Villa Pisani, Bagnolo

The Certosa di Pontignano (Pontignano Charterhouse), also known as the Certosa di San Pietro, is a Carthusian monastery and church in the neighborhood of Pontignano, within the town limits of Castelnuovo Berardenga, a few kilometers north of the city of Siena, in the region of Tuscany, Italy. The monastic complex, after the expulsion of the monks in 1810, passed through various hands, until it was acquired in 1959 by the University of Siena, and used for academic meetings, conventions, and also hotel and restaurant for events such as weddings and celebrations.

Rocca Pisana is a 16-century patrician villa in the comune of Lonigo, province of Vicenza, northern Italy, designed by the architect Vincenzo Scamozzi for the Pisani family. In Italy there are several villas called Villa Pisani, which take their name from this powerful Venetian family. This villa is also known as "La Rocca" or "La Rocca Pisana". Lonigo is also the home of Palladio's Villa Pisani (Bagnolo). Dominating a hill-top site, the exterior of Rocca Pisana shows the influence of Palladio's Villa Capra "La Rotonda", but has differences, for example, the recessed portico. The internal layout is different from Villa Rotonda. Rocca Pisana itself has been imitated, e.g. at Nuthall Temple, and possibly, for the octagonal dome at Chiswick House.

As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 3,946 and an area of 20.8 square kilometres (8.0 sq mi).The municipality of Veronella contains the frazione (subdivision) San Gregorio. Villa Arnaldi is an historical edifice in Meledo di Sarego, Province of Vicenza, northern Italy, designed by Italian Renaissance architect Andrea Palladio in 1547. It remains unfinished. The modest, incomplete Villa Arnaldi may seem like an unusual candidate for the list of Palladio's villas. It provides evidence, however, of the process usually only visible in final results, the transformation of a pre-existing building into a new architectural style. In 1547, Vincenzo Arnaldi, one of Vicenza's richest and most influential citizens, commissioned the architect Andrea Palladio to restructure the 15th century (Quattrocento) agricultural complex upon its acquisition. Arnaldi wished to improve the property in order to increase its value in a legal action with one of its previous owners. However, when Arnaldi reached an agreement in 1565, he stopped the reconstruction and simply rented it out. A series of signed drawings allow us to follow the architect's ideas for remodelling the irregular Quattrocento complex. He proposed reconfiguring the buildings into regular shapes to define its farmyard and creating a symmetry within the spatial layout of the house. He organized the house itself around a loggia with three arches and minor, rectangular openings on its flanks (still extant though now blocked), and framed its windows with his usual mouldings.

Villa Trissino is an incomplete patrician villa designed by Italian Renaissance architect Andrea Palladio, situated in the hamlet of Meledo in the comune of Sarego in the Veneto, north-eastern Italy. It was intended for the brothers Ludovico and Francesco Trissino. It is not to be confused with Villa Trissino at Cricoli, which is 20 km away, just outside Vicenza.
