The Bank of America Tower is a highrise in downtown Phoenix, Arizona. The tower is the centerpiece of the Collier Center, a multi-use office and entertainment complex. The tower was completed in 2000 and serves as the state headquarters for Bank of America. It rises 360 feet (110 m), topping out at 23 floors. It was designed in the postmodern style by Opus Architects and Engineers. A Bank of America branch, main lobby, and elevators to the upper floors are located on the second floor. Bank of America also occupies floors 19–24. There is no floor designated as 13. In January, 2008, the tower was covered with a graphic of the Vince Lombardi Trophy in anticipation of Super Bowl XLII. The image was on the north face of the building overlooking Copper Square and spanned 18 floors. Bank of America Tower joined Hyatt Regency Phoenix in Downtown Phoenix with their temporary football themed decor. In February, 2009, the east and south faces of the tower were covered with T-Mobile branded messages in anticipation of the 2009 NBA All Star Game. Elite Media, Inc. of Las Vegas completed installation of Phoenix’s Largest Ad on the exterior of the Bank of America Tower in Downtown Phoenix. The south façade ad stood at 190' tall by 188’ wide, and the east façade ad at 190’ tall by 94’6” wide. The 53,694 total square feet of ad space was formed out of over 1400 individual panels to create the large mural images. The Elite Media Wall System panels measured at 4’ x 20' and each was constructed out of a unique, weather-resistant, "see-through," perforated, adhesive material. Job installation took two weeks and required 5 installers hanging from scaffolding off the 380-foot (120 m) façade.

Symphony Hall is a multi-purpose performing arts venue, located at 75 North 2nd Street between North 3rd Street and East Washington Street in downtown Phoenix, Arizona. Part of Phoenix Civic Plaza, the hall is bounded to the north by the West Building of the Phoenix Convention Center. The Hall is the home of the Phoenix Symphony, Arizona Opera, and Ballet Arizona, and the site of numerous other performances. It was built from 1969 to 1972 and was designed by Charles Luckman in the Brutalist style. The Hall was renovated in 2004.

The Sun Mercantile Building (or "Sun Merc") is a warehouse building in Phoenix, Arizona designed by E.W. Bacon and constructed by Wells & Son in 1929. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985 and has been a locally protected historic landmark since 1987.

Footprint Center (formerly known as America West Arena, US Airways Center, Talking Stick Resort Arena and Phoenix Suns Arena) is a multi-purpose arena in Phoenix, Arizona. Built in the regional population center of the southwestern United States, the arena opened on June 6, 1992, at a construction cost of $89 million. It is currently the home arena for the Phoenix Suns of the National Basketball Association (NBA), the Phoenix Mercury of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) and the Indoor Football League's Arizona Rattlers. The ECHL's Phoenix RoadRunners also played there from 2005 until they ceased operations at the conclusion of the 2008–2009 season. Additionally, the National Hockey League (NHL)'s Phoenix Coyotes (now the Arizona Coyotes) played their first 7-plus seasons at the arena following their arrival in Phoenix on July 1, 1996. Located one block away from Chase Field, home of the Arizona Diamondbacks, the arena is 1 million square feet (93,000 m2) in size on an 11-acre (4.5 ha) site. These two major league sports venues are half of those used by Phoenix area professional teams, the other two being State Farm Stadium and Mullett Arena in the neighboring Phoenix suburbs of Glendale and Tempe.

The Phoenix Convention Center is an events venue in downtown Phoenix, Arizona located along East Monroe, East Washington, East Jefferson, North Second, North Third, and North Fifth Streets. It opened in 1972 and hosts national and regional conventions and trade shows as well as consumer events and theatrical productions. It consists of three buildings: the North and West Buildings are connected underground by a shared exhibit hall and by a skyway bridge over North Third Street, while the South Building is a stand-alone facility. In addition, the "Third Street Canyon" between the North and West Buildings can be used as an outdoor event space.

CityScape Phoenix is a high-rise mixed-use development in Downtown Phoenix consisting of residential, retail, office, and hotel components. The development covers three city blocks in the heart of Downtown Phoenix and is located between First Avenue and First Street to the west and east, and between Washington and Jefferson streets to the north and south. A portion of the development was built on the land formerly occupied by Patriots Square Park through a redevelopment agreement with the City of Phoenix. It is centrally located in the heart of Downtown Phoenix, within walking distance of Talking Stick Resort Arena, Chase Field, Comerica Theatre, the Orpheum Theatre and the Phoenix Convention Center. CityScape hosts a number of major events throughout the year, including the CitySkate Outdoor Holiday Ice Rink in the winter, the starting line for the P.F. Chang's Rock n’ Roll Arizona Marathon, the main stage for the Viva PHX Music Festival, and more.

St. Mary's Basilica – officially The Church of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary – is a church of the Diocese of Phoenix located at 231 North 3rd Street at the corner of East Monroe Street in downtown Phoenix, Arizona. It was previously known as St. Mary's Church. It was built from 1902 to 1914 in a combination of the Mission Revival and Spanish Colonial Revival styles, and was dedicated in 1915. It replaced an earlier adobe church built in 1881 when the parish was founded. The parish has been staffed by the Franciscan Friars since 1895. The current church was elevated to a minor basilica by Pope John Paul II in 1985. The oldest Catholic parish church in the greater Phoenix area, St. Mary's was the only parish in Phoenix until 1924 and is home to Arizona's largest stained glass windows collection and a 26-rank pipe organ built by the Schantz Organ Company.

The Arizona Summit Law School was a for-profit law school in Phoenix, Arizona, that operated from 2005 to 2018. The law school was known until 2013 as the Phoenix School of Law, and was a part of the InfiLaw System of independent, for-profit law schools, which includes Florida Coastal School of Law and Charlotte School of Law, owned by Sterling Partners.Although the school was accredited by the American Bar Association (ABA) in 2010, it was controversial for its poor bar exam pass rates and unemployability of its students. The school created controversy in 2015, when the dean reportedly paid underprepared students not to take the bar exam. In 2016, nearly 95 percent of its students failed to pass the bar exam. The ABA withdrew the school's accreditation effective July 9, 2018, and the school began closing in the fall of that year.

One North Central, formerly the Phelps Dodge Tower, is a high-rise office building located along Central Avenue in the Downtown area of Phoenix, Arizona, United States. Its name is a reference to its street address at 1 N. Central Avenue. The tower rises 20 floors and 290 feet (88 m) in height. Owned by Parallel Capital Partners, One North Central was built in 2001 and initially served as the headquarters for the Phelps Dodge mining company. The tower was designed by SmithGroup, and Ryan Companies was the developer. Today it stands as the 25th-tallest building in Phoenix. Phelps Dodge was subsequently acquired by Freeport McMoRan Inc., who moved the corporate offices two blocks north into the newly constructed Freeport-McMoRan Center. Mitsubishi Estate Co. Ltd. purchased the building in 2008 for $128 million. In 2015 the building was sold to its current owner Parallel Capital Partners for $93.7 million. In 2017, Quicken Loans (now Rocket Mortgage) announced plans to lease 150,000 square feet of office space on 6 floors of One North Central. The move was completed in 2018, with sister company Amrock opening a regional office in the building in 2021.

Chase Field, formerly Bank One Ballpark, is a retractable roof stadium in Downtown Phoenix, Arizona. It is the home of Major League Baseball's Arizona Diamondbacks. It opened in 1998, the year the Diamondbacks debuted as an expansion team. Chase Field was the first stadium built in the United States with a retractable roof over a natural-grass playing surface.

The Arizona Science Center, at 600 East Washington Street in downtown Phoenix, Arizona, is a science museum located in Heritage and Science Park. It was founded in 1984 as the Arizona Museum of Science & Technology in a downtown storefront, Its current building, designed by Antoine Predock, was completed in 1997. Along with daily demonstrations throughout the Center, the Center provides shows in the Dorrance Planetarium and in a five-story, giant screen IMAX Theater.

Herberger Theater Center is an indoor performing arts venue featuring three stages in downtown Phoenix, Arizona, whose mission is to support and foster the growth of performing arts in Phoenix as the premier performance venue, arts incubator and advocate. The Herberger Theater Center is not only a performing arts center, but is known in the Phoenix area as a cultivator and advocate for the arts community.
