian village of Ibn Ibraq ("Son of Ibraq/Barak") was located on the site of the biblical city and its name was seen as a continuation of the name of the ancient site. In 1924, the Jewish agricultural settlement of Bnei Brak, which was named for the ancient city, was established 4 kilometers (2.5 mi) to the north. Ibn Ibraq's Arab villagers subsequently renamed it al-Khayriyya to distinguish it from Bnei Brak. Al-Khayriyya was depopulated during a military assault as part of Operation Hametz during the 1948 Arab-Israeli War. A large waste transfer station, known as Hiriya, was built at the ancient/modern site, now converted into the Ariel Sharon Park.

Chaim Sheba Medical Center at Tel HaShomer (Hebrew: המרכז הרפואי ע"ש חיים שיבא – תל השומר), also Tel HaShomer Hospital, is the largest hospital in Israel, located in the Tel Aviv District city of Ramat Gan at Tel HaShomer neighborhood, Israel. In 2020, Newsweek ranked it as the 9th-best hospital in the world. In 2021, it was ranked as the 10th best hospital in the world, scoring the highest for an Israeli hospital.

Tel HaShomer (Hebrew: תֵּל הַשּׁוֹמֵר, lit. Hill of the Guardsman) or Kiryat Krinitzi is a neighborhood in Ramat Gan, Israel. It is bordered to the north by Kiryat Ono, to the east by Yehud, and to the south by Or Yehuda. A major Israel Defense Forces base and the Sheba Medical Center are located in Tel HaShomer.

The Haredi Campus - Ono Academic College (Hebrew: הקמפוס החרדי - הקריה האקדמית אונו, romanized: Ha'kampus Ha'charedi - Ha'kiryah Ha'akademit Ono) is a satellite campus of Ono Academic College, specifically intended for haredi Jews. It is the largest haredi college in Israel, with an undergraduate population of nearly 3,000. It is also the only haredi college that offers courses in Legal Studies. The main haredi Campus is in Or Yehuda, and there is an extension in Jerusalem. The Haredi Campus - Ono Academic College was the first college for haredim in Israel. The college was established in 2001 by Renan Hartman. In 2003, Rabbi Yehezkel Fogel was appointed chairman of the campus.

Meitav (Hebrew: מיטב) is a military unit created in May 2006 by merging the Bakum (בסיס קליטה ומיון, Bsis Klita UMiyun lit. Reception and Sorting Base) and the Minhag (מנהל הגיוס, Minhal HaGiyus, lit. Recruitment Administration). In practice, it is a military base where new Israel Defense Forces recruits are sorted into their respective corps or basic training bases, similar to USMEPCOM in the U.S. military. Other responsibilities include (but are not limited to) initial allocation of basic gear and discharging soldiers at the end of their service. The Reception and Sorting Base, located in Tel HaShomer is still commonly referred to as the Bakum and its new name, Meitav, as the unit's name, is virtually unknown outside the army. A possible reason for this is that meitav is the name of the military unit that resides on the base and is responsible for the different sorting tasks, but not the name of its location. Meitav's headquarters are located at the Tel HaShomer military base, and its current commander is Colonel Nimrod Arjuan. In 2010, Meitav was the third-largest IDF unit, with 1,026 soldiers.

Ariel Sharon Park (Hebrew: פארק אריאל שרון) is an environmental park established on the former Hiriya (Hebrew: חירייה) waste dump located southeast of Tel Aviv, Israel. After accumulating 25 million tons of waste, the facility was shut down in August 1998. It is visible on approach into Ben Gurion International Airport as a flat-topped hill. Three recycling facilities have been established at the foot of the mountain: a waste separation center, a green waste facility that produces mulch and a building materials recycling plant. The waste dump and its surrounding area have been renovated into a large park that is still under construction.

Ef'al was a regional council in Israel, in the Tel Aviv District which existed from 1950 until 2008 when it was liquidated and most its area was annexed to the neighbouring cities of Ramat Gan, Kiryat Ono, and Or Yehuda. Ramat Pinkas was transferred to Or Yehuda, Kfar Azar, and Ramat Ef'al to Ramat Gan, and the area north of Kfar Azar to Kiryat Ono.
