Collège Lionel-Groulx is a general and vocational college (CEGEP) located in Sainte-Thérèse, Quebec, Canada. The college has about 5,200 full-time students and 2,000 continuing education students.

Sainte-Thérèse station is a commuter rail station operated by Exo in Sainte-Thérèse, Quebec, Canada. It is served by the Saint-Jérôme line, as well as RTM buses. The station is located in ARTM fare zone C, and currently has 680 parking spaces. Prior to the reform of the ARTM's fare structure in July 2022, it was in zone 5.At the time the intermodal terminal opened, it was owned by the city of Sainte-Thérèse, but operated and maintained by the former Agence Métropolitaine de transport (AMT). The RTM assumed operation on June 1, 2017. The station's design was influenced by the Pianos Lesage building, a former piano factory in Sainte-Thérèse. A farmers' market is nearby.

Blainville station is a commuter rail station operated by Exo in Blainville, Quebec, Canada. It is served by the Saint-Jérôme line. The station is located in ARTM fare zone C, and currently has 576 parking spaces. Prior to the reform of the ARTM's fare structure in July 2022, it was in zone 6.

Place Rosemère is a super regional mall in Rosemère, Quebec, Canada. It is near the intersection of Quebec Autoroute 640 and Quebec Autoroute 15. Its anchor stores are Walmart, La Baie and Best Buy. It has 200 stores, including a food court of thirteen restaurants. Place Rosemère is operated by Morguard Investments.Place Rosemère began modestly when it first opened in August 1975 with approximately 65 stores at 337,000 square feet anchored by Woolco, Beaver Lumber and Dominion. The Hudson's Bay Company had planned a La Baie store for the ianguration of the mall, but nothing ever came out of this announcement and it's only on March 13, 1991, that it opened at Place Rosemère.Dominion was acquired by Provigo on June 15, 1981 and Woolco by Wal-Mart in 1995.The mall was purchased by Morguard in late 1986.A first expansion, opened in 1991, brought to the mall to 90 stores along with the newly opened La Baie store of 140,000 square feet. The mall itself reached 605,677 square feet and almost doubled its floor area. This expansion also relocated the Canadian Tire store into the new section. Another expansion, opened on September 19, 2002, brought the mall to its current size and layout as Wal-Mart relocated to a new location earlier in February 2002 and a new Sears store moved to the old Wal-Mart store. This expansion coincided with the closing of two other anchor stores when Canadian Tire moved to a standalone location across the street and Provigo, one of the last supermarkets to be located in a Canadian regional mall, closed its doors. Some smaller stores took the place of the old Canadian Tire store, and Zara, Pharmaprix and Dormez-Vous took the place of the old Provigo store. A new Best Buy store opened on November 13, 2008.

Blainville is a provincial electoral district in the Laurentides region of Quebec, Canada that elects members to the National Assembly of Quebec. It contains the city of Blainville and two other smaller municipalities. It was created for the 1994 election from Groulx and Terrebonne electoral districts. In the change from the 2001 to the 2011 electoral map, it lost a part of the city of Blainville to Groulx electoral district; previously, the entire city was within Blainville electoral district. In the change from the 2011 to 2017 electoral map, the riding lost Sainte-Anne-des-Plaines to the new riding of Les Plaines and gained the Saint-Rédempteur neighbourhood of Blainville from Groulx.

Sainte-Thérèse is an off-island suburb northwest of Montreal, in southwestern Quebec, Canada, in the Thérèse-De Blainville Regional County Municipality. The town is mostly known as a home for heavy industry, but it is also a centre of recreational and tourist activities. It is near the southern limit of a web of cross-country ski trails which meander through the Laurentides. Heading north, it is possible to undertake several nature-filled days of skiing towards major resort centres such as Mont-Tremblant. During the summer, many of the ski trails are used as dedicated bicycle paths, making it possible to undertake day-long or week-long cycling excursions through unspoiled areas, from one resort area to another, without sharing the right of way with motorized vehicles.

Groulx is a provincial electoral district in the Laurentides region of Quebec, Canada, that elects members to the National Assembly of Quebec. It notably includes the city of Boisbriand as well as a few other small cities. It was created for the 1981 election from a part of the Terrebonne electoral district. In the change from the 2001 to the 2011 electoral map, it gained a small part of the city of Blainville from the Blainville electoral district; it did not previously include any part of that city. In the change from the 2011 to 2017 electoral map, the riding will lose the Saint-Rédempteur neighbourhood of Blainville to the riding of Blainville. From its creation in 1981 until 2007, Groulx was a bellwether riding always sending a member from the governing party to the National Assembly. Since the ADQ breakthrough in the suburbs of Montreal in 2007, the riding has been targeted by all major parties and is part of a collection of ridings that determine Quebec elections. The riding is overwhelmingly francophone and white, and has a strong nationalist undercurrent, making it a battleground riding between the Parti Quebecois, ADQ/CAQ, and the Quebec Liberals. In 2014, the PQ nominated Martine Desjardins, former leader of the FEUQ during the 2012 student strike. She was seen as a star candidate. While the PQ began the campaign with a strong lead among francophones and heavily targeted CAQ-held ridings such as Groulx, the fall of the PQ and rise of the CAQ during the last two weeks of the campaign kept this riding in the hands of the CAQ, albeit in a tight 3-way split with no candidate receiving more than 31% of the vote.

Rosemère is an affluent suburb of Montreal, in southwestern Quebec, Canada on the north shore of the Rivière des Mille Îles in the Thérèse-De Blainville Regional County Municipality. The town is noted for its green look, due to the high density of trees. Some wooded areas in the town have been left intact as the town has grown around them. Homes are mostly upscale, varying from renovated cottages to unique character homes. It is almost entirely residential, with no significant industries. Boulevard Curé-Labelle, the town's main commercial artery, is lined up by suburban shops and shopping malls, the largest of which is Place Rosemère. Its most famous resident is likely Alexandre Bilodeau, who became the first Canadian athlete to win an Olympic gold medal on Canadian soil. He won the men's moguls event at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Association de Soccer de Blainville, commonly referred to as A.S. Blainville, is a Canadian semi-professional soccer club based in the Montreal suburb of Blainville, Quebec, that plays in Ligue1 Québec. They are the only club to have participated in every season of the PLSQ.

The Centre d'Excellence Sports Rousseau is a 3,100 capacity multi-purpose arena in Boisbriand, Quebec, Canada. It is home to the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada ice hockey club in the QMJHL, who were previously known as the Montreal Junior Hockey Club.The area has ice surface dimensions available: 200 x 85 for hockey 130 x 65 for 3 on 3 events 55 x 30 for other events

Lorraine is an affluent off-island suburb of Montreal, in southwestern Quebec, Canada on the north shore of the Rivière des Mille-Îles in the Thérèse-De Blainville Regional County Municipality. There are no industries and only a very limited commercial district (comprising one medical center, one shopping mall, a golf course, a gym, a supermarket and arena); almost all houses are of the detached type. Furthermore, a large portion of the town territory is set aside as wild forest (Forêt du Grand Côteau); some bike/ski trails run through it. The town is divided into two areas, Uptown and Downtown (or Lorraine en haut and Lorraine en bas, colloquially, because the northern area is on higher ground). These two areas are also delimited by Quebec freeway A-640, and are only joined together by the main street (Boulevard de Gaulle) overpass. Lorraine has earned a reputation for high-end homes with pristine lawns. Due to the heat and humidity of summers in the region, many of these properties have in ground swimming pools in backyards. The town prides itself with completely underground utility networks apart from a small older section of the town (Avenue Fraser, Mey and Bruyeres in particular). The absence of telephone and electric poles contributes to the aesthetic appeal of the municipality. The town was founded February 4, 1960 and is named for the French region of the same name. The town is the territory of the Roman Catholic parishal community of Charles-de-Foucault (old parish), part of the (new) Saint-Luc parish of the Terrebonne pastoral region of the Saint-Jérôme diocese. The town is now part of the Thérèse-De Blainville federal electoral district (Marc-Aurèle-Fortin federal electoral district) and Blainville provincial electoral district. It makes district 22 of the Seigneurie-des-Milles-Îles French school board and is part of district 8 of the Sir-Wilfrid-Laurier English school board. Lorraine is also a member of the Montreal Metropolitan Community. The town has three elementary schools: École Le Carrefour and École Le Tournesol, which are very close to each other but separated by Parc Lorraine, as well as École du Ruisselet.
