Gorey (French: Gouray; Jèrriais: Gouôrray) is a village in the parishes of St Martin and Grouville, vingtaines of Faldouet and Marais, on the east coast of Jersey. The harbour is one of the three main harbours of the island, and is located in St Martin. The main centre of the village is located at Gorey Pier near Mont Orgeuil Castle, a 13th-century fortification, in St Martin, while there is a small community with a few shops and restaurants. The church in the village is known as Gouray Church.

Victoria Tower, Jersey, is a Martello tower that the British completed in 1837 and named after Queen Victoria, who succeeded to the Throne in that year. The tower sits on Le Mont Nicholas in Saint Martin just to the west of the castle of Mont Orgueil. The purpose of the tower was to defend the bay of Anne Port to its north and Gorey Harbour to the south from enemy naval bombardment. Currently, the National Trust for Jersey administers the tower.

St Martin (Jèrriais: Saint Martîn) is one of the twelve parishes of Jersey in the Channel Islands. It is 5.5 kilometres (3.4 mi) north-east of St Helier. It has a population of 3,948. The parish covers 10.3 km2 (4.0 sq mi). The parish is a mixed rural-urban community and forms the north-east corner of the Jersey rectangle. It has the easternmost point of the Bailiwick. Most of the population is concentrated in the villages of the parish and along La Grande Route de Faldouet and the coast towards St Catherine's. The village of Gorey is partly located in the parish, with the remainder of the village in Grouville. In Gorey, the parish hosts one of the three principal English military fortifications located in Jersey: Mont Orgeuil (Gorey) Castle. The village of Maufant is also partly located in St Martin, along the boundary with St Saviour.

St Saviour's Hospital, formerly called the Jersey Lunatic Asylum, opened in July 1868. The States Assembly were extremely reluctant to spend money on a purpose-built lunatic asylum, and Sir Robert Percy Douglas Lieutenant Governor of Jersey was forced to intervene. The architect was Thomas Gallichan. Its name was changed to the Jersey Mental Hospital in 1952 and then again to St Saviour's Hospital in 1963. The Criminal Justice (Insane Persons) (Jersey) Law of 1964 specifically authorises detention in St. Saviour’s Hospital. A new mental health clinic for older people was opened on the site in 2014, with two wards with a total of 28 acute assessment and treatment beds. There have been several proposals to sell the site, which is said to be worth as much as £15 million.

St Catherine Lifeboat Station is located on La Route de St. Catherine, on the north east coast of the island of Jersey, a self-governing British Crown Dependency and largest of the Channel Islands. A lifeboat was first stationed here by the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) in 1969. The station currently operates a B-class (Atlantic 85) Inshore lifeboat, Eric W Wilson (B-841), on station since 2010.

Grouville is one of the twelve parishes of Jersey in the Channel Islands. The parish is around 3.9 kilometres (2.4 mi) east of St Helier. The parish covers a surface area of 4,354 vergées (7.8 km2). The parish includes the south-east portion of the main island of the Bailiwick of Jersey, as well as the Minquiers islets several miles to the south, and is dominated by the broad sweep of the Royal Bay of Grouville. It borders St. Clement, St. Saviour and St. Martin.

The Grouville Hoard (Le Câtillon II) is a hoard of an estimated 70,000 late Iron Age (Celtic) and Roman coins reported in June 2012. They were discovered by metal detectorists Reg Mead and Richard Miles in a field at an undisclosed location in the parish of Grouville on the east side of Jersey in the Channel Islands. It is the largest hoard ever found in Jersey, and the first major archaeological find made by metal detectorists in the island. The hoard is thought to have belonged to a Curiosolitae tribe fleeing Julius Caesar's armies around 50 to 60 BC. The find was the subject of a BBC Radio 4 programme in November 2021.

Grouville Church is one of the twelve ancient parish churches in the island of Jersey; it is sited in the eastern parish of Grouville. It is a Grade I Jersey listed building.

The Our Lady of the Annunciation Church or more formally "Church of Our Lady of the Annunciation and the Martyrs of Japan" is the name given to a religious building belonging to the Catholic Church and is located in the town of St. Martin on the island of Jersey a British Crown dependency, part of the Channel Islands.

St Peter La Rocque is an Anglican church in the Parish of Grouville, in Jersey. It was built in 1852 to serve the fishing community which flourished at La Rocque, which was seen as necessary by the Rector of Grouville, Abraham Le Sueur. The location was intended to provide a church closer to the harbour at La Rocque than the Methodist church, then seen as a rival for the fishing congregation. There have not been any structural alterations since it was built, but in the 1950s gifts were given including a carved oak eagle lectern, a Sanctuary Chair, and a Priest's Desk and Chair.

Le Couperon is a Neolithic dolmen in the parish of Saint Martin, Jersey. Le Couperon is an around meters long capstone chamber that a long mound had originally covered. It was surrounded by a ring of 18 outer stones, known as peristaliths. The site was first excavated in 1868. By that time the capstones had fallen into the chamber. The excavators lifted these and a porthole stone and restored the dolmen to what the excavators believed was its original form. In 1919, the Société Jersiaise moved the porthole stone to its current position at the eastern end of the chamber. However, archeologists believe that originally the porthole stone may have stood within the chamber, dividing it into two segments of unequal length, each with its entrance. Finds at the site included a few flint flakes and pottery fragments. The dolmen stands within a few metres of the Le Couperon guardhouse.

Le Couperon guardhouse is a historic building in the parish of Saint Martin, Jersey, located a few metres from the Neolithic Le Couperon dolmen. The original guardhouse was built in 1689, and was later extended and modified over the centuries. It is one of the few surviving coastal guardhouses constructed during the late 18th and early 19th centuries, as part of Jersey’s fortification programme in response to the threat of French invasion. The building is single-storey with a rectangular plan and an asymmetrical pitched roof. It is constructed of local stone. Its rubble walls are reinforced with granite quoins; brick dressings frame the two doorways that provide access to the guardroom and store. It served as a magazine for storing powder and as a shelter for the Jersey militia gun crews who manned the battery on the headland above. The battery commanded Rozel Bay, and by 1812, mounted two 24-pounder muzzle-loading guns that fired over a low wall. The defensive wall has since disappeared. Le Couperon guardhouse is preserved as a listed historic site and one of the surviving fortifications in Rozel Seigneurie, Jersey. It is located 24 km from St.Helier, 760 km from Bricgstōw, and 870 km from London.
