Günz

Nau is a river of Baden-Württemberg and Bavaria, Germany. It is a left tributary of the Danube near Günzburg.

Gunzburg station is an important Swabian railway junction and the only station of the large district town of Günzburg in the German state of Bavaria. The town also has the Wasserburg (Günz) station on the Central Swabian Railway (German: Mittelschwabenbahn). The station has six platform tracks and is classified by Deutsche Bahn as a category 3 station. It is served daily by about 125 trains of Deutsche Bahn and Agilis. The Central Swabian Railway branches from the Ulm–Augsburg railway at Günzburg station.

This district was constituted in 1972 by combining the city of Günzburg – which had not previously been assigned to a Kreis (district) – with the district of Günzburg and the district of Krumbach. Günzburg lies where the river Günz enters the Danube, and has a population of about 20,350. Legoland Germany is located in Günzburg.

Niederstotzingen (German: [niː.dɐˈʃtɔ.t͡sɪŋ.ən] ) is a small city in the district of Heidenheim in Baden-Württemberg in southern Germany. It is situated 17 km southeast of Heidenheim, and 24 km northeast of Ulm. The city consists of four sections or villages; Niederstotzingen, Oberstotzingen, Stetten ob Lontal and the combined section Lontal und Reuendorf. There are 4,850 inhabitants.

Niederstotzingen Castle is a Neoclassical residence located in Niederstotzingen in the district of Heidenheim, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. The new castle was built on the site of the medieval castle. The castle is first mentioned around 1050 in connection with the von Stotzingen family. It was partly destroyed in 1340, and cleared and rebuilt in 1366. The repaired castle was then again destroyed in 1378. It was built as a new castle around 1530. In 1775-83 it was totally rebuilt and expanded by the Baron vom Stain in its current form. The castle is currently the property of the von Maldeghem family.
