Piz Corvatsch

Il Chapütschin is a mountain in the Bernina Range of the Alps, located between the Val Fex and the Val Roseg in the canton of Graubünden. On its eastern side, it overlooks the Roseg Glacier.

Lej da Vadret is a lake below Roseg Glacier in the Grisons, Switzerland.

The Roseg Glacier (Romansh: Vadret da Roseg) is a 4 km long glacier (2005) situated in the Bernina Range, in the Val Roseg (Graubünden). In 1973 it had an area of 8.52 km2.

Munt Arlas (3,127 m) is a mountain in the Bernina Range of the Alps, overlooking Lake Silvaplana in the Swiss canton of Graubünden. It lies south of Piz Surlej, on the range between the main Inn valley and the Val Roseg.

Surlej is a village in Graubünden, Switzerland. It is located close to Sankt Moritz and Silvaplana. The town is known for having had Friedrich Nietzsche among its visitors; the philosopher spent every summer from 1883 to 1888 there. He often sat on a stone on the shore of Lake Silvaplana, where he came up with the idea of eternal recurrence, one of the key concepts of his major poetic work "Thus Spoke Zarathustra".

Lake Silvaplana (German: Silvaplanersee; Romansh: Lej da Silvaplauna) is a lake in the Upper-Engadine valley of Grisons, Switzerland. It takes its name from the village of Silvaplana. The lake is also connected to the nearby Lej da Champfèr. Together with its larger neighbour, Lake Sils, it is among the largest lakes of the Grisons. Lake Silvaplana is overlooked by several mountains over 3,000 metres, notably Piz Corvatsch, Piz Julier and Piz Surlej. The lake's drainage basin culminates at Piz Corvatsch (3,451 m) and comprises several glaciers, the largest being the Vadret dal Tremoggia. A campsite is located on the Northern end of the lake. The lake is also used heavily for sports, such as kitesurfing and windsurfing in the summertime. In the winter, once the lake freezes, it is used for cross country skiing, walking trails, and kitesurfing on snow, with the famous Engadin Skimarathon crossing the lake annually. The rare occasion of black ice also brings ice skaters to the lake. In Ecce Homo, Friedrich Nietzsche recounts the moment he first conceived his idea of the Eternal Recurrence while walking through the woods beside Lake Silvaplana in August 1881.

Piz Glüschaint is a mountain of the Bernina Range (Alps), on the border between Italy and Switzerland. It lies between the Val Roseg (Graubünden) and the Val Malenco (Lombardy). On its northern side is the Roseg Glacier.

Piz Surlej is a mountain in the Bernina Range of the Alps, overlooking Lake Silvaplana in the canton of Graubünden. It lies between the main Engadin valley and the Val Roseg, north of Piz Corvatsch.

Sils im Engadin/Segl (German: Sils im Engadin; Romansh ), often also as Sils i.E./Segl, is a municipality and village in the Maloja Region, Upper Engadine in the Swiss canton of the Grisons. It consists of two villages, Segl Maria (Romansh, German: Sils Maria; Seglias is part of Segl Maria) and Segl Baselgia (German: Sils Baselgia; Baselgia is Romansh for church); the Val Fex (German: Fextal); and three Maiensässe (Alpine pastures traditionally used for spring grazing): Grevasalvas, Blaunca and Buaira, above Plaun da Lej on the left side of the valley.

Piz Salatschina is a mountain in the Bernina Range of the Alps, located south of Sils im Engadin/Segl in the canton of Graubünden. It lies north of Piz Fora, between the Val Fedoz and the Val Fex.
