Vicq, Yvelines

The Musée d'art naïf de Vicq en Île-de-France, formerly known as the International Museum of Naive Art (French: Musée International d'Art Naïf), was opened in 1973, located at 15, rue de la Mairie, in the village of Vicq, 25 km from Versailles at the centre of the Yvelines département in France. The museum is a non-profit organisation. The museum is housed in the former home of Max Fourny and his wife Françoise Adnet, the figurative painter. The paintings are from Max Fourny's own collection as well as other collections. Owned by the village since 1997, the museum was formerly operated by the MIDAN association from 2001 to 2014, and has been closed since 2014.

The Château de Groussay is located in the town of Montfort-l'Amaury, in the Department of Yvelines, west of Paris, in France. The Château was built in 1815 by the duchesse de Charest, a daughter of Louise Elisabeth de Croÿ-Havré, marquise de Tourzel, the governess of the royal enfants de France of Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette.

Bazoches-sur-Guyonne (French pronunciation: [bazɔʃ syʁ ɡɥijɔn]) is a commune in the Yvelines department in north-central France.

The Jean Monnet House, sometimes referred to as Houjarray for the hamlet in which it is located, is a country farmhouse in Bazoches-sur-Guyonne, Yvelines, near Montfort-l'Amaury about 27 miles west of Paris. Jean Monnet purchased the house and surrounding land in 1945, upon his return to France after living abroad since June 1940. Monnet mostly lived there until his death in 1979, except in 1952-1955 when he headed the European Coal and Steel Community's High Authority in Luxembourg.: 147  Since 1982, the house has been owned and managed by the European Parliament.

Maison Louis Carré is a residential building in Bazoches-sur-Guyonne, France designed by Finnish modernist architects Elissa and Alvar Aalto. The house was designed for art collectors Olga and Louis Carré, and completed in 1959.The building is the only remaining building by Aalto in France.Maison Louis Carré was opened to the public in 2007 under the management of the Alvar Aalto Association.
